I cant stop laughing at the ridiculous prices many programmers that probably even lack experience are calling, one said 500k, another said 800k and yet another posted thousands of dollars. truth is, there are apps that cost millions or thousands of dollars, but what our naija programmers get wrong is trying to charge base on what they see their usa counterpart charges. it just cant work that way cause economy differs, u cant say because Americans charge $10,000, you too wanna charge same in nigeria, Take for example, A banker in the usa will earn averagely about $9,000 monthly which is about 3.2million monthly while in Nigeria, 3.2million is some bankers yearly salary. Indians are another experts in software development, but they charge noting close to other develop countries because economy differs, many programmers in nigeria who ought to be living well doing many jobs end up not having much because they have clouded their mindset base on charging like abroad programmers. To the poster, rather than seeking online programmers (though a few on nairaland who have worked with are good) but going to a good IT company in Nigeria will cost alot less, u might spend less than 150k for the kind of app you wanna build . If they charge you anything above 200k, be sure to get exceptional great functions.

I was waiting to see if someone would be smart enough to figure this out, and you were. Poor lighting, bad camera made her look dark. Like one of my friends I grew up with who has always been extremely lightskin from birth, I saw some of our old pictures and she was looking darker than usual because of the poor camera quality and bad lighting. Nina is obviously naturally fair.

Nigerians love saying thrash just cos they hate someone, Cant you see that picture was taking when people still use java and symbian phones, when picture quality was zero, besides Nina's complexion shows she has always been fair, but as she gets older, she takes care of herself more, Not every fair person is bleaching, Nigerians needs to get this into their head.

I just like this lady, people filled with hate tried bringing u down, but u used ur experience at the house to become a better person, surprising how everyone who has gotten close to CeeC realise shes actually a good person.

My best friend from school, we met when we're 11, married my ex boyfriend who I introduced her to. I dated the guy when I was 23/24 and turned down his marriage proposal because he was broke and uneducated. So we ended the relationship since I wouldn't marry him.

He approached my bestie and she hid this from me. She actually broke my heart by telling me "she and I can't be friends because I'm a bad influence and she's trying to be a good Muslim woman". I was the bad girl, I smoked, clubbed and didn't wear a headscarf. (I think he told her to drop me)

I found out a couple of years later, (my brother told me she gave birth, and married so and so) I wasn't invited to the wedding obviously, even though we promised to be eachother's bridesmaids

She apologized nearly 8 yrs later for ending our friendship and for judging me but I still haven't met her children or rekindled our friendship. She is still has my heart and will be my best friend but... from a distance.

She made a man out of him though. She put him through school because she was already a graduate. I am angry because she sold herself short! She deserved better than him but... who am I to say that.

I wish them all the good in the world. I just wish he didn't take my blood sister from me. -We made a blood bond in school- a childish act (we pricked our finger with a pin and rubbed the blood)- this made us 'blood-sisters-
