Health › Smelling Your Partner's Fart Will Prolong Your Life - Scientific Research Claims by morereb10(op): 4:58pm On Nov 03, 2017
According to scientists no matter whether you like it or not, smelling your partner’s farts will amazingly make you live longer. Yes you read that right, a research team at the University of Exeter have discovered it is good for you to inhale your partner’s stinky farts as the gases in them can combat diseases.

So if you catch your partner eyeing you up weirdly tonight in bed, just sitting there waiting, you know why. The study, published in the journal Medicinal Chemistry Communications, analysed the impact of the gas hydrogen sulfide which humans produce in small amounts.

Although it was found to be noxious in large doses, researchers discovered that cellular exposure to small amounts of the gas can prevent mitochondrial damage which has many health implications.

One of the researchers, Dr. Mark Wood, said:

Although hydrogen sulfide is well known as a pungent, foul-smelling gas in rotten eggs and flatulence, it is naturally produced in the body and could in fact be a healthcare hero. Surprisingly the gas in farts can actually reduce the risk of several life threatening illnesses including cancer, stroke and heart attacks.

According to researchers, it has also been proven to prevent arthritis and dementia in old age. Creating a new compound know as AP39, the team at the University believe this can hold the key to future therapies as it ensures that the body retains and produces the right amount of hydrogen sulfide.

Researchers claim that this compound can be delivered to targeted cells in the body and placed inside. Professor Matt Whiteman, from the university’s medical school, added: When cells become stressed by disease, they draw in enzymes to generate minute quantities of hydrogen sulfide. This keeps the mitochondria ticking over and allows cells to live. If this doesn’t happen, the cells die and lose the ability to regulate survival and control inflammation.

We have exploited this natural process by making a compound, called AP39, which slowly delivers very small amounts of this gas specifically to the mitochondria. Our results indicate that if stressed cells are treated with AP39, mitochondria are protected and cells stay alive. According to the scientists the research has shown that if AP39 is administered, in models of cardiovascular disease 80 percent of the heart’s mitochondria cells survive under highly destructive conditions.

Early results also that show that AP39 can help to lower high blood pressure and also dramatically improve the chances of survival after a heart attack by slowing the heartbeat making it more efficient. The team are now working towards testing the compound in humans. This research is interesting but of course in its early stages with no real conclusions being made. However, next time your partner has a go at your for farting, just tell them you are doing it out of the kindness of your heart.

90% Of Runs Girls Don't Get Married To Good Guys, They End Up Being Used For Rituals - Twitter User

Contrarily to what most people think in Nigeria, that runs girls (call girls) always end up with rich and lovely guys why good girls don't, this notion is a blatant lie from the pit of hell to even say that 90% of them is absurd. Runs girls end up being used for rituals according to popular Nigerian twitter user @Oyemykkee

Oyemykkee says people should stop this kind of thinking, cause in actual fact, according to him, 90% of runs girls end up being used as ritual sacrifice and also get infected with all kinds of ailment. He said 80% of good girls end up with good guys but no one is talking about that.

TV/Movies › You Are Viewing Bein Sports Illegally - TSTV Subscribers Warned By Bein Station by morereb10(op): 1:16pm On Nov 03, 2017
Could this spell the end of TSTV, could this be another propaganda by other satellite competitors, could it be that TSTV is really having issues with BeIN and that they didn't obtain the channels legally? What does this really mean to prospective buyers of TSTV satellite dish and decoders?

Recall that TSTV has started the commercial sales of their decoders and it is turning out to be a flop. Many of their subscribers were shocked as the BeIN Sports notified them of illegal viewing of the Europa League match between Arsenal and Red Star Belgrade.

This message appeared during the first football match broadcast of the pay-Tv provider on Thursday, November 2, 2017. A Nigerian viewer narrated his experience and how the match was truncated half-way into the game.

“This happened right before my eyes. And it is compared only to American wonder in Nigeria. 29 seconds to the commencement of arsenal vs zve match, a message appeared on our screen stating the followings:

This is surely a bad way to start a business which is touted an alternative to major competitor.
(Lemmymorgan)

“And immediately after this, the screen went blank and there was another message that stayed for a while before TSTV wiped it out.”

The Qatari-based sports company had earlier issued a memo to the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) stating that they have no content distributorship agreement with TSTV; thus, making distributing their contents on its platform an illegal activity.

However, TSTVAfrica denied any wrongdoing and existence of such memo. This put more credence to the question of why TSTV would establish its business in such stormy beginning.

TSTV have also responded on the incident on Twitter and explained that its system was hacked by unscrupulous elements and it is working to resolve the issue.

— TSTV (@) 2013-07-22 14:22:09.0

There are many questions to be answered about the operation of TSTV. In the coming days, the option of TSTV as a viable alternative to market monopoly power of DSTV and GOTV will be validated or destroyed.

Politics › CAN Slams VP. Osinbajo For Saying Buhari's Administration Has No Islamic Agenda by morereb10(op): 9:10pm On Nov 01, 2017
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has warned Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo to stop discrediting the organisation in his “avowed resolve to douse religious tension in Nigeria and win the heart of the government of President Muhammadu Buhari”.

Osinbajo, last week, said there was no agenda to Islamise Nigeria and that no one could possibly do so. He also berated Christian leaders for raising alarm on the issue. Recall that even former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode also raised the alarm earlier this week on how Nigeria has been systematically Islamised.

Reacting, President of CAN, Rev Dr Samson Olasupo Ayokunle, urged Osinbajo to cross check his facts well before making public remarks on the matter next time. In a statement on Wednesday signed by his spokesman, Pastor Adebayo Oladeji, Ayokunle noted that most Christian leaders in Nigeria were taken aback by the remarks credited to Osinbajo and had sought the intervention of the leadership of CAN to set the record straight with documented facts pointing towards the verity of plot by the present government to Islamise Nigeria.

The CAN President said Osinbajo was indeed, oblivious of certain happenings, stressing that the body of Christians in Nigeria have long been aware of the grand plot to Islamise Africa, with Nigeria as a major focus. He insisted that the Nigerian government has been working in tandem with the Organisation Of Islamic Countries (OIC) and Islam In Africa Organisation to achieve this.

He said,

“The OIC met in London in 1983 with a follow up meeting in Nigeria in 1989 and had issued a communiqué to Islamize Africa with Nigeria capturing a great attention. This is a public knowledge while facts could be obtained from Wikipedia with links on OIC’s Conference in London, 1983 and Abuja Declaration of 1989.

“It is also a matter of fact that Nigeria was later made an observer member of the body (OIC) through General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida. Under General Sani Abacha, another Muslim leader, Nigeria was made full member in total violation of the constitution that the nation is secular and our government should not be religiously partisan.

“From then on, conscious efforts were on to draw Nigeria into joining different Islamic organizations in keeping with the resolutions of OIC & Islam in Africa Organization (IAO). (See their communiqué tagged ‘Abuja Declaration of 1989).”

Ayokunle said that CAN has not been opposing, and will not oppose Islamic evangelism in any part of Nigeria, even if done with the support of the government since Christians also evangelise, but that the Christian body will never support any government to make Islam a State religion under any guise.

“We are not opposed to Islamic evangelism by any Muslim group if done with a peaceful motive. The Christians also exercise their constitutional rights to do so through revivals and gospel rallies. But we are opposed to the government of Nigeria adopting Islamic resolutions aimed towards a compelling of this country, contrary to the dictates of the constitution”

According to Daily Post, CAN however, advised Osinbajo to use his office to correct the imbalance in the Nigerian system and other alleged unconstitutional actions noted with the government in order to reduce tension in the polity.

“Our worry as a body is that Nigeria started getting active in international Islamic alliances and organizations in total violation of the constitution. But the Vice President seems not conscious of this and the motive behind adoption of the Sukkuk Bond.

“Then we ask, Is Sukkuk constitutional? Is Sukkuk not part of the resolutions of OIC & IAO Is it not part of Nigeria’s adoption of Islamic sharia and financial system that it is mandatory for all governments in Africa subscribing to Islam?

“We also ask why the present government joined Islamic Military Alliance against terrorism? Are we an Islamic nation to so do? Can’t Nigeria fight terrorism without joining Islamic coalition? Why would the government continue to consciously heat up the polity?” the body quipped

Politics › Retired Soldiers Protest Over Unpaid Entitlements In Abuja (Photos) by morereb10(op): 11:27am On Nov 01, 2017
This is an ongoing protest in FCT Abuja. Some retired officers of the Nigeria Army today, being Wednesday 1st November 2017 protested in Abuja, the nation’s capital, over their unpaid entitlements.

The ‘old soldiers,’ believed to be in their 70s and 80s, chanted war songs at the Unity Fountain, Abuja. “We are soldiers, we fought for the nation, we are old now no pension,” the protesters could be heard singing.

The development came two weeks after President Muhammadu Buhari approved the payment of pension to police personnel who served under the defunct Biafran police during the civil war. The protesters insisted that if ex-Biafran police could get their pensions, their case should not be forgotten.

Some inscriptions on their placards read;

‘As ex-Biafran police deserve pension, the ex-Nigerian soldiers also deserve pension benefit. Buhari approve payment to us, please’;

‘President Buhari don’t let us die, we can’t enjoy our benefits in the grave’; ‘Buhari save us from hunger’.

TV/Movies › TSTV News: Don't Fail Us On November 1st, Nigerians Warn TSTV Management by morereb10(op): 5:30pm On Oct 31, 2017
TSTV is the tune in every Nigerian's mouth today because her citizens have come to accept that they will be the messiah that will save them from the exorbitant cost DSTV is apologetically charging for satellite services in the country.

They (TSTV) have had their own share of disappointments and they were schedules to lunch on July 1st, they didn't meet up and later shifted the lunch to October 1st. After they made the lunch on October 1st, Nigerians didn't believe they were going to wait a whole month to get their hands on the much awaited decoders after they annnounced they will commence the commercial distribution of the decoders by November 1st 2017.

Nigerians have however called on the new and trending pay television provider, TSTV not to fail Nigerians as it gets set to begin sales tomorrow. Nigerian have urged the newly launched satellite television provider, TSTV not to renege on its promise to begin sales of its decoders by November 1.

Many of whom took to various social media platforms to urge TSTV not to dash their hopes like it did on October 1, during its official launch. Nigerians had anticipated an immediate sale of the TSTV decoders following its formal launch but the TV provider however announced that sales would commence Nov. 1.

However the failure of TSTV to begins sales immediately coupled with an allegation that it was illegally claiming to have license to air some content belonging to bEIN seemed to have dampened the zeal of some Nigerians. But many other Nigerians who took to their twitter handles insisted that they were ready to go with TSTV all the way no matter the amount of channels it had.

Worst mistake one can ever make. On a more serious note guys, when will Nigeria as a whole and especially this so called OAP's or slay queens understand that the way a man speaks English, is not the way he should be judged.

It is very wrong to assume the content of ones character is in his or her ability to speak correct or fluent English. English is a borrowed language in this country. When will we understand that?

She can say she won't invite Bobrisky because of what he represent, that will be understandable judging from the values in the society associated with us but definitely not because he can't speak good English.

After all, like my friend use to say, - na idea we need.
