Joebie: Tomorrow any team can win. But when it comes to this question you need to be objective. Look at it both ways.
Modified If Nigeria were in their shoes. Having lost the first game by a slim margin, in front of our fans and have had a fairytale run so far with revenge now in our minds. Will we really be under pressure? There will be pressure bro. CIV wouldn't want to lose the second time so they would do everything to win. |

Joebie: It will be down to who really wants it. At this stage who really has a psychological edge? 1. The pressure is on CIV as they're the host. 2. We have beaten them in the group stage so we might have a very slight psychological edge. 3. We have the better and maybe a complete team. Just saying |

I don't think there's anything they can do about it. Afterall nobody forced arsenal and Liverpool to drop points unnecessarily They should give them space make Dem play that game in hand before we move. |

Late call-up: Ethiopia’s Bamlak Tessema Weyesa will now officiate the third-place game between South Africa and DR Congo tonight after Morocco’s Redouane Jiyed protested to officiate Sunday’s final match instead.
Jiyed‘s protest didn't go down well with CAF’s Referees Committee.

Jodera: Abeg we need to win our match tomorrow oo.
We need to stay tight at that top as long as possible. Man city don enter time of that year wey dem go do their wicked run of form And they usually have that game or games in hand. The FA needs to do something about it. It gives them a little psychological edge. Why must they be the only team having a game in hand? I know why though but there should be something they can do about it. |

lordofstrings: Iwobi's problem have always been man marking, though it's not his primary objective but it's an added advantage just the way Moses Simon does it
But Iwobi at Everton was very good at defending. Maybe the coach told him to leave defending and focus on creating chances. Who knows Maybe it has to do with his past experience. You remember that red card against Tunisia? Man have been too careful this tourney. |

Jodera: If really we agreed to get Toney on loan, why didn't we get him. I mean, you yourself told me we still have allowable 100m to spend In this ffp matter, so with or without Partey, we would still have gotten Toney (even if it's on loan).
Abi no be so? Brentford raised the price. They reneged from the previous agreement made in the summer. I guess they saw our desperation. |

Jodera: I still doubted this Toney deal for January sha.
And I don't know but even if Partey was available, I doubt Arteta would have had him sold this January esp with the nations cup holding plus Arteta really hoping to win the league.
In summary, I just believe it's rumor mills all these things sha It is not. The deal for Toney didn't start this January. Both Raya and Toney's deal were worked on in the summer. Unfortunately, we could only settle for loan due to FFP. So the plan was to let Partey go this January, make Raya's deal permanent and get Toney on loan. Unfortunately, Partey got injured at the last moment. Toney himself has been dropping some hints during his ban. |

Odunayaw: VAR wasn't incorrect. Again, the responsibility is on the fan. In fact it becomes absurd to argue when such a fan has an underlying health condition. I just tire.... It is a matter of how far a fan can go with the match. Not like VAR was wrong sef. Man be mentioning our environment as if no be the same football we have been watching all these years. What if the fans that died have underlying health issue. |

Goke7: you can't understand because our environment is differently run from the way things work elsewhere. Which environment you dey talk about sef? The WC final was even more tense. Was it played in 'our environment'? It is a personal choice to watch the match or not. Nobody forced anybody. |

Goke7: The issue is did the VAR decision trigger anything for the individual? If a car hit somebody will you say what if the person has a prior health issue?
Like I said earlier we see things differently in our clime. I’ve watched some foreign media and they can’t fathom that dramatic VAR decision. It’s the rule but the human impact can’t be ruled out in other environments . The car example is a different scenario. Those deceased (RIP) were not the only ones watching the match. VAR and the ref were just doing their job. Moreso, they were not forced to watch the match. |

Goke7: It’s in Africa we think like this, in the western world with these deaths happening an investigation will be conducted and once it’s established that the deaths are connected to the VAR decision, the rule will be adjusted. Especially when families of those who died begin to go to court to sue FIFA or whoever invented VAR. By the time they pay so much for damages nobody will need to them to change the damn rule. How? Not like the ref was wrong. Even without VAR, something of such can happen. I'm not trying to justifying anything but it is a matter of if your mind can't carry am, don't bother watching. What if one of the deceased already has an health issue prior to the match? |

But last night I was not spared. Living in a bandit state sef never gave me that much shake emotionally. That world cup final, I switched off my phone immediately Mbappe scored the second goal.
