erad: I don't have strength to argue with loud uninformed people this morning.
That's what you think? perfect. You are right. you are the uninformed person, you are just repeating the troupe of racists when the data says otherwise. Research from the National Bureau of Economic Research indicates that white women have been the primary beneficiaries of affirmative action in education and the workplace. While affirmative action was designed to level the playing field for racial minorities, white women have received a larger share of new job opportunities in previously male-dominated fields.

erad: The second shot in the video already told me all I need to know, that most of you are wickedly mischievous people.
He said that in context, in context of affirmative action.
So what does affirmative action mean? It's similar for what we call quota system in Nigeria(where cut off marks are reduced for people from some states and are higher for some people from some states because some are educationally 'disadvataged'). Where a percentage of employment must be filled by people from 'minority' races (blacks, Hispanics, etc). Many black people got employment in some companies and in government not because they are qualified but because someone from that race must fill up the position.
So if you see a black person in a sensitive position like a pilot, you have to ask yourself if this person was employed because they are qualified or because of affirmative action. That was his context. which kind person be this. you claimed many black people got qualified to some positions because of their skin colour...that is a lie. White women are the biggest beneficiaries of affrimative actions not blackBy the way, do you think a white person will choose you over another white person even if you are qualified. |

we have too many mentally slaved people here Someone clearly says you are not fit to fly a plane because of your skin colour even if you are qualified and there are people supporting him How can you self sabatage yourself even when a white man is against you and even questioning your qualification |

Do u see ur logic is flawed. if he actually did put anybody life in danger there are many systems to address it not taking laws into ur hands and killing someone.
For this reason foreigners mocking kirk should be deported rather than killed like u suggested. See, I don't care. When he accuses blacks of commiting all the murders in the US, he got murdered by his fellow white man. The only reason they are angry is because he is a trump supporters and they are all on X If it was Biden who died, they would celebrate. |

It's OK if u don't like him cos u disagree with his point of view, many people have varying opinions of different subjects but that is never a reason to kill anyone unless u are innately a criminal or despicable human being.
Foreigners mocking a political assasination don't deserve to be the United States. They are enemies of the state. They won't still give you visa. Freedom of speech is very important and trump wants to kill that |

GboyegaD: I have gone to read through his original post and look into his LinkedIn profile. One thing stands out to me and it is his years of experience both as an individual contributor and people management. I feel there are other reasons for rescinding his offer but I don't think they did solely because he is Nigerian.
A CTO role for a company that pays that much will come with some great wealth of experience and makes the story questionable. With the figure he mentioned, it must be an American company, American companies will rather look for talent at home rather than give the role to a Nigerian from Nigeria. |

Which wealth did Mr Eazi actually create? I’m yet to see it.
He made a few local hits but never truly went international. Creatively, he was midlevel at best. His parents were middle class and there’s no proof his father left him any fortune.
Some bloggers claim he sold a company to Apple for $1B but a quick check on Techpoint shows that’s false. They also claim he owns a betting company not true, he was just a promoter.
Even the wedding hype is exaggerated. Did he really have a $14M wedding? Highly unlikely. If he did, where are the receipts?
At the end of the day, believe blogs at your own risk. Stop hyping people just because you like them. |

Even if our politicians are stealing our money, but they if they are upright and behaving like VDM there is no problem.
Op with the mentality of people like you I can bet you this country is moving nowhere use the energy you are channeling to vgm channel to the elected political officers in this country like the governors and the presidents and the local government chairman even your counselor and hold them accountable for the fund giving to them this country will better than channeling your problem to someone who is not elected with your voters card.

People contributed money to support his activism. After that, he began referring to himself as a man of integrity even calling himself the only man with integrity in Nigeria. But since then, there's been little to no transparency about how the NGO funds have been spent.
He has been handing out ₦1 million here and there like it’s a giveaway. He has also announced various projects he is working on, a borehole here and there, To date, we’ve only seen evidence of maybe one project he claims to have completed. The rest? We only hear about them with no pictures, no reports, no documentation to verify anything.
There's a troubling lack of clarity between personal funds and NGO money, today, he will say, he used some his personal money and took some NGO money for a project, seems he can not seperate personal money from NGO money.
He constantly shows up in places uninvited, making it more about performance than purpose. There is no real accountability, just performative activism, constant storytelling and gaslighting much like the very politicians he claims to oppose.
If he truly considers himself a man of integrity, then the bare minimum would be to publicly publish a detailed account of how funds are being spent. That’s what integrity demands. |
Celebrities › Re: In Africa, They Think MR Eazi Is A Billionaire. by motymop(op): 6:24pm On Sep 10, 2025 |
grandstar: Mr. Eazi is a venture capitalist. He invests in promising new companies. They are the type that invest in Facebook in its infancy. It is companies like that that many new startups go to for funding. You can say the investors on Shark Tank are venture capitalists.
It won't therefore be strange if he has investments in 18 countries in Africa. That simply means he has invested in companies in 18 different African countries, most likely being startups.
Do venture capitalist make money, or lots of money?
Lets look at the music company sold for $1bn. It might have been worth $5m when it started. Please note that Mr. Eazi is a venture capitalist. He invests in other people's companies. He therefore does not own the music company. He is a shareholder! He might own 5 or 10% of the company. So the $1bn sale may net him $100m. He might have invested only $1m.
Venture capitalist usually invest what they believe will be very fast growing companies. Just think of those who invested in Facebook, WhatsApp, Google and others when they were still very tiny, probably still working out of a garage? Those early investors today are billionaires.
Mr. Eazi is on is way to becoming a billionaire in 10 years max the way he is going.
That's why Dangote has lots of respect for him.
He is investing his money wisely, rather than flaunting it doing big boy like Davido and others. I am certain Eazi hasn't made up to 10% of what Davido or Wizkid have made but he may be far richer than them.
Also note that most venture capitalists usually have investors money. Investors might have given large amounts of money to invest for them. He could be controlling $500m on behalf of investors. If a deal goes through, he will own a percentage. Investors just need to have the confidence that you will grow their money.
Don't be surprised if Dangote has $50m invested in his company. Pls stop writing nonsense abeg. |

ednut1: i used to think like this. Until i did a consulting engagement for a company owned by a billionaire. We worked from a desk near their boardroom and saw him and family often. The daughter married a doctor based in the USA. Guess what the guy moved back to Nigeria and started working for the man’s company as a management staff.
Otedola’s son is autistic, his daughters are not business savvy. He only has his younger brother with him in this power plant. Dont be surprised if he grooms eazi to be a key partner/ manager in his business. Rich people are not stupid The death of Herbert Wigwe is a real eye-opener on how wealth works in Nigeria. You could see extended families stepping in, trying to lay claim to assets. The same pattern played out with the Ibru family after their founder passed. Now, back to Otedola. Many don’t know he has a brother, Olurotimi, who is actively involved in running Geregu Power and holds major shares there. hat has already remove eazi from been groomed. (He also has an older step brother who was once a truck driver but now owns a farm.) What people often forget is that Otedola doesn’t actually build businesses. His strategy has always been to invest, take majority control, list on the stock exchange, then exit by selling his shares. He’s more of a trader than a builder, with zero emotional attachment to the companies he backs. But when you look deeper, family dynamics add another layer. In Africa, wealth created by one man is usually treated as “family wealth.” Naturally, billionaires in this position are very intentional about protecting their assets. Outsiders especially husbands married into the family are often excluded because they’re not seen as part of the core bloodline. |
