Danielnino00: Update: MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja didn't pass CAF inspection mark to host the next rounds of the AFCONQ.. Only Uyo stadium did... Our next game will be at Uyo stadium, most likely...
I think Uyo stadium is among the stadium to host the NPFL super 6 and the other Super 8 tournament.. it might be overused before our next game there Super 6 would be played in Lagos. |

TBH, Arteta did a great job. However, when you're almost there, you have to be there anyway anyhow.
You have to do everything possible to be there. Sadly, he didn't do enough at the required time. |

I don talk am tire, any arsenal fan who believe we overachieve this season has a questionable mindset. I know some might start with the mentality excuse but you don't just build a winning mentality ordinarily. You build a winning mentality by doing the unthinkable (the other one). Looking at the scenario that made us bottle the league, it is laughable man. Not that we were playing the big teams back to back or playing in another competitions that may lead to fatigue. FFS, we drew against Southampton at the Emirates, lost a two-goal lead against Liverpool and Westham. We faced another contender and we were outplayed completely. And you want me to believe we overachieve this season. Nah Arteta would be on his way out of the club by now if Abrahimovic is our CEO. We are bottlers...an honorable one. |

codemaniacs: its not about tricks... Lukaku does it alot.. runs diagonally from the right into the box then scores and since he is tall and big he doesn't need tricks because it will be difficult to tackle him and push him off the ball, other players will fall down looking for the foul...
Boniface can play from the flanks on both wings, from the goals I just watched on Youtube he can operate on both wings..
put Osimhen on the right, put Boniface on the Left, then put Awoniyi in the center then Orban behind Awoniyi and you have a deadly attack. Omo... I'll just advise you to stick to watching football. Stop analysing abeg... wetin be this? 4 strikers? in the same lineup? |

Kwashiman: We have to hold on to the Osimhen generation and hope some of the British-Nigerian kids like Eze, Oliseh etc decide to play for Nigeria.. cause as it stands now I see a generational talent drought in Nigerian football that might take years to fix, we just can't produce talented players anymore from our youth systems. Senegal will dominate African football for a very very very long time. I don't think so bro...some of these kids will likely be in Europe in few years time. Not qualifying for World cup doesn't mean they won't make it. I don't think there can ever be a drought of talent. |

Danielnino00: Personally,I rate KDB very highly...he is ome player I wish we had in our team...But he doesn't really look like the kind of player that influence the success of bis team such that he is indispensable..I mean even in that Man City team,if he isn't available they can do just fine with Gudogan, Bernardo, Rodri... Anyway, when he eventually retires, his name will surely be mentioned among the greats... You have said it all bro. That 'influence' is exactly the Koko. |

andrew444: You don’t need to be on zidane or iniesta level before you are being considered great
Just take a look at you trying to downplay kdb greatness with the likes of Leeds and wolves ,let’s all pretend that he isn’t performing well against big teams
You need luck with national team Nobody is downplaying KDB. You didn't follow the argument from the beginning. Comparing Zidane with KDB was the origin of this argument. KDB is good, very good. one of the most intelligent midfielders in the world. But he has not done anything to be rated alongside the like of Zidane, Iniesta, Xavi and Ronnie. I agree you need luck with the national team. Infact, not the national team alone. But then luck or not, your impact should be visible which can't be said of KDB. Argentina lost 3 Copa America finals but everybody was aware of his impact. |

andrew444: Kdb doesn’t need to win anything with his country before you acknowledge his greatness
National team football needs luck at times Whether you agree or not, a lot of factors will be considered before a player can be recognized as one of the greats. National team achievements will always be considered. Mere statpadding against the like of Leeds and Wolves and hiding when it matter most in the national team won't get KDB among the like of Zidane and Iniesta. |

Danielnino00: POV: You're asked to compile a list of the top 10 greatest midfielders of the 21st century, regardless of which position or role they played in midfield. Would KDB make your list?
My personal list in no particular order would be:
Zidane Ronaldinho Modric Xavi Iniesta Pirlo Gerrard Lampard Scholes Kaka
CC: Thegoodjoe, I'd like to see yours It takes a whole lot to be counted as one of the best. The KDB we're talking about here, what are the personal recognitions he has won in recent times both at club and the national team? What of his performance for his country? These are the criteria IMO. Scholes and Lampard are his only mates in this list. TBH, I didn't watch much of scholes so I can't really say who is better. As for Lampard, both are on par IMO. |

daveP: I know that. But the fact he set Modric there too shows he doesn't think anything great will come from that angle .
If na chuks dey dat wing, game over
Grealish get pr cos he's the only top club English winger in Europe right now. I'd prefer a Rashford hype to him anyday. I'm glad tweeps are calling out the bias of the commentators yesternight. City were outplayed tactically to me. They block the center to make them use the wings where absolutely alert fullbacks are. The 2 times madrid dozed off, rodri and kdb got shots down the centre. Pep has to change Haaland role so he can be more involved in play in 2nd half. Etihad will be tougher. Can't believe basic 1!2 passes cracked City. We await the second leg...
