nairalanda1: Yes because most Nigerians don't pay band a tarrifs. That means that anu profit made from band a users is cancelled out by losses sustained from the majority on the other bands
Imagine owning a provisions shop where only 20 percent of your customers pay full price for what they buy, the rest pay half price and a quarter take your goods without paying. Your shop won't make a profit to run well/keep it a going concern.
Same thing happens in our power sector. Profits are so low that it is a struggle to even supply band a people . Why always talk this nonsense |

Osyxcel: You can't compare Starlink to Fiber. In terms of quality, Fiber is superior.
The major advantage of Starlink is coverage.
And yes, 1Gbps is an enterprise plan and not tailored for the general public. The 1Gbps plan is available for everyone and doesn’t have to be limited to enterprises, but the price is quite high compared to other markets, which is largely due to the current Nigerian economy. |

senator282: Is this policy not to their own loss and disadvantage in a way, because if we give it out to people who can't afford to buy equipment but can afford the monthly sub,is it not to their own advantage and more profits for space x company. I don't understand the reason behind this at all. I read on reddit some were able to do it with zero issue but the kit has to be left unused for some time But if starlink catch you 100% you will pay for full kit price |

Nazgul: You forcefully moved people into Band A without their consent, yet despite the outrageous amount they now pay for electricity units, you cannot keep your own side of the agreement.
Band A was sold to Nigerians on the promise of at least 20 hours of electricity daily. Today, many of those customers are lucky to get even half of that.
If you collect premium charges based on a clear promise and then fail to deliver the agreed service, what do you call that if not a scam?
Adelabu and everyone involved in this policy need to be removed from office and face prosecution. You can’t punish people with inflated bills, and still expect them to keep quiet while service delivery keeps getting worse. This is what i have been saying but no one give attention this is outright scam by FG |
