Buhari Is Silent Over Libya Slave Trade Because Those Been Sold Are Mostly Igbos & Yorubas - FFK

I'm a fan of FFK but his remarks and assertion about President Buhari has gone too far. Though I can't entirely chastise him for that, because President Buhari has been known to be biased in so many cases. Recalling the most recent one, when UN president said he told him to focus his developmental plans in the North.

The former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, claims that President Buhari's silence over the Libyan slave trade is because most Nigerians that were sold in the hideous trade are mostly Igbo, Edo and Yoruba.

According to Fani-Kayode (SAN), 75% of those sold into slavery have their “organs harvested, bodies mutilated and roasted like suya.”

The birthday of former Zimbabwe's President Robert Gabriel Mugabe has been declared a national holiday by the new government. According to a report by The Herald, February 21, which is the date Mugabe was born, will now be a National Youth Day in Zimbabwe.

The move to make Mugabe's birthday a public holiday was reportedly arrived at after intense lobbying within the ruling party Zanu-PF, which ironically had sacked Mugabe and his wife Grace.

Zimbabwe's new President Emmerson Mnangagwa, who officially took office on Friday, November 24, has indicated that he will still work closely with the former president, who happened to be his political mentor.

"To me personally, he remains a father, mentor, comrade-in-arms and my leader," Mnangagwa said while giving his acceptance speech during his swearing in ceremony.

"Mugabe will continue to have a role to play in Zimbabwean politics," Father Fidelis Mukonori, the Jesuit priest behind the negotiations that led to Mugabe's resignation disclosed to BBC.

Former Big Brother Africa Housemate and the last concluded Big Brother Nigeria host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is trending this days on everything and everywhere he goes. The On Air personality was trending on socials a week ago over his fashion style to Banky W and Adesua traditional wedding held in Lagos.

Though he didn't trend so much on fashion at Banky's white wedding in South African but the OAP is trending on another topic altogether. He is making his mark everywhere he goes. This time, he has social media talking about him again in course of BAAD 2017 after he, who was the anchor of their white wedding in Cape Twon, made a slip in calling Adesua, ‘Mrs Etomi’ instead of ‘Mrs Wellington’.

People though said he jokingly did that and wanted the controversy while others thought he made a mistake there. Regardless of what one thinks, the purpose has been fulfilled "trending and publicity". And in PR, they say no such think as good or bad publicity.. Is publicity simply.

Wizkid has be cursed, blasted and slammed by his own fans today for not attending Banky W's white wedding in South Africa which he promised to attend after he missed the traditional wedding held the previous week in Lagos.

According the starboy, his passport was withheld and sources also said one of Adesua Etomi's close friend also suffered the same set back.

Wizkid wrote this on Instagram..

Ousted Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe and his wife Grace are to receive £7.5m as well as immunity from prosecution as part of a reported “golden goodbye” package.

The 93-year-old autocrat, who finally bowed to pressure to resign after 37 years in power, is said to have struck a bargain with the military to allow him and his wife to enjoy their retirement in the lap of luxury in Zimbabwe rather than being forced into exile.

Although ousted by a military takeover, Mr Mugabe will continue to enjoy full military protection as a former head of state as well as his full presidential salary of £112,500 a year until his death, local media reported.

Dubbed “Gucci Grace”, Ms Mugabe is known for her extravagant shopping habits, particularly her love of designer shoes. More than 40 years younger than her husband, she will continue to receive half of his salary after his death.

According to reports, Mr Mugabe negotiated the exit package for himself and his 52-year-old wife through a team of mediators who included a Catholic priest. An unnamed source told the Zimbabwe Independent : “Government will give him a £3.75m lump sum and then the remainder will be paid out in instalments.

“Mugabe will also enjoy full medical cover as well as his monthly salary. In the event of his death, his wife will be given half (of his) salary per month.” Sources claimed that shortly after Mr Mugabe tendered his
following the takeover and impeachment proceedings against him, Commander of the Presidential Guard, Brigadier-General Anselem Sanyatwe, called for an emergency Joint Operations Command meeting with uniformed officers.

“We were told that the President had resigned, but that he was granted full immunity. Sanyatwe informed us that Mugabe will continue to enjoy protection as a former head of state,” the unnamed source reportedly told the newspaper.

Mr Mugabe’s 37-year rule, characterised by corruption and oppression, left Zimbabwe with an impoverished population, an unemployment rate of 80 per cent, a virtually worthless currency and crippling debts.

Oh my God, we were so engrossed with Banky W's and Oritsefemi's wedding yesterday and today that we forget that today is the birthday of the boss of all bosses, the Don himself.
