bumdish: Siga, absolutely.
I am trying to keep it simple and since most people usually go through G2 before doing G. I wouldn't advise someone from Niaja to skip G2 for reasons beyond the scope of this write-up. http://www.drivetest.ca/EN/licencing/Pages/Out-of-Country-Drivers.aspx
Details for #25 @ http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/pub/bsf5052-eng.html
i did straight to G as well,I would advise anyone willing to drive here to bring along the Nigerian license,I had to have my own sent to me by dhl,

Just thot to mention this, might of help to others yet to apply,i didnt know this information when i applied to ontario, now i noticed ontario is the most expensive province to live in,it is quite different from other places in terms of cost.Car insurance here is the most expensive in canada and it goes on like that.I would advise applicants to look into alberta, minus lower costs they offer the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program, whereby if you work after 1year upon completion of school on a post study work permit you can apply for permanent residence. i think it is worth noting,ok back to applications..lol

newacca: Thanks so much for your concern, and for going to the extent of making calls and direct contact for me. I also sent messages to 3 of their former students( All of them have changed college) one of them spoke with me on fone, that the school has closed, the other one sent response to my e-mail that he put some calls thru and he was told the school is not offering ACCA anymore. The third person said he gotta get back to me.
I sent messages to the college's e-mails addresses that we correspond on,it bounces back. I will call their phone number tomorrow.
Meanwhile,I am already searching for Public colleges to enrol with.
@Mosquitoaway,if eventually check on them,u can get more facts and reactions from students their or the college staff. I know they will want to sweet-coat words. Thanks Bro.
Yea the guy that answered the phone did not say categorically that they had stopped,he was goin up and down about it and maintaining no new acceptance letters have been issued out,I wld get back to you soonest tho

d2ddayo: so far so good, i thnk i shud say nairaland is far better than twitter maybe bcus its a forum where u get to discuss better things though other than gossips n all. am a first timer here and am feeling the vibe poured out by everyone here. so now straight to my own issue. i applied to MUN got my admission and i ve differed it twice due to som ishs, now i intend to forward my application to the emb. my sponsors cant be my parents cus they dont stay in naija. they re all in ireland where i travel to every year by GOD's grace. i ve other countries added to my passport like france, germany, dubai, italy and ireland. i hope this stands as an added advantage to my application cus i ve never overstayed. now i cant use them bcus i dont think anyone in europe really has a strong bank statement like of of people in naija.... so i intend to use a very close family friend of my dad. whats ur advice house on this? and also, for anyone who applied to MUN, please can i get a buzz from such person please cus i will want to know if truly it is that i only ve to make a deposit before i forward my application to the embassy. thanks in anticipation for ur response.
you can use a foreign bank statement..its always better if you show direct family relationship..i used a foreign bak statement as well and all went well.good luck

kayce43: @Robbie 37, I can understand kenniy's frustration cus he knows a Sept applicant dat has bin issued visa n I equally know d person, so d whole tin is confusing , being dat its a scholarship scheme, no one wld blame him abt visiting d embasy to knw wats happening wit his application...I wld say it again, if ur medicals has stayed above 2months , visit d embassy just like Kenniy did, so u wld know d status of ur application.
i quite understand as well but i would advise he takes it easy as they have responded they have all documents with them so as not to expedite te process negatively..it is well by Gods grace

lucky Don: Bros,i experienced that when i wanted to pay through GTB.the gal i saw there knew nothing like that and requested that i open a dom account wey be long tin.U no get wahala at all.if u have acct in union and first bank, just go there and do ur biusiness.its as simple as abc.i used the both when i paid for application and tuition fees.ask them of foriegn operations.secondly when going,go with photocopies of ur credentials and ur intl passport(photocopy).also go early in the morning so that the payment can be transfered that day if its by SWIFT.lastly it must be a savings acct before the money can be transfered.Goodluck.
zenith bank uses form a as well
