I wish I understood how it worked tbh, how is it that this odu works fine .. but their normal 5g slow as hell .
I just took it that airtel themselves do not have the technology thats sufficient for a proper 5g experience.

my only theories right now , is that either Airtel throttles users for reasons we don't know, or the ODU router is just on a whole different level. Services like Starlink or fiber users make sense to me because they provide clear explanations of how their service works Starlink uses satellites, and fiber networks rely on dedicated fiber cables, so consistent speeds are to be expected.

Airtel, on the other hand, has too many inconsistencies. That’s why I assumed that they simply didn’t have the technology to deliver a proper 5G experience.
however this odu router makes me rethink all this..only explanation is that maybe the router user has is what determines the speeds users get

Actually me too i guess they're doing it deliberately to lure us in but even the ODU is not consistent one thing I've learned

Why can't Airtel find a way to only activate ODU complementary subscription only when it has been installed cus wtf is this over 4 days no call and subscription counting

The current ZLT with white IDU doesn't have Esim support, just physical sim.

Considering most people will be on the 50mbps plan.....Both is good. I live in a purely 4g environment with average ok network. I have done several test between them, put both in the same location and connect them to the same LTE bands and frequency.
What I noticed is that the ZLT connect to Airtel power LTE band 7 better than the ZTE. And it's easier to lock a good cell on it than the ZTE. It also has better speed. But for gaming I think the ZTE is mildly better. Both is still average for mobile gaming but perfect for streaming. I put a regular sim in both, connect both to the same bands for fairness. This is what I got
The ZLT consistently achieve better download and upload speed than the ZTE.

Videos has never buffered since I got this ODU. I stream on 1080p.

Likely unstable when doing the readings even on video stream quality it might buffer or might be a glitch in the readings

😂... I said the same thing when I first saw the post ... But I don't have a choice than to test it because I was getting maximum of 1.2mbps on good days .. but after I did it .. I am getting minimum of 9mbps and most times I will get 21mbps... I hv Downloaded more than 1tllb files with it. My first month of buying the router was a disaster, because it was very slow .. I was about to sell it because of bad network .. U can give it a try, there is not harm iñ trying

I was even amazed that i got up to 20Mbps on 3G

I just checked it's literally putting the router on 3G mode which will limit the speed there is no way you will get 20Mbps on 3G you can get around 10Mbps to 12Mbps though
