yea..God surprised me..I paid d full tuition by his grace..got someone who lives in toronto gta to write a receipt for a years accomodation as well..resubmitted last friday...so praying nd waiting now..twasnt easy bro

yea..ur trv is coming surely...if they were not considering it they would have dropped it back a long time ago...make u dey try think d tuition condition just incase,it is crazy when u get a shocker like that,i just met my conditions yesterday,waiting for confirmation of receipt from school,it was crazy,so try dey ready incase dem ask u

no aids boss,but it is meant to be pay as you go,per flight,but cdhc have decided to hit me with a big one once...but God dey.

Good day boss,i want to first say ure being a great help to everyone here,thanks.I needed some help regarding my conditions giving to me regarding tution fees and board, i have gotten a house owner in the GTA to issue me a receipt as concerns the board, but the tuition is $40k,my sponsor my dad dosen't have such money in cash as he lives in the us and is mostly into stock,but the bank has agreed to write a promisory note on his behalf to the school covering this fees(a bank guarantee)and the school want to write that in the letter of confirmation of receipt they have recieved a bank guarantee for the said sum from schwab bank promising to pay in trounces of 10k every week,but unfortunately my deadline would have elapsed before they complete that,do you think the cdhc would frown on these or they would understand,as i was previously arrranged to be on a pay as you go basis with the school.what do you think sir?Please other members of the house are welcome to assist me as my days are flying and i really have to meet this conditions,thanks

Olami1224: @mosquitoway: The best thing i can suggest to you is that you try and pay the School fees and get the receipt online on time as instructed then back-it up with a letter stating you want to get a better Accommodation outside the School, you don't wanna stay in the Hostel, and give reasons like you want to see the place that will be suitable for you.

DON'T LEAVE A PENNY OUT OF THE SCHOOL PAYMENT FEE, AND MAKE SURE YOU PAY FULL PAYMENT AS INCLUDED IN YOUR ADMISSION LETTER. " I HAD THIS SAME ISSUE" THIS CANADIAN EMBASSY BADT'GAN"

adexcube: This doesn't make any sense. How will they say you should pay full tuition for a flight training and they know how much that is involved. Make then give themselves brain oo cos my full tuition no dey ground now ooo. What about duration of time in which you must pay, did they state that at all? Talk to your school they should give you a document to cover the CDHC wahala for accommodation if they don't provide accommodation for their students. Goodluck bro.

brotherman i taya ooo...they said i should pay in 30days...i dont even have an idea on how i would pay that plus accomodation alomost $40k in 30days,i have called the school and i have asked them for help,i am waiting on what they would say today,thanks bro

Siga: ...both can be done....there are alot of people that dont know anyone here....so, u can go that route....also, go on the school site....most schools now have list of landlords...and u can get in touch with one....have him hold the place for u and use the correspondence ....then let CDHC know u wanna see the place before paying and that the landlord agreed....

hi guys..i got my passport back from cdhc today with my conditions to pay full fees and board and also get a new start date.my fees a re ridiculous to be paid once bbut God dey,what i was wondering is the board , the accomodation part i am meant to show for one year,is it possible i get someone in canada that owns a house to show a receipt that i paid for the year,cos rily cant pay the full accomodation now,and again does it have to be in the york region where my school is?i really dont know how i would prove the payment of the one year accomodation..any ideas in the house plsss?

adexcube: Oga lucky, you've not been following the thread for some days now if not you would have noticed that it has been occurring again and again. CDHC sends the mail when they approve while vfs changes your status when CDHC informs them.

@ adexcube...i went to vfs today and they still do not have my passport,they told me it isnt compulsory your passprt comes back until trv is issued after medicals ,if cdhc doesnt have other requirements.I just wanted to know if this is true as it seems everyone else had contact with their passport after being called for medicals?pls help

kayce43: Ok, in my own case, I was sent an e-mail on d 19th Dec to do medicalz only for me to receive d instructions on d 7th of january still with no passport, so I had to tell dem @ d clinic dat d embassy dint send my passport but I wld use my driver's license, they agreed, I used an agency, so my medical fees were included in d fee already but wen I was thr I hrd dem giving them bank details to go pay, so if u want to go today, u wld jst be trying ur luck to see if they accept cash, my opinion is if ur not in a hurry, I tink u shld jst chill till monday, also to see if ur passport will be sent but u have to let the embassy knw about the e-mail, so they'll send ur passport to vfs asap.

MissAhoy: @mosquitoaway, check VFS website they will definitely update on Monday, try and go later in the day to pickup from VFS, as it takes a while for the package to get there!. You can go to the clinic with the forms to get the bankslip and make payment on Monday.

congrats...House help me thank God as well,i got an email from cdhc labelled medical instructions,it was a form with my name on it, a barcode and spaces for passport photographs,i submitted on october 11th and got this email yesterday ,my status has not updated on the vfs website,so i do not have my passport,what do i do?should i use my drivers license to go for the medicals?

adexcube: My flight school gave me a contact of a Nigerian currently training in the school so I asked her how long it took to get her visa and he told me that trvs to flight schools takes a minimum of 6months and her own was 6months and 2weeks so I guess am still on the right track. She also said she was called for medicals in the 5th month so am still good to go. What a great relief.

hi...i have a ppl aeroplane as well and have applied for my cpl in canada and awaiting my visa in nigeria,i would advise you apply for your visa from sa cos of the waiting time in nigeria and for the fact that they doubt most of your documents,even if it had to be the same waiting time for your visa, you can always continue building hours in sa as opposed to nigeria where there is no where you can rent a plane for hour building,and also you dont get rusty.in a scenario where it takes you about 4-5months to get your visa,without any flying during that period,u might have to do a refresher when you get to canada,what school are you going to do tho?

I'm not saying TRV is not possible but its definitely not for a January start....

There are so many factors to be considered....

i quite understand you,but anyone resuming 2 weeks late shouldnt b so bad,you would get a letter of extension from the school and have them know why, you would also present this document at the point of entry incase u are quizzed. But lets see how it goes.
