![]() Ask4bigneyo: really appreci8 ur post... Thank you very much!UWC. Wish u success. See u at d top. |
quote author=Ask4bigneyo]Pls aous... How do i apply for dis job?
Although its funny u are asking this question at this time but if u are sincerely asking, then b informed that the application stage for this NIS recruitment is officially closed. We are awaiting shortlisted candidates' list for aptitude test. Unless ............................... I believe anytin can happen in this Nigeria even if the recruitment excerise has been concluded. |
[quote author=Mannastoress) Thank God. Case closed. As a biz person, just apologise to him for any embarassment, not because he is right but d future nd those around him whom might b privy to what happened to get other busniesses in d future. Like its being said, we agree to disagree nd disagree to agree. My 1 naira advise though. Anyway best of luck. |
Well let assume ur story is true, what's is d evidence of sale? Ur action is far too drastic. A yoruba proverb says" when there is an insect on one's private part especially on one's scrotum, u don't use a sledge hammer to kill it". U ve to b tactical or else u hurt urself while trying to kill it. I quite sympathize wit ur ordeal in d hands of Mr Emeka Nwosu but 2months is a relative short time to ve taken such drastic action which could b detrimental to his career. If u are a real biz person, have u not heard of making allowance for bad debt, even CBN mandates banks to make provision for bad debt immediately a loan is granted to customers by banks. Well if u make such drastic action just for 15K for 2months, I wonder what u wld ve done to Nigeria if u were the world bank. If u are ready for a "show down" wit d banker in collecting ur money which at d end of it all cld result in d guy loosing his job, what if he then looses his job, do u tink he will pay ur money since he cldn't pay it when he still had d job? What if he denies he didn't ve any dealings of being in debt wit u? Dats if there is no evidence of mr Emeka being in debt I.e no postdated cheque in lieu of repayment, invoice etc nd u dent his image nd he goes ahead nd sue u for slander, libel nd defamation of character which can b in hundred of thousands or millions? These are questions u need to ask urself nd find out the best possible way to get ur money back because dats is of paramount to u rite now. I will suggest u call d attention of any of his reasonable friends or close colleaques, discuss wit d person(s) and let dem advise u on how dey can help u collect ur money after which if noting comes out, u can now call d attention of his immediate boss but not thru making it official as u did above. Thanks |
dybaba: @Bigdream thanks.Pls forward to me too. My email is kinsbay@yahoo.com. Thanks nd God bless. |
@ Oluwacolded, pls how long wld it take to get d past questions paper across to one's email addy once payment is made to u? Then how wld u Juxtapose d person dat made pymt nd d email addy of such person? For instance, some pple's name is diff frm deir email addy. Thanks |
Olutola88: thanks 4 ur contribution. I don't think I av much 2 do as regard my assignment. 1. My hands are clean 2. I don't think the bank will have anything against me 3. I feel freezing a customer's account should something very sensitive and shouldn't just be done anyhow( do they think all customers are unaware of their rights?). In conclusion, I think I won't lose out on dis. The only thing I'm sensing is that I might be asked 2 present an evidence that my account was frozen at one point or the other. Thanksurwc. If dat b d case, u can write a letter of complaint addressed to the branch manager nd get an acknowleged copy frm the branch nd if after 48 hrs u didn't get a response as regards the letter, u can write them a reminder nd copy the head office nd if after a reasonable time nothing is done, then u can take it up legally but I believe the issue wld ve been resolved by the bank before it gets to the court. Do not mind d pple asking u to sue the bank just like that, u ve to give evidence dat u ve made efforts to resolve d issue and ve given d bank ample opportunity to right the wrong done to u or at least show dat u ve called their attention to a wrong done to u or else d case might b dismissed for lack of evidence. Cheers. |
Well, I wld advice u to do ur homework properly or else u might just b fighting a loss battle. Fraud, or suspicion of fraud aren't d reasons why accounts are frozen. Incomplete documentations or refusal on ur part knowinly or unknowinly to update ur acct might also b 1 of d reasons accts are frozen. The person dat u feel is behind d freezing of your acct might ask d staff to freeze ur acct but d bank wld b so foolish to do so witout other reasons. Moreover, a staff cannot freeze an acount witout authorization by anoder senior staff. Well I will advise you to do ur homework properly before taking further action. |
Donalð Genes: You should have gotten her message instead knowing fully well she's in a Tizz situation especially when you keep getting this intractable and annoying "Invalid number" you should have just ignore her spelling gaffes rather than trying to pick errors. Thank you!The guy wasn't in any way insulting her but he corrected her rightly. No one is a master of knowledge esp in English language which is not our native language. We do make errors even when we speak our native language. The least person on this topic wld b a WAEC holder and such error(s) is not expected nd when made we shld b humble enough to accept corrections, personally if I were amara.lizzy I wld thank pek but d least she cld do is to keep quite instead of insulting him ( u don't knw who he is). The corrections pek made cld b an answer to a question in d NIS aptitude test which might b a saving grace to her to b shortlisted for an interview. Well, may God help us all. |
Can graduates with experience apply? |
GB

The question Femi 20 asked is not ludicrous. He needs clarity on the advert as regards the age limit. If you read the advert, you wld have seen the confliction on d age limit. That's why some pple are not shortlisted because they donot put attention on details nd do not bother to clarify ambigiuity when it comes to recruitment advertised and they put d blame on" Man no Man sydrome" though 'm not absolving d system, but let get d requirement right b4 blaming any system. Any1 dat has d info to clarify this issue as regards d age limit shld help d guy out. Thanks |
Well this is an advert forum but I feel that the job is very sensitive in nature to b for public consumption. Firstly the children are little and shouldnot be exposed to just any1 wether female or otherwise. Secondly for security reasons, especially in the era of kidnapping which is very prevalence in Nigeria now, one must b security concious. I guessed the children are in a schl and you can as well get the female home tutors frm their schl or frm referrals frm close pals. Just my personal opinion as a mother but its better to err on the side of caution than to b sorry. |
naanamee: Na so oo my bro, nobody is saying anything abt this year's recruitment, I reliably gathered that d recruitment process for June batch is going to be very competitive as there's only abt 72 vacancies and more than 60,000 applied, the requests from higly placed pple such as govs, other ministers, NASS Members has even surpassed d existing vacancies, and d commission is confused on how to proceed abt it with d high level of interest d advert has already generated and one of d commissioners said dey plan to close their eyes and just do it based on merit, so it ll be highly competitive. That's assuming if they haven't change their minds and decide to do man know man... Well, be it as it may, we should count on God's favor on this recruitment.Pls can u help us to "reliably gather" when they will call those of us that applied this year?. |
buklan: Like say if u get d same opportunity u no go fall for am.Buklan,u might b right frm the point of view that" this is what Naija is now" but hey, we are all looking for a better naija and it's starts frm not doing things like this (cheating) I donot knw ur religious view but in the law of nature which Karma is one, remember that whatever you sow u shall reap. No matter how long it takes,it shall surely come to effect. Let's make a better Naija and its starts frm u and I. God help us all and God bless Nigeria. |
people do not help just like that unless if you are ready to sacrifice something[ Like what. Pls educate us more! |
'SI once made a comment earlier on this thread that I donot believe this guy, he is up to something well known to him but he just wants to use this topic as a facade on his real motive(s) for coming to this forum. Just a word for u. You cannot fool all the people all the time. Some of us can read between the lines my dear!. Your story has it's loopholes which pple ve identified earlier. Also a yoruba adage says" eniyan meji kon padanu Iro" ie when 2 pple discuss, both of them cannot b deceived. If the person being told lies is deceived definetly the person telling d lies can not deceived at all. |
oluface: Please does anyone knw where i can work as alabaru apart from idumota and mile 12. I use to work as a purchasing manager in a restaurant and i am well know in those place. The shame will be too much if they see me working as alabaru. If u have any other casual work that i can earn daily income from pls post it here.Well I don't believe what u just wrote here but if it has gotten to the extent of looking for an "alabaru" work, then let me give u a piece of advise. Firstly u said u were a purchasing manager in a restaurant which means u ve worked in a place in which u wld ve known some pple who can trust u with their clothes, why don't you start laundry work because u will only need to buy soap if u are working from ur house but if u ve to go to ur customer's house u will only need to go there and give service ie washing the dirty clothes. I had a guy who was an SSCE holder and he do come to help wash clothes on saturday and he gets N1500 and he has like 6 oder places he goes to during the week. He makes like an average of N8k weekly nd he has a petrol station he goes to sweep very early in d morning evry day n they pay him N7500 evry month. After he proved himself to b hardworking, he worked wit me in d bank I was, and as a cleaner he was paid N18k monthly but still doing weekend runs and getting fringe benefits frm d bank. To cut d long story short d guy is now working wit d police force wit his SSCE nd earning about N50k. So I will advise u to think well b4 doing d Alabaru work becos there ar still better options. |
D alfa john: You have o select a job position and after the position window opens u will submit from the window. I hope this solves u problem ,best of luck.thanks my broder. I will do as u advised. Wishing u best of luck too |
alfa john: there is something u are not doing right just submitted mine nowPls help out, I ve filled the on-line form and reached the summary page nd ve fiiled all dat's is required but I can't find the Icon for submission. Pls how did u submit? |
alfa john: If u look at the advert u have analyst 1,2,3 then asst. mgr. analyst 3 is level 8 analyst 2 is level 9 analyst 1 is level 10 so asst mgr is grade l2. There is no level 11 in the service. Am not too sure but this my opinionThanks vry much my brother.I hope they would b transparent enough with the selection process. May God see us through. |
alfa john: Let it be known that he who pays the piper dictates the tune, it is a federal govt. policy that applicants should be tested. I have done many of such and i am a well experienced candidate. For your info. i did test for Firs, level 16,i did test for Nhis level 15 where i currently work and i did test for Nimc level 15. Also at Nerc i applied for DD which is level 16 and the are asking of where i what to be tested. So pls be guided.Pls what level will an assistant manager post in nerc get? mosun35: Pls what level is the post of an assistant manager in nerc? |
[quote author= Hello house, guess you are doing great, Stanbic IBTC called me for a test assessment last week thursday, but i only did their self assessment test, which was all about my personality, hope i will be called for the next stage and how is their recruitment like, am so sad right now, please can someone give me an update based on their recruitment style
Hello Hardetoun, just started ffng this thread and thank God for the contributions so far. If one apply online, can u tell me how long it can take b4 u are called? Secondly, do experience hires do an assessment test and if yes, is it a SHL test? If SHL test pls how can 1 download it online witout making payments. Or if u ve a copy of d SHL materials can u forward to me? Thanks. |
uote author=classmark]How come the adverts for those posts were not published?
True talk classmark. I think the gain of MTN's action to our forum is that some of the unemployed or underemployed youths in Nigeria get employments due to this MTN's action and I don't think we saw any advert wrt the replacement exercise of MTN. If otherwise pls, I stand to b corrected. |
Well, I sympathize with ur friend's friend but there are some questions which are hanging frm ur story and yet to be answered. If she is intelligent and enthusiastic like u rightly said she should have passed in the training schl unless u want to tell us that the bank's method of selection is not fair or based on merit. On the issue of ur frnd's Frnd not resigning wld b a bit difficult of her because a reference wld b made to our former office which wld confirm d method of her exit and unless she did not inform d bank she worked there. At any rate I feel sorry for her but hey life is all about moving forward and learning ur lessons in any situation u find urself nd doing it right or better the next time. It's a risk she took whether bank or any other organisation. |
