Na so i carry myself go my private hospital however somedays back i went to general hospital and the messured baby to be 3.0kg but to my greatest shock today the private clinic doctor said baby is 4.4kg... na so i enter ghost mode plus angry mood altogether. On top the delay infact after much sermon by doc. We decide he carrys out the membrane sweep.

As a ftm, i was shying shy for another bobo to choke choke hand inside for hubby present. Kia, i was not just comfortable at all...the doc kept saying, madam relax n open your legs very well... i felt i have just cheated on my darling darling

Encouraged us to stimulate the nipples plus sperm would also help. Meanwhile i have been running away from him for long now.

Baby girl made her grand entry on the 11th of August.

BS.

My journey was a very sweet one and I enjoyed every bit of it because I had no MS except for mild heart burn , I ate everything I cooked and didn't have weird cravings.
I was very agile that it got to a point I had to ask myself if I was really pregnant..lol.
Had 3 EDDs 18th (scan), 24th and 26th of August.
Fast forward to 10th of August after I finished cooking, I ate like I've been fasting for one week. Lol.
I started having contractions, it came like waves, I timed it to know if it was false labour or the real thing.
Few minutes later I went to urinate and saw blood, immediately I told my husband that I've seen show by then the contractions became stronger, I changed to a gown and wore a pant and told hubby to bring my bag, as we were about leaving for the hospital my water broke.
I never knew I could speak in perfect tongues until that day. Lol. As I got into the car I didn't know when I removed my pant I thought I was going crazy, I shouted on hubby to drive gently and drive fast at the same time.
We finally got to the hospital at 10:10pm and I was checked lo and behold I was already 5cm dilated. The nurse was surprised and told me I will be checked again in 4hrs time.
The contractions became stronger that I felt like pooing twice the last urge to poo came and I couldn't bear it any longer I ask them to call the nurse, immediately the nurse came I told her I want to poo poo She said oya come let me check you, she checked and and I was fully dilated.
She asked me not to push until I was told to do so but the urge to push became uncontrollable, she gave me a cut and said pushhh!! see your baby head and after two pushes my angel came out at exactly 1:10am 11th of August weighing 3.5kg. Funny thing is immediately she came out the pains just disappeared fiam!!
I return all the glory to God for a successful journey.

Abeg to my fellow November teamies and other sabi mamas, isn't it too early to be feeling this heaviness all over the body To get up from bed na wahala, sometimes sef to stand up from chair or whatever is with serious caution, to waka long distance nko I feel it's still early jare or is there something I'm lacking? Abi how are September and October mamas feeling if me I'm feeling this heaviness now. It is well sha, may God see us through.

We are gradually getting there by His grace.

Sorry fellow mamas this notification is coming a bit late. I had to use my husband's phone to share the excitement. Big Prince was born on 12/8/19
Delivery Method: Induction leading to Successful Natural Birth
Weight: 4.4kg at 40weeks 2

Brief Birth Story: Pregnancy was very smooth and stressfree apart 4rm the first 3months of vomiting and the usual.

On 10th of Aug (my EDD), i barely slept. I was having a fever, diarrhea, vomiting with little contractions. I got worse by 9am so, i decided to go into the hospital. I was checked and the nurses said i was 2cm dilated with very soft cervix.

Fast forward on Sunday (11th August), i was booked for induction by 10pm. Everything went smoothly with Mistropol inserted. I went into active labour by 8:40am (12th August) with water busting and that was when i knew i was in labour.
Omo mehn, i saw contractions back to back. Kai!. Next thing nurses asked for my hospital bag nd started arranging for baby only to check and they said i was only 3cm dilated. Blood of Jesus!
They said i ought to dilate at 1cm every hour but God knew i couldn't. Next thing, baby pooed and the nurse quickly put hand inside to pack out the poo immediately. The doctor and the nurse came and started talking about if baby had swallowed shit, the heartbeat will drop and i will need CS. I started to pray.
God answered me ooo... Because with all my prayers + Gibberish + grabbing of my husband, i had an active labour of 8:40am- 10:47am. My big prince was welcomed at 10:47am with no pain relief. With a small cut which was stitched.

I started seeing bloodily mucus about 3 days before proper show. But everyone birth story differs dear so, listen to your body. Don't entertain fear of any sort. It will happen in due time. Safe&Swift delivery to you and all. Amen.

My dear it differs in women. I don't think it took more than 20minutes after the clotted blood/show came out that I gave birth. As for the mucus stained blood i started seeing it 3hrs 30mins to delivery. It was same way with my first.

Please head to the hospital if you are seeing any of those.

Show as what u are seeing is called is a sign of labour. I would advice you head back to the hospital with your bags. How are the contractions? Can u time them? Use a contraction timer. It is well.

I have not started feeling any sign of labour yet, am i not supposed to have started feeling it if baby is to show forth tomorrow?

My prince arrived at 8:18am on the 7th of Aug weighing 4.3kg with lil tear. Still in the hospital as he’s been monitored. Bs coming when discharged. Maamas join me in thanking God.

Please mommas recommend an effective breast pump that can pump very well. My son eats a lot pls. I bought camara but it doesn't pump well.

Had my much long awaited princes on the first of August. Was induced and it was in active Labour for about an hour.

The pain was so strong at this point and I was shouting. By the time the nurse checked at 8pm I was just 3cm and by 9pm was fully dilated and pushed twice for the baby’s head then twice more and my little girl came out. Placenta was delivered 10mins later.

Kudos to mama that are usually induced without an epidural. Una get muscle! Third baby but first one for me to shout and loose control.

Thank you all team mates for looking out for one another I’m always in the background.

Wishing all my team mates and other mamas waiting for their little ones the grace of God to deliver safely with joy!
