Jodera: Footballers lose ball every now and then and the breakaway counter was already dealt with by arsenal.
Immediately he lost the ball, Spurs was on a counter through Son and the ball fell to Richarlison. If Richarlison have scored that goal with that breakaway counter, I would have blamed Saka but Gabriel cleared the ball out as Richarlison crossed the ball and the ball fell to Xhaka. Once that ball fell to free Xhaka, we're now in possession and Saka is now free of any blame. But Xhaka made a mess of it with that poor ball control giving Richarlison another advantage and then Gabriel completed the howler.
I don't see how that it's any of Saka fault tbh Ok sha |

But seriously speaking the league can't be effectively over by October? I mean who will stop City? Liverpool is out of it, Arsenal is trying but will most likely still drop, Chelsea still figuring out their best team before they can think of mounting a serious challenge, Tottenham not strong enough to challenge for the title, Man U still look some seasons of the pace.
When we were warning EPL fanboys about Pep they doubled down on the fraud talk. Now the fraud warn turn EPL to carpenters league farm sef still better. Are you a United fan bro? The bolded is contradictory |

To think City played without a DM today. Like they practically open the door and United no fit pass.
Arteta should be flogged for losing against Man Utd. |

Deltamani: Many people leave Nigeria occasionally to search for greener pastures overseas. A good number of them start their families abroad, but don't forget to teach their children about their root. One of the results of teaching these children about their root is the zeal to want to represent their fatherland in the future.
1. Ashley Antoni Akpan
Ashanti was born to a Nigerian father and Polish mum in February 2004, she grew up in England and is eligible to represent the three countries. On her Instagram page, these 3 countries are on a display, but Nigeria comes first.
Even though the Chelsea player currently represents England at the youth level, she's been seen casually wearing the Nigerian jersey. Ash, who won the FA Cup last season, is still eligible to represent Nigeria.
2. Vicky Lopez
Vicky and Ashanti have some things in common, aside the fact that they were born in Europe and follow the Super Eagles on social media, the two of them are gifted with technique, pace, and the ability to dazzle their opponents. Just like Ashanti, Nigeria also comes before Spain in her social media profile.
Vicky was born in Spain, the Barcelona youngster currently captains the Spanish Under-17 side but is still eligible to represent the Super Falcons.
Would you like to see these two play for the Super Falcons? the former's position sir...? |

Jodera: in what way? After dribbling the 2 Spurs players, 5 arsenal players were open including White(leaving Son behind) yet he chose to dribble and lost the ball. His selfishness was what put the team under pressure because we were out of shape. If he had made a simple pass, I'm sure they wouldn't have break (through Son who was unmarked). |

BlueRayDick: As early as 6.30am today I still watched the replay of the match on Dstv channel 203 and all I saw was Xhaka losing the ball due to his loose touch in the box thereby causing the penalty .
Anybody who plays ball and has understanding of football will know that Richarlison was going to shield the ball at that point he won the ball back due to Xhaka’s loose touch . At that point there’s nothing Gabriel can do, he either engages ( which obviously will be a foul cos Richarlison will shield the ball and only his leg will be there for the taking ) or he abstains from tackling will mean Richarlison will have a free pass through our defence
If anybody would disregard Xhaka’s miscue prior to the goal and focus completely on Gabriel , it speaks nothing but agenda .
Even the commentator mentioned it when the penalty was to be taken that Xhaka’s loose control in such area of the field is dangerous and would always have consequence especially when u play against a Tottenham that parades Kane, Richarlison and Son upfront. Thank you. The bolded is exactly why I said Gabriel shouldn't take all the fault. If he had left Richarlison and Spurs scored, some would still blame him for not challenging Richarlison for the ball. |

Jodera: I'm not entirely letting go of Xhaka sha cos he had a blame in that goal too.
Xhaka very poor ball control(or was it a poor pass) in that dangerous area was the very reason Richarlison won that ball again in the box which later resulted in the penalty. Gabriel was mostly at fault but it very well started with Xhaka Saka sef share the blame. |

The match was somehow to me. I was expecting us to score more immediately after the red card unfortunately some selfishness in he box cost us. Ramsdale was impressive today though I kinda miss the old Ramsdale wey dey bring crazy vibe come field 8/10White was white today. Very tidy and hard to pass by. He might have been angered by Saka's selfishness today. 7/10Saliba , to say he was superb today will be an understatement. A middle finger for that ref for penalising him. Shey the guy no chop come field ni . 8/10Gabriel conceded a needless penalty but the most of the fault still go to Xhaka and Saka. Nice turnover for that 3rd goal. 7/10Zinchenko didn't perform as I expected today. He won some headers against Richarlison today though which is kinda impressive. I love the way he celebrated that Xhaka goal. His passion is something worth commending. 6/10Partey ehn....no much talk. His goal will be giving Lloris nightmare for some days 9/10Xhaka was impressive too. His only negative was that penalty we conceeded. An outright clearance was the better idea instead of losing the ball to Richarlison. Before he took that shot, I knew Lloris stood no chance. This is not the Xhaka we know... imagine this guy petting Richarlison when the latter wanna fight..that doesn't sound Xhaka to me. 8/10Saka was surprisingly selfish today but what a thunderous shot for that 2nd goal. He might be playing to instruction but his decision making sometimes are questionable. 7/10Martinelli has changed from that lightweight guy last two seasons to a brutish, bullish, confident and technical player. His decision making today was kinda off. Somebody should help us count the number of dribbles he completed. 8/10Jesus is a proper 9 we have been longing for. His goal was a result of persistence which is commendable. And that dribble in the first half, oh my...so sumptuous . He should have won a penalty in the second half when he was tripped. A middle finger to the ref on that one too 9/10Nketiah is a perfect like for like replacement for Jesus IMO. The way he carried that defender trabaye toward the ending of the match is a proof. 5/10Sambi is a perfect Wenger type of player. He came in and kept everything tidy. I still think we're being unfair to this guy. Partey's form is not giving him a breathing space too. 5/10Vieira didn't influence the match the way I expected but he kept everything tidy too. 5/10 Tomiyasu didn't play enough to fully rate him. |
