No it's in our hands we are currently 4 points ahead having played a game more than city.
If we best soton and manage to get a point at Etihad then we will be 7 points ahead with 2 games ahead of city, that will shift the pressure to city to win their outstanding then hope we drop points
City still have Brighton and Brentford to play away
We have Newcastle and city away
It's in our hands anyway you look at it we must beat soton on friday
I no go doubt you bro.
But can you confidently say we will beat City?

This is emotions talking. League still dey our hand.

We just need to do what we always intended to do which is to win all our matches and draw Man city.

Mathematically, league is still in our hands!
Today's draw didn't change the fact
Jodera...I like to be realistic when it comes to Arsenal's matter.
Everybody is allowed to believe but me..I don comot mind.

The only good thing is that everything is still in our hands. We have a more difficult run of games to finish the season in comparison to City and that worries me. We play Southampton on Friday, we have to get maximum points and hope we can regain some confidence heading into the game against City.
Let's talk true and shame the devil. Nothing dey our hand again. Our draw against Liverpool made it a tie. Losing another two points today kinda seal the title for City.

So what is an 8? There is nothing like a false 9 in football. A false 9 is a tactical creation that occurs when you use a winger/midfielder/SS to play as a top 9 without a SS. You categorizing Messi, Muller, Firminho, Mane under the same position shows your lack of football knowledge. lol! I am done!.
8 is a CM that usually operates as a B2B.
Lukaku, Ibrahimovic, Lewandowski, Aboubakar, Onuachu, Osimehn, Diego Costa, Benzema /// Firminho, Messi, Muller, Mane.
Can you differentiate between these two groups of attackers?

Define a striker for me. Arguing with you guys is like pouring water into a basket! Thank God you said you don't know ball.
Whilst a 9 is generally the main striker and a 10 is the secondary striker, a false 9 is a combination of both . The false 9 has the freedom to drop deep from the forward position into midfield, allowing them to receive the ball deeper in the pitch and creating space to allow the midfield or wide players to run into. Mane, Messi, Muller, Firminho are not strikers, they're false nine

From his utterances since his moniker surfaced on this thread, you can tell what kind of person he is... Let him tag Messi a striker na...since Messi under Guardiola was one of those who made the false 9 role so popular
I think he doesn't understand the meaning of versatility. Mane has played as a forward yea, but that doesn't make him a striker. I still think he is an old member of this thread who change moniker.

dts my understanding of his post
Sane is Black.

What he meant is that Osimehn get small temper. The altercation that happened between Mane and Sane was because of utterance. Imagine Osimehn shouting (like he did against GUB) during the game, Dem fit throw blows.

If he put his hands on Waldrum he must go but if it was just a argument, they'll get over it. I didn't feel there was any beef between the 2. U could even hear the Nigerian coach passionately defending Randy at the end when they said he made an extra Substitution.

For me the real story is the coach that wasn't there. Would Randy have made the same decisions with her presence? I think the Nigerian coaches need to be talked about because this proves without a doubt that they bring something to the table. It was just Randy and them and they got it done.
Wow... excellent observation Basco. How come we have been getting results without that Grandma in the team?
I didn't even notice.

I'll still love Ify to go to wwc. She deserves a spot on the plane. Like this lady wan die the next day after she miss pk. She was moody inside swimming pool

The truth is our WC campaigns, the last two, na only Oshoala get pace that threatens opponents. Our tempo is not among top 20. If we can just switch it, there'll be a few casualties.

I'm rating the irish o. They are really physical and have a good goalie. Just not threatening up front. We should get 3points without slacking at the back. Defensive errors has caused 6goals in last two Wwc for us.

As For Oshoala,i dunno. Looks like she's a 60min player. Ajibade is 65. What they offer after this time is just not good enough especially as they don't even have power to defend again. Esp not to risk injury that will deflate our attacking flair.
I'll take Kanu as the 3rd CF as well as a backup on the wing (even a starter sef)
Onumonu can sit down abeg...

This squad is loaded, i hope Randy can pick the best for each position per time.
No way Ucheibe sit on the bench. One of Jenny or Tony will have to make way. BTW, Ayinde won't be available for our first two games so that practically sort itself.

My take on the match, note i did not watch the whole game:-
1) Desire still has a lot to offer, Onumonu has not been too impressive since WAFCON. That goal showed it. her hold up plays are good, and she made some really good passes in both games. Also, Desire can help with direct free kicks, something i think Plumptre has also, they both have a connon in their legs. We must look for different ways to score goals.
2) Ajibade should be dropped to the bench please, we have too much talent go through this. This is not a ball juggling contest, pass the damn ball.....She also missed those opportunities before Desire scored. Esther should replace her upfront, Desire should pushed back to the starting line up with Asisat and Esther, till Ajibade shows up again, she can use the bench.
3) Immoran and Demehin are settling in good, Alozie also had a nice game. Also happy for Onyi, she is growing.
Please what does Desire weigh/ cool cool cool cool cool, that lady she fell on could not stand up. grin grin grin grin grin grin
You noticed it too. grin grin grin
It will take about a week before that girl can get herself. Next time, she no go dey contest ball with someone twice her size.
Desire is probably the biggest in that squad.
