What's the essence of buying lokonga only to sell him for cheap after two seasons? Lokonga was recommended sha but that no mean say no be waste of money. And the guy play well in his first couple of matches. The 3m is loan fee. Hopefully we fit see 10m from Sevilla next summer. |

BascoVanVeli: So wait, u don't think she has done enough to make that team? The only reason i can understand is not putting too much on her plate. Outside of that she should definitely be on that team.
I understand we have our top 9 from the oshoala academy but 12 goals in 6 matches is 12 goals in 6 matches. Those numbers alone should guarantee her a spot. Basco..that girl is still young. Playing U20 world cup just weeks after the U17 WC will be too much for her. BTW, scoring for U17 is different from scoring for U20. She will meet a lot of pro in the U20 tourney which may expose her inexperience. One step at a time. |

Theo Walcott: “The turning point for me in terms of how I viewed Mikel Arteta was an experience I had with him as a player at Arsenal.
“It was at a time when we weren’t making the top four. We had training in 30 minutes and he locked all the players in the dressing room, as if he was the manager. He was taking control of the whole space and telling us how it is. In that moment it was like he was the manager, and that was the turning point for me. That’s when I thought he could go on to be a manager.
“Arsène Wenger was waiting for us to come outside for training but we weren’t coming out because Mikel stopped the training session. He was such a strong character that even Arsène was afraid of him.” |

oliverano: They're very different lol
I judge players based on eye test and their stats. With that on ground, Roque is better for now.
Roque is currently clear of Guui. Roque was a starter in Brazil with Parathnes and was arguably their best player. If Barca didn't rush him here, he would've made the Brazil Copa squad. He was in top form at the time.
I like him(Guui) and wanted him to be the sub before we bought Roque that's because he has the physique/eye for goal to be a top 9 like Lewy but hasn't shown enough. With the B team(3rd division) he's a bench player. Pau Victor and Diego Percan are ahead of him but he's got more potential than both though. You'll only understand this paragraph if you follow Barca Athletic.
Guui was shuffling between juvenile A, Barca B and the Barca first team.
I have nothing against him but with Lewy and a 40m player in Roque, Guui was always going to be the third choice striker. Leaving Barca was a good choice and nothing against Chelsea but I wish he joined a team like Dortmund or Ajax for better development. We have seen players come from another league to Barcelona and still couldn't perform. Right now, I would place both in the same class because they have not really shown enough promise. Guiu should have been sent on loan instead. We can't bank on the Lewa next season and when you consider our financial situation, it makes sense to cut costs as much as possible. |

Natalia isn't better than Cubarsi or Faye. Guui for all his ability isn't better than Roque.
Lamasia will continue to Masia and will keep producing good talents to complement the first team.
My own issue is Gbeco scouting players for other teams. It's becoming a trend. Guiu is not better than Roque? Both ain't different in my opinion. |

Declan Rice on James McClean saying he’s ‘overrated’:
“Do you know what? I played with James for Ireland for three games and I got on with him really well. I am not going to sit here and slag him off. I thought he was a really top guy. When I left Ireland to come to England, I heard a few things he was obviously not happy about. He made comments a few years ago.
“It is what it is. I am not going to sit here and say anything about him. He’s had a great career himself – I think he is coming to the end of his career now and he’s got over a hundred caps for Ireland.
“It would be easy for me to sit here and say something back to him but, like I said, we are at opposite ends of our careers now – he’s 35 and I’m 25.
“I’ve known him, I’ve played with him, he’s entitled to his opinion and I’ve had to fight a load of those opinions from other people before.”
This is classy from Rice. |

But he's still young tho, so there's still hope for growth and development for his game There was a game where he missed two penalties. That really dented his confidence. I think he kinda lost his place in the starting lineup. I'm not sure. BTW, he scored for USA in Copa America this morning |

chuks404: this thing is clear cut. Papers had it that osihmen was mentioned. Why not clarify it before the mess happened? See no matter how you see it, osimhen is the apoty, yes his responses were wrong (anger issue plus being disappointed by what the coach said) but Finidi not saying anything is a big question mark. Exonerating him for not debunking the rumours is gross imbalance. This same man asked to be allowed to support his teammates, what was the coache's response? When you treat issue, balance is important. There are deeper things in this matter we may not know. People are clamoring for white coaches, why, they respect themselves. Was it not the same Finidi that was calling a player 'oboi' (if I am not mistaken) in the video training clip that was shared here. What happened to his name It tells how these people act. No body dey feed anyone. You earn your respect. If you are a father, act like one The bolded already put an end to the discussion. This is about Osimhen, and not Finidi. |
