I agree with you completely. EFCC should begin to probe this institutionalised criminals. The problem in Nigeria's educational system is as a result of the rot in NUC. Ill-equipped schools, with little or no staff are given accreditation. Shameful
stevnwigw: national universities commission (NUC) is so corrupt . details shortly... . Some institutions pay these individuals what they call honorarium and this body close their eyes and accredit this departments for five years or thereabout. These have been having negative effects on the graduates produced in Nigeria..
herxix: Multiple regression would be a better option since you have two independent variables
multiple regression is good not just because of the number of iv(s), you consider the main goal of the study, from here you want to check for the relationship between the iv(s) and dv, also you want to make possible prediction on which iv would possibly predict or lead to the dv
izombie: Please don't get me wrong people. I have tried following some of the celebrities that i like, people like don jazzy, genevieve, roger federer; serena williams, p diddy and others but i just can't make heads or tails about why. I mean why would i want to know what davido does when he wakes up in the morning or what wizkid is going to do in LA? What do i gain by knowing that don jazzy partied in this or that club? Are people so inquisitive that they want to know every move taylor swift or beyonce make? I don't get it. Following people that you know and they know you is understandable, just like following news channels or sports but why follow someone that doesn't know you exist? And 99% of the time, these celebrities post trash or people trash talk them, especially for naija side. Please no bashing but can someone tell me what they benefit by following celebrities?
you are funny, that's why people need to do purposeful things. Many people choose who to follow for information, networking, marketing and for knowledge. Some people make a lot of money by following and being followed through adverts e.g Ebuka Akara on twitter- he makes money because he has a lot of followers and some people pay him to promote their services or products. There are many people like him. Some other follow some professionals for insights, information and motivation. Other connect with people of like minds to share ideas and even partner on businesses. So dear, don't follow just for the sake of following. Follow based on your interest. There is a lot to benefit from these networks if you do it purposefully.
But my anger is not directed at Rochas who here represents every failed leader in this country. F
I visited owerri some weeks ago and wept for our youths. The youths who will tomorrow follow their 'enviable' legacy. We ve sold our conscience for pennies. They have manipulated the youths such that one can argue that you need to feed to fight/protest the bad leadership we are experiencing. So when they offer them few hundreds, they lose their sense and become thugs protecting/counter-protesters.
They are SAINTS my bros. Canonised by His Holiness, Pope Buhari
ProfessorPeter: Op, will you shut up there. Oshomole bought that property with his savings. Be informed that it is the PDP members who are corrupt, APC members are saints.
The same thing the northern governors did when Boko Haram was terrorising GEJ government.[quote author=timmy247x post=48300990]It is most worrisome and perhaps, curious, that in spite of threat to security of lives and property in the region, the Governors of South South who are also the Chief Security Officer’s of their respective States are extraordinarily silent, as if there is a general peace and tranquility in the area. I have always been against the vandalization of oil facilities and unrest in the Niger Delta region by whatever guise, whether as a message against environmental pollution and degradation or against marginalization of it’s citizens, but it is always a curious thing to discover that, the Chief Executive Officers of this region are unusually calm and silent over the sad situation. One wonders the problem of the South South leaders when it occurs to him that this is not the first time the South South is experiencing this type of situation.
Smart! The governor supports the people not giving up their lands for a private business. But they will support the giving of herdsmen farm lands belonging to farmers
He said further, “As a government, the whole cabinet looked at the proposal. Our concern is, you are going to pay a farmer hectare of land where he produces his crops. You will be making an income of 700,000 a year where he has been making 100,000 and make him a labourer forever. How as a social policy can you justify this opportunity cost? .
As a woman you have all the rights in the world to say anything to anybody. But as a man you must check yourself? Funny hypocritical world
bumi10: There are strong indications that peace and reconciliation was under way between the Senator Oluremi Tinubu and her colleague, Senator Dino Melaye, as Senate president, Bukola Saraki has intervened.
According to Vanguard, Saraki’s intervention was among others, to nip in the bud, concering the lingering crisis between the two senators of the same political party. A source said that in his desirous move to end the war of words, the Senate president on Tuesday, July 19, met with both Tinubu and Melaye separately for a period of two hours each.
Earlier today, a four-man delegation of the Lagos state lawmakers stormed the national headquarters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at Abuja lambasting Saraki and Ekwereadum of a conspiracy of silence. The House of Assembly members came with a strong-worded petition which they submitted to the national chairman of APC Chief John Odigie-Oyegun. The delegation house called for immediate sanctions to be meted on Dino Melaye. The state legislators said their demand became vital due to purported derogatory statements made by Melaye against Senator Tinubu.
Tinubu’s wife writes police Tinubu’s wife, who represents the Lagos central senatorial district in the Senate, a few days wrote a letter to the Senate president and the national chairman of the APC concerning the improper behaviour of Melaye during the closed door of the Nigerian Senate. Her letters, separately delivered to Saraki, and APC chairman, express’s worry that the Senate had not taken action to address Melaye’s threat to her.
Please I need your help. I have been running this life assurance policy with an Insurance company for more than 40 months and going by their policy terms and conditions, I can cash out 100 percent of my investment after 3 years (36 months). On Nov. 2015 I wanted out, they started making things difficult telling me I will lose money if I cash out now as the economy is bad on them.
I insisted that they give me back my money as I really need it. Knowing how desperate I have become as it is for medical emergency, they deducted about N124,000 from my premium (of course interest accrued forfeited too). I insisted that they will pay my complete money - they said take it or leave it.
From a friend's advice, I decided to fill the discharge voucher and terminate the policy but as I write I am still battling to get them to credit my account for over 8 months now!!
The insurance account officer called me yesterday saying I should sponsor his trip to their head office in Lagos so that he can go and push for my cheque to be out soon. Make una see me see wahala o!!! Na office he wan open for my head now!
Good people of Nigeria, how do I go about this? I have sorted out the medical emergency with loan after running around like rat whose house is on fire but I still need the money to offset the loan plus interest.
There are few things a country can afford to do to motivate you to carry the country on your head. Provide conducive environment for development.
emusbyz: Mentalities like "Don't think of what America can do for you, but think of what you can do for America" added to how the country became great. What have we done for Nigeria should be the question here.
Look at ekweremadu in Igbo native attire seeking to elicit sympathy and support from Igbos who have not benefited anything from him in his 8 years in NASS.
Mr Integrity and anti-corruption, how difficult is it to produce your certificate? Are we asking for too much for you to justify your assumption unto office with your own certificate? Your bulldogs judge people on the pages of newspaper daily. Mr integrity please prove your worth.
Shameless CP. He looks like one of the ogas that give his men target like bank marketers for returns. He mentioned increment of fare. That's to infer that they have not increased their own from 50naira since the hike in transport fare
Same notable faces you will find in our politics today shouting the same change slogan. Nigerians will continue to be gullible till the end of time.
This shows the vulnerability of the human mind. They follow paths to there stomach. Just imagine the crowd clamoring for a dictator to continue, convinced that he has the key to solving their problems.

You can delve into analytics, acquire skills in that area and your data analytic skills will be sharper. They well sort, you need to know how to transform abstract data to useful tools in many fields: stocks, research, media (visual, graphics and even audio)
It's a good test of his popularity. The producers will definitely adjust their story to keep him on.
Ddoncharlze: As fans saw on the Monday, May 11 episode of the Fox drama, titled “Rise by Sin,” Jussie’s characterJamal Lyonwas accidentally shot by Freda Gatz, played by rapper Bre-Z, and now the actor’s cryptic tweet has fans believing that he could be saying goodbye to Empire for good. Following the airing of the dramatic episode on May 11, Jussie took to Twitter to suggest that the episode could be the last time we seeJamal Lyonon-screen with the merciless Lyon family, telling fans that he’s enjoyed his time on the show, but is now turning his attention to music and movies.
He tweeted;
"I've thoroughly enjoyed my time w/ @EmpireFOX. I love you all. Truth. Time 2 make a record & some movies. #Empire"
Jussie’s pretty telling tweet followed a slew of messages Smollett posted while live tweeting the most recent episode of Empire, including one where he wrote “it’s me” after Jamal was shot and then another that appeared to suggest the middle Lyon brother may not recover from his injuries.
“This is why we must watch how we treat people. We never know how long they have,” Smollett told his followers on the 140-character site. “Just in the blink of an eye. Gone. #empire.”
Jussie Smollett’s surprising Empire tweet whipped fans into a frenzy on the social media site after he suggested that “Rise by Sin” could have been his last episode, with some claiming that they’ll no longer be watching if Jamal was in fact just killed off.
“What?!? They killed your character? No need for me to watch anymore. Goodbye #Empire” @strongforu tweeted in reference to Smollett’s message after the episode, while Empire fan @melin456 replied to Jussie’s tweet, “If u go who is left to watch? I love Cookie too but I cannot bear the fact your [character] is dead. Sorry #Empire.” “If Jamal dies, I’m done with Empire. Done. #Empire,” @LadiDeeTee tweeted out to Jussie following the episode, while @BVSEDANGEL wrote on Twitter in reply to Jussie’s tweet, “you can’t be gone. Not you of all characters. I seriously won’t watch this ever again.”
What do you think of Jussie Smollett’s tweet that hinted Empire had killed off Jamal Lyon?
This administration is a joke. How was the Campaign fund for Sai bubu generated? Public donation? Or voluntary services? Or donation from public funds? It's a shame, what was amaechi, tinubu, fayemi, obasanjo's networth before taking political positions? Too many questions with obvious answers. Since GEJ lost, his supports and financiers are now clearly fraudulent and thieves while Sai bubu financiers are in safe haven with halo on their heads.
This man (speaking for this govt) is not ashamed at all. It's clear that the govt have shortchanged Nigerians. Indigenous refineries are called 'illegal' and not encouraged but destroyed so that capitalists and friends of the govt can monopolise all means of production.
joborskill: i raised all this points in my write up. We are saying the same thing
We not saying the same thing. If you have a parcel of land and the government takes it from you because someone's right of grazing on your land is to be met, and you say we are saying the same thing? What is wrong with negotiating with your host community if they willing to offer their lands?
How many times have you heard that igbos destroy and rape at will in their host communities? What is wrong in training the herds men on modern rearing techniques? They are intelligent and can learn new methods
@OP- What's wrong with ranch system? Your claim of being yoruba doesn't make your point more acceptable. The igbos you continuously cited didn't acquire places of business by destroying other people's settlement or means of livelihood nor did they lobby for government policy to situate them. My points: 1. adopt modern rearing techniques. 2. Disarm the herds men (they don't need arms-according to the OP). 3. If they must get land, they should negotiate with the land owners or community). Simple
It baffles me how our leaders reason. Who pays the compensation, from which purse? They adding to the numerous problems already overwhelming this country.
