The overheating issue might be your radiator fan or blockage inside your radiator.
Once your compressor start having low pumping,I will advice you replace it.

I started perceiving sweet smell in my car and some days later the aC stopped cooling. Was told it is d evaporator Dat is leaking. Is it true? If yes, how much is a new evaporator for 307 France model?

I can't really tell if it is the evaporator until when I run pressure leakage test,because isn't really easy dismantling dashboard.

if you see leak on your carpet it could be your expansion valve,and for your compressor i will advice you replace it.
Before going into conclusion i will advice we do leakage pressure test first.

Hello Sir, I have a Opel Astra 2000 model and I've been having problems with the compressor for sometime now. I've changed several compressors & even condenser but gas keeps escaping from the compressor. I was told it's a common problem with Opel brands & now my AC guy us suggesting using compressor from a different brand (Peugeot) and constructing a seat for it.
Please what do you suggest I do?

I will advice you use is own compressor.when you buy the compressor tell your technician to take it to people that repair compressor so that they can help you change the O-rings in between the compressor before fixing,or you buy a new compressor.

I have done a check on my car (Toyota Camry) and really, the compresor is badly damaged on the inside. I was told the oil got dried up. I also took it to another electrician @ Ladipo who looked at it and said the same thing. The compressor for my car cost btw 37k to 40k but was given an option of getting a Peugeot's own with the same sitting though less expensive. I hope to get it done by tomorrow, I don't really have that cash and I'm considering option B, which I have no knowledge of since it's less expensive. So pls i need advice, thanks.

I will advice you save your money when you have enough cash,fix the AC,the Peugeot compressor capacity is too much for your engine.

I drive Honda Accord 2005.

Worked on the AC of recent cos it started blowing warm air and before then, the AC only pics/starts when the car is moving. It doesnt start at all when on a spot.

The AC guy did somethings and the RPM needle goes higher over 1RPM (The Engine revs higher) when I start the AC on a spot which wasnt so before. What could he have done please cos he keeps claiming that is how it's suposse to be.

Tell him to re-adjust the RPM back to the normal position.
All he needs to do is service your nozzle,check the plugs and clean the throttle head,the RPM will return to is not my position.

When I fill my car it finishes within two weeks.
The tech I gave found the compressor to be leaking worked on it and mo more leaking and yet the car still leaking gas but can't find the point of leakage

it could be your evaporator,condenser or hoses.
Who so ever is checking needs to check properly.you can also buy uv dye oil,inject it into the system.

if the issue is the oil seal i will advice you change the compressor reason is most times the repair don't last long.Those new oil seals are fake.
