Ian Wright: "You see what happened the other day when we lost to Iceland, if people don’t come out and speak against seeing [Bukayo] Saka in all the papers after playing 25 minutes – all of those headlines – if you don’t speak out, it’s on him, they are going for him.
"That’s the problem we have now, that’s what’s happening, that’s how they do it. I try to not say anything negative about the players, I try to do it constructively, because when they hear it from us, it almost gives those idiots out there the licence to come at players even more," he told the Overlap.

Imagine Person like Marquinhos, Raphinha, Richarlison, Antony dey play like people wey grow up for England. It's so sad that prime Marcelo will bench most of these boys.
Na why I no deh watch best of so so player again. Now, best player clip na just goals and runs full am. If na before days you go see mad skills and dribbles That's why there NT team now looks ordinary. Brazilian teams used to be filled with skillful players. That was their culture. Jesus and Martinelli still dey show flashes here and there. |

Jodera: Lol...All these issues are because of grassroots/academy levels
Most coaches now are saying the reason why we don't see good players again is because in the youth and grassroots level (and academy), most coaches there emphasizes more on strict tactics and positions instead of creativity. Imagine telling a 5yr old attacker not to dribble but he should be doing positional play and movement. How will such a player learn how to effectively beat his man consistently? Everybody now is now doing system-system and robotic football and it's really killing the joy of the game. Imagine the dearth of good wingers who can't beat their players one on one in all the whole top leagues just because most of these players are being taught robotic football right from their foundation age .
It's really unfortunate.
This is Argentina coach Scaloni beautifully summarizing it. You can Imagine the reason why we have less and less dribblers/imaginative players and more Robotic players. It's the big reasons the kind of Sanchez, Hazard, Robben have gone into extinction. And if good Wingers are scarce like this, imagine how the imaginative/creative midfielders like them Fabregas and Ozil (creative passers) are getting into extinction and people like Mount are getting recognition. Na why people like Odegaard/Kdb are hot commodity. It is so sad bro. Football has lost its excitement. Those days when one player go chop mad dribble and you would immediately stood up and shout. The joke, the banter, the standing ovation...all gone. It is so sad bro. The standard of football has dropped. Even the South American teams that should serve us something exciting are now doing tikitaka. |

BascoVanVeli: My brother we have lost to Ghana twice and both times our goals were by the grace of the most high. U can't tell me that u are fully confident of what we have. I even think we should take a couple more U17 girls. Peace Effiong, Taiwo Afolabi and Abidemi Moshood should be looked at. Even if they will not be starters, they can add value to that team. Cv Well, it is up to both coaches. That two losses against Ghana has a lot to do with tactic that the personnels IMO. And let's not even forget the magomago from Ghana people. If Chris and Bankole feel the girls can play two tourney, let them go ahead. |

How I wish we fit just get player like him again. Chaiii!!
Worst part is that such qualities of his no even dey again At all... Pep and his people don turn them to robots. You will watch Doku and Grealish and wonder if na the same ball Sanchez played, Dem dey play too. Martinelli is a bit closer to Sanchez but he doesn't have the brain and the freedom. |

BascoVanVeli: First of all the U20s always come before U17. Plus she wouldn't be the first to do both. Rasheedat Ajibade played in both in the same year. It's not like she will be on vacation if she doesn't go. She will be with her club side. So we might as well let her work with older players before she goes to the U17s. Well...it is up to her and the coaches. IMO, she should focus on U17 by now. There are players ahead of her in that U20 already. |

Alexis Sanchez!!!!!

Jodera: Let's just hope they Sevilla would be able to drop 10m after the 3m fee cos most of these Spanish clubs no dey drop money at all.
We really no catch gold for that him and Marquinhos signing Another way we earn money is through sell on clause. We inserted the clause in Guen and Hutchinson's deals which means we're entitled to a percentage from their future sale. We can do so for Sambi too. Marquinhos case is just a case of being home sick. I don't think he properly settled here. |

Amedino99: kind of their tough luck. The Ranking is for third place teams. The best losers tag is just a decorative name. It doesn't make sense jare. There is a possibility of teams in a group finishing on the same points so whether you finish 3rd or 4th shouldn't matter when ranking best losers. |

What's the essence of buying lokonga only to sell him for cheap after two seasons? Lokonga was recommended sha but that no mean say no be waste of money. And the guy play well in his first couple of matches. The 3m is loan fee. Hopefully we fit see 10m from Sevilla next summer. |
