See what Don Carlo is doing with his team against pep. Camavinga at LB and Modric just a few yards away asif he is LB2. Using basic one two passes to upset the man City structure as city are one team that don't know how to stop the ball on counters. And the so called LB naim give assist

I know Cama sabi tackle. But him at LB is prove that Carlo no rate Bernado as a winger. That's just it. If na Mahrez now, Vinga go get wahala small. Grealish just dey chop foul upandan. The Germans mean themselves tonight. If Gundogan injure lasan, wahala for Pep.
Cama has been playing as a LB for sometime now so it is not a matter of Don Carlo underrating Silva. Pep and City just happen to jam a good team.
That Grealish eh, I just h.ate am. He dives too much...dude will wait for you to challenge him for the ball and immediately fall. That's so infuriating.

He should and leave in January. He deserves ucl minutes inside emirates. Leverkusen are having a good run in europa sha. I prefer they win
Yea... Unfortunately, he might leave before then. Funny enough, we stopped playing UCL after we signed him.

We get many backup strikers like this sha.

Use Jesus for ucl and let Nketiah and Balogun fight for epl minutes OR use Jesus in epl and let him come on as sub in ucl.

To make this work without backlash, we'll need one experienced winger like Vinicius and one new LM.

Or we sell and buy another taller striker to help our cross and nod ministry.
No bro... We can't bank on Nketiah and Balogun as backups for UCL. It is better we get a proven striker. Jesus sef is not that reliable. We need striker.

I'll disagree with your last paragraph to some extent... Remember he was amazing at Wolfsburg.....with City, things are much easier for him... But he is definitely nowhere near the class of Zidane
I know...KDB is quality. My statement might be a bit off but you should be able to understand what I'm trying to pass across.
Pep has been able to redefine KDB's role and set up the team tactically...both of which KDB is capitalizing on now. Man is now scoring and assisting more.

The only midfielder that is almost the same with zizou is he’s fellow country man Platini

Zizou was the second coming of Platini
When you're watching Zidane, you're watching Benardo Silva, Gundogan and KDB rolled into one. grin grin grin

KDB's popularity has a lot to do with Pep's brilliance than his own personal quality sef.

If we serious eh, Na Oshimen we suppose break bank for this summer. En no go pass 120m and he is still young. The guy over fit arsenal style of play and will not be hard to even convince.
To sign Osimhen no be beans bro..we must have at least 150m

I'm surprised we didn't grab Isak o. Osimhen no go bad. We won't need to really use sleekness to transition if Osimhen is in the team. Plus cross and nod go return to this team. It's only for corner kicks we do cross and not right now.
Isak? Nah.... Better we let Balogun stay

Arsenal will be unplayable next season. Whatever the outcome of this one, the ginger that they'll see both highs and disappointing lows in crucial times of this season will make them unplayable like City. Reinforcement will help. Especially players that can trouble City if we play with them. We need to prioritize that kind of recruiting. I dunno why Pundits have really been putting floodlights on Ivan Toney as a good buy for Arsenal sha. Been seeing it from tabloids too.

The 3 teams that ruined this season for us with draws go hearam too.

But City are siblings with success. Omo!!
grin grin
City didn't just get here overnight. I hope to see us attain this height too.

Toney is similar to Jesus...we need a tall striker

Yes

Anytime Osimhen score, he gestures as of he is writing something. He reportedly writes the later H; an initial for his daughter's name.
That's nice really but I'm afraid his partner may one day demand 70% of his networth as child support. You get?

Your submission lacks context.

Osimhen has obviously gone to great lengths to keep his private life private, but his relationship with the lady probably dates back to his time in Germany at the worst time in his career. The lady even has a daughter for him so I really do not think it's recent.
Did you just say a daughter? Haaaa God abeg.

It is because you guys are looking for leg overs.

We are talking of stats proving how De Bruyne is a far more effective player than Zidane.

You want to rate guys statistically worse than Zidane ahead of De Bruyne. That tells the whole story of you guys naivety when it concerns football impact.

Finito.
Iniesta or KDB?

One of Arteta's best game so far tactical-wise.
Ode and Jorginho steadily serving me a big L. I will gladly swallow it though.
I particularly like the first goal. A combination of tactical awareness and technicality. Jorginho and Saka delaying their passes was a bait. As soon as Joelington moved in, Ode was free and Jorginho did the needful.

BTW, 200 years for that ref... I was surprised Newcastle escaped a red card today.

It is obvious. His small stature makes Ugbade doubts if he can handle the physical aspect of plays in the tournament but I believe Ugbade should take a long hard look at his decision again after seeing another small boy of similar stature to Olowoporoku, called Siyabonga Mabena of SA wreck havoc against physically superior lads in the game.

It isn't all about size alone. Brains and speed help and Olowoporoku has both.
I agree with you. Actually, players with small stature can be stubborn. Silva, Bernardo, Messi, Cazorla, Mata. Infact, they stand a high chance of winning FKs and even penalties. grin

If Ugbade is being technically honest with himself and with this team, our starting midfield in the KOs should be Owoyemi/Linus/Olowoporoku. Tochukwu Ogbabido has his moments but he seriously needs to be dropped as he kills our plays more often than he contributes in the middle and in the final third. His possession loss Stats are possibly the worst in the team.

Olowoporoku's workrate off the ball was also well noted. Lad doesn't wait for the ball to come to him. He goes where the ball is and isn't afraid to have the ball. That right there is a Baller and he is the youngest in the team. Insane talent he is.

His on-the-ball quality is obvious. I am glad he got some minutes so folks can see what I have been saying on the lad.

#MDU17AfconDiaries
I don't know why Olowoporoku is not being given enough minute. From his brief cameo, his quality shown. He should start the next match. Linus will shield the defense, okowo will be the distributor and ball carrier while Owoyemi will supply the energy.
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by mostob(m): 10:40pm On May 06, 2023
Light Eke is a baller...very intelligent lad. How I wish that ball had went in... He should start the next match together with Agada.

Olowoporoku is a better MF than Owoyemi and Okadigbo. His little cameo was enough to spot his uniqueness on the ball.

Linus might be the next big star of this team. However, Ugbade needs to give him a new role. Let him sit in front of the defence rather than moving around. He need to polish his shootings though.

Lawali is quite athletic but he needs to be smart. He should know when to attack and when to defend.

For the first time in a while, a Nigerian GK impressed me. I hope and pray Odoh doesn't end up like Dele.

Mikel Obi is the standard for cerebral midfielders in Nigeria, close to JJ Okocha, if you watch Light Eke closely you can easily tell he's a prime Mikel Obi type of player...the version of Mikek I'm talking about is the one that shone like a million stars at the U20 tournament
Come o, which Light Eke? No way he is similar to Mikel. They're two different players.

I think Randy would have given Nicole Payne the opportunity to grow in that Right Back position as that’s her main position.. Just as he has done with Imuran.

Randy barely plays Nicole in the Right Back position, Always from the Left wing which is her alternative position.. Not that she’s good with both feet’s,
Even with Nicole, we still need a backup which we can't boast of currently.
