bullstriker: You can use a third-party sponsor, but the onus is on you to convince the vo why the person wants to sponsor you. Bank statements from the person should also be backed by evidence of commitment from the person. Commitment could be in the form of tuition payment, funds transfer to your account, prior financial support, or being present during an important event. Thank you |

Good afternoon everyone, please I need advice for a second time applicant. The first refusal was because of the proof of funds(insufficient funds). For the second application is it advisable to have someone stand as a sponsor and use the person’s bank account (not related to the applicant) and also upload land property that belongs to the applicant's Parents?

Please how do I order GCMS? bullstriker: Please order GCMS. It seems they have a strong reason for refusing your application based on finance. To reapply, you can submit your application the same way as the previous one with the application fee, but first, you must address the reason for the refusal to get a positive outcome. For land, you can submit proof of ownership like a deed of assignment, proof of payment, certificate of occupancy and valuation report; remember that such an asset is proof of ties and rarely considered as proof of funds. |

Thank you, amen Pace6: Sorry about the refusal.
Yes you should attach the e-Medical sheet given to you along side your second application as long as it’s still valid, validity is for 1 year.
Yes you’ll pay $CAD150 for reapplication.
All the best, it will end in praise |

Hello @Army2022, have you been able to send your files? If yes, how did you do it? Also what did you include in the client information pdf? Army2022: Thanks a lot Mrprolifik, Quinstershaw and Pace6. Note*i compressed each of these files to 4mb each before submitting them in October . They were so small and barely readable
POF, Fam info, Digital photo, Int'l passport,LOA, Client info and Imm5257 I'm wondering how to compress already compressed 7 files. That is 4mb×7 compressed into 3.5mb each of the files are barely readable. |

I didn’t see the receipt number on the submission confirmation letter but I saw a receipt number (I.e “ your payment receipt number is...”) on the confirmation of online transmission, is it the same? bullstriker: When you submit a web form, analysts (not visa officers) use the information you have provided to locate your application. So, they will be unable to find your file if the information on the web form differs from what is on the application.
You can find the receipt number on the submission confirmation letter. This letter was sent to your portal when you submitted your application. The method of mailing is: Online The complete address does not apply to you. It is for a paper application. |

johnstan: Yea, If you're used to sending webforms/emails to IRCC prior to this, you will immediately know that this is the generic response acknowledging the receipt of your documents so you can be rest assured that they were received.
Cheers. Thank you |

mrprolifik: . The visa in your passport is not a study permit. The visa allows you to travel to Canada. It is when you get to Canada that your study permit will be issued by the Canadian border security agency ( immigration). If the visa in your passport is still valid when you plan to start your program , then you are good to go, as long as it's the same school and same program you used in applying for the study permit. But remember to get your updated letter of acceptance from your school. You can send IRCC an email via webform after logging into you account to inform them of your new start date but it isnt compulsory. Remember it isn't compulsory but its safer. But if your visa isn't approved yet and you defer your program ,then it's a must that you have to inform ircc via webform by also sending them your new letter of acceptance . Goodluck Thank you |

mrprolifik: . If your updated letter of acceptance is for the same program and same college, then all you need to do is inform IRCC via webform using your account and they will reply you and tell you what to do. But if you plan on attending a new college and you are outside Canada then you will need to apply for a new study permit. NB: if you defer your start date by 150days or more then you need to get an updated letter of acceptance and inform IRCC by uploading the new LOA and sending it to IRCC via your account. “inform IRCC via webform using your account“ please how? Is it the same as sending emails and webform? Please what do you mean by using your account? |

CindyByFine: Do you mean the email addresses? Or the body of the email?
Both answers are here. I sent to <nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca>; <nairobi@international.gc.ca>; <beijing-immigration@international.gc.ca>; <abuja@international.gc.ca>; <london-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca>; <lagos.immigration@international.gc.ca>; <nrobi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca>; <ganzu-immigration@international.gc.ca>; <shanghai-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca>; <accraimmigration@international.gc.ca>; <ldnimmigration@international.gc.ca>; <abuja-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca>;
Then as at yesterday, London office replied that my application was not being processed in London that I should use the Webform link contained in their mail and my enquiry will be sent to the processing Office. I did and got an auto response from IRCC Nairobi....so I now focused my whole energy on Nairobi emails but for Webform, I sent to Nairobi, Lagos, Accra, London, Beijing, Shanghai.
I tried 5 different MPs for British Columbia, Canada but they all gave a generic response that meant that they can't help if I am not in their province or something like that.
This afternoon, I decided to use a fresh email instead of the existing email trails and I also attached the email and survey link from his School and sent mails every hour to Nairobi emails including NROBIIMDocument@international.gc.ca
Sample of Email sent:
Good day Sir / Madam,
I hope this e-mail meets you well.
My name is Bleep, and I am contacting you to kindly use your good office to expedite the processing of my Canada Study Permit Application.
My School (Okanagan College, British Columbia) has requested I submit the result of my Study Permit Application with a deadline of 13th December, 2022 which is TODAY (attached is a screenshot of the email) or FORFEIT my current admission into the Winter session.
My application timeline goes thus,
- Applied: 28th October, 2022 - Biometrics Passed: 31st October, 2022 - Medical Updated to Passed: 23rd November, 2022 - Eligibility: Started - Proposed Travel Date: Bleep - Resumption Date: Bleep
Based on the aforementioned, I would gladly appreciate it, if I can get an update on my application because, with every passing day, I lose ample time to prepare for my resumption and complete my travel plans.
My Application Number is Bleep and my UCI number is Bleep.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank you.
Best Regards, XYZ Thank you so much, I really appreciate |

Profgordons: You don’t need an IME when doing upfront medical, they will generate one for you when the report is ready. You will then send this report to IRCC via webform. But what about someone who has applied, didn’t do the medicals before applying and wants to do it now (though the person has not gotten the go ahead from IRCC)? Checking IOM and I saw UCI and IME |

Sarah1032: Good day
For those Still waiting on PPR Or any response
Please send webforms and emails to Ottawa Nairobi and the Likes in bulk and quick succession. Over 70 emails a day is not bad.
The RROC rapid response operation system in Ottawa is handling files and they're rapid.
Study permit processing time has dropped to 9 weeks.
So keep sending emails and webforms daily.
Peace. @Sarah1032 Please can you share the emails for Nairobi, Ottawa and is there a format in sending the mails |
