oloriooko: there's nothing like black americans, please point of correction, they are african americans boycott as much as you can, the businesses will keep thriving right before their eyes and nothing can be done about it
but on the other hand, owners of these businesses must honestly look into the reasons for the boycott and make moves to correct and improve their services The concept of African American was a political decision. They were first called negro, coloured, and then African Americans and soon black Americans. They are black Americans and have nothing to do with Africa except that they came from there just like Whites who came from Europe |

cyberbro: One thing about China is that they can keel you with respect if you patronize them often they do this to all businesses to all individuals.
To me it's a smart strategy by the Chinese seller because she knows the Igbos or other Nigerians will patronize her shop upon seeing that sign, so to the Chinese person this is just another business strategy not a thanksgiving strategy. Tha is true but you need to be careful of them With that sneaky respect, they can steal all your customers and suppliers I noticed that, they start asking questions about your business, if you open up too much, they will steal your info plus customer list and then turn to suppliers |

Gerrard59: While the rest of your post is true and thought-provoking, many White Americans can accurately trace their ancestry to present-day European countries and even villages. Some still hold their ancestral countries to heart.
See here: https: //archive.md /7o651/again?url=https://www. ft. com/content/5c6ef531-847c-414a-bbec-f2f25574e1e5
Ancestry is not the same as identity. Culture, language and daily life define who we are more than where our ancestors came from.
And if the argument is that African Americans are not Africans because of their lived experiences, what about those in the Caribbean (Bahamas, Jamaica etc)? Their lived experiences differ from African Americans and some of their cultural practices still have African roots. What do you say? You need to understand that only few blacks in the Caribbeans still practice our culture or connect to their African root. We assume many want to connect to their ancestry because of social media. Many of them hate to be identified as Africans, they also do not practiced our core culture, what they have is a diluted one. I have met people from the Caribbeans, many look exactly like Africans but hate to be called Africans. One incident almost caused a physical fight. The only reason why Africans always remind other blacks of their African ancestry is because they want to feel superior. |

Just imagine Lagos will still be developed than other part of Nigeria. It has access to the deep water sea..it's location alone is lucrative for international trade. It is also cheaper... considering it was the port of slave trade that leads directly to the ocean and to the Americans which are now our major trading partners. L |

Price don increase be that...na wa ooh These tax make things expensive and companies will dump the load on the consumer head.
Take example, plane ticket, a normal plane in Nigeria is around 20 to 30k but then the tax added to the real price is what makes air ticket expensive |
