Oldboss: Maurizio Sarri revealing as far back as in 2019 that the 26-year-old tends to experience stomach cramps before games out of sheer nervousness, this was What Sorry said and it happened during FA cup final I just pray it won't happen when we play vardrid Thank you boss. But does this make him a poor defender? No But some things like this needs to be considered especially on a day he is the team's last resort as far as defence is concerned. That is my point. |

BlaqFaze: He missed the Barca game because he has ill...stop believing all these media hypes and lies.
How did you know it's because of mental issues he missed the fa cup match...that stupid rumour came out because he had already agreed a deal to sign for Barca
Barca will never sign a player with question marks I don't know why you're making this a big deal. It's just what I've noticed about him. At the bolded, how do both correlate? How did agreeing a deal with Barca stopped him from playing a final match? Just so you know, he claimed to be ill too that morning of the FA cup final matchday. Sarri also complained of him being nervous and having stomach cramp before matches. Imagine we have pique and Christensen fit for a match but he got nervous and decided not to play that match. |

jpmoriarti: Did he have disorder when he played them in the first leg? I'm not referring to that Bayern game alone. I'm talking of long term reliability. It's something I've read about him. He pulled out of Chelsea's FA cup final match last season due to anxiety. Sarri also mentioned something similar about him. Infact, there was a match Barca played early this season (a final of some sort) which he missed due to the same reason. |

Jodera: Lol, you should know Partey is African. Born and bred in Africa. Played in African club before heading to athletico, had some loan before breaking into the first team
My point for all these things is that him done old, so it's old age that's showing now that he's claiming 29yrs. In fact, he's not injury prone in la Liga as he missed only 6 games in his years in athletico.
I'm just grateful he's giving us world class performances consistently. All he just needs is for arsenal to manage him properly and have correct person on standby to play when he's not available, reason why I'm against him being sold.
Him quality dey very very hard to find You're right sha |

I'm not worried We can't rely on Christensen. He has something similar to anxiety disorder (not sure). He might develop blood pressure just by having the thought of playing Bayern. I hope you understand me |

fabyom: Iwobi and Nwakali do mark now. Go watch their games. Also, it depends on the coach's tactical prowess. Football has evolved. One of the CB can step into the midfield to support. The wingbacks can also slide into the midfield to add more bodies since the formation allows for natural wingers to dominate on the wings. like you said, It can only work with 3 at the back formation with one of the defenders (Ndidi) stepping into midfield Or in a Midfield 3. But currently in the 442 JP is using, it can never work against a top team. Being defensive is not just about marking sir. Both are somewhat DLPs, they need a DM beside them to function properly. |

codemaniacs: You didn't mention any DM so I assumed your forward players will be Simon osimhen moffi chukwueze and your midfield will be nwakali and iwobi with no DM then aina omeruo ajayi bassey in defense. That's what I assumed.
Due to the people and coaches Currently managing Nigerian football it's impossible to have starting midfield four. I was actually countering the opinion. I was not the one who opined the idea. Check who I quoted again please |

codemaniacs: I understand your post and I'm also talking of a lineup. I'm not sure you understand. If not, why would you say I'm used to a lean midfield? Isn't Nwakali and Iwobi a lean Midfield? BTW, playing Iwobi, nwakali, Ndidi and Onyedika as a Midfield 4? Well, it's not impossible. |

codemaniacs: Your problem is you're used to the lean midfield Nigerian coaches use.
Nigeria should have a starting midfield four of iwobi nwakali Ndidi onyedika while bonke onyeka alhassan-yusuf etebo should be on the bench..
For Nigeria to be successful at least 7 midfielders should always be called up. I don't think you understand my post. Oga Fan want us to have a Midfield of Nwakali and Iwobi in a 442 against Algeria! We're talking of a lineup here not the general squad. |

fabyom: Alhassan will flop in Super Eagles. I have watched him play. I don't see him fit the profile of a National team player. However, Nwakali will excel in JP system. He is the type of DM/CM he needs. Can pass, shoot and dribble. I would have loved to see Nwakali and Iwobi's midfield 2 against Algeria. You can't have a Midfield duo of Iwobi and Nwakali especially against a top team like Algeria. Both of them are not so good defensively which means our midfield will be an expressway. Infact, Iwobi and Etebo played well because Sao Tome was a lesser team. |

TheSuperNerd: Alhassan won't flop. He is brainier than several of our midfield players in the middle game. He won't flop. And you obviously haven't watched him enough. You need to take your time to watch him without bias before making statements that won't age well.
Alhassan is better than Frank Onyeka both from tactical and technical points of views and we need that compared to a lad whose main attribute is running around, covering grounds like a headless work merchant.
And K.Nwakali will definitely fit right in and a midfield of himself and Iwobi is indeed tactically feasible sir super analyst, explain this please. I want to learn |

Deltamani: Tony Payne can actually slot in the Right Back position if the need arises and Alozie moved to the bench, Desire Oparanozie is more a sure banker as her return will kick Maclean’s out going by experience too. Ify is Randy favourite Striker, he would even try dropping her last last he would only bench her except injury that can result to her dropping..
Monday Gift to come in for who? Peace Efih for who? Toni is too intelligent to be playing as a FB for us. Ify being Randy's favourite is not helping matters. The CF position needs to be thrown open. Going to World cup with Desire and Ify as the strikers will not be a nice decision. Okobi can always make way for Efih. |

Jodera: This our defence ehh, na strong roadblock. Ivan Toney run sotey him tire. Mbeumo run sotey my guy eye turn am. Speed, Jam-body, ruggedity, those guys go Man up to you.
Plus the fact that Partey no dey even give space for their Midfielders to dey throw correct pass, instead na hopeless pass into space, you go understand why the duo of Toney and Mbeumo frustrate today You don talk am finish. As Jesus dey lead the press in front, Partey dey block their midfielders and then there are Saliba and Gabby in defence. If at all the opponent manage to pass these people, there is Rammy at the back. I really wish our B team could be at least half as efficient as the main team Turner Tomiyasu Holding Cedric Tierney Elneny Lokonga Vieira ESR Nketiah Marquinhos There is still Nelson who I still think is better as a winger than ESR |
