FBNH on green. It didnt even wait till monday to make panicers regret. I wish I had more money to enter this bus at 5.59.

So happy I was able to sell to sell my FCMB today at a good price. Till September as oga Loco talk. I actually expect their result to be like that of FBNH,and the usual panic sellers.

Bullish
- Prices even when they pull back make higher lows . They dont fall to prev or most recent lows
Ex: see GTB . . when it pulled back, it stopped ard 30 and cud not find its way to 25 , making a higher low)

Bearish
- prices break below prev lows and when they bounce , they make lower highs

We have to identify and treat them differently
Thanks. U are always there for we the newbies.

FBNH does not have any excuse really to report a decline QoQ.
I beg to differ. Their results are almost the same. Sterling half year 2016 was 4billion, 2017half year 3billion. Like I said, all banks will experience lower foreign exchange income.

Wetin dey make you shine teeth. The only thing wey make fbnh result bad na foreign exchange gain of last year 55billion and this year 5billion. Everybank go face the same thing. Look at profit after impairment it was just excellent. Make una try dey look result deeply na if not una go make we newbies begin panic. No laugh me again.
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mpeace(m): 7:05pm On Jul 27, 2017
Some pple will hurry and sell fbnh tomorrow, then on monday market will make them regret. Those pple that took fbnh price to where it is today are not expecting an excellent result at this time, if not you for see volume. FBNH's excellent result will come when they stop taking impairment for certain loans and when provisions already made are written back. The men in black know when this would happen. You and I do not kw, we only feel its soon thus we move by the volume. I know that when the said events occur FBNH would really pay so I will wait for the sellers to conclude, then I will enter and stay long term. They took impairment of 62billion and still made a profit. Pls dont compare Dang flour with fbnh. Dangflour will not survive that.
That not withstanding, and with all due respect, my heart is with Mr ihedioramma at this very moment.

When CBN gov said NSE might be in a bubble, I think he was looking at GTB. 41naira, for what. Can they pay N5 dividend by year end? If not then I see no justification for the hike.
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mpeace(m): 2:36pm On Jul 27, 2017
So after every, the said dang flour finished on red. That earlier volume at 5.55 must be crying by now. I know say when them see result (without reading deeply) them rush go buy, thinking of hw them go sell at 11-15 . Well an old man once said "the market has a mind of its own" Loco might just be correct. One thing I noticed since buhari is that price moves before the result. They all take position them release result and then dump on pple.

This is from investment one: Buyers beware.

As the half year result for quoted companies continues to roll in and corporate actions are declared, see below our top picks and our economic reasoning which resulted in us taking this position.

Going into the second half of the year, we envisage a pick-up in global economic output with support from growth momentum in emerging economies as well as in commodity exporters.
In Nigeria, we expect the ongoing economic recovery to continue on a positive trajectory given relative peace in the Niger Delta, supported by offshore borrowing (Eurobond and Multilateral institutions), as well as recent reforms in the foreign exchange market through the creation of the I&E window for investors.
In our opinion, sustained Foreign exchange sales by the CBN and an improved liquidity injection through the implementation of the 2017 budget, will bode well for both the construction and manufacturing sectors.
Given this, we anticipate the stock market performance to see support from the impact of improving macro-economic environment on the earnings scorecards; recent reforms in the FX market; and the revised PFA investment guideline which mandates an increased allocation to equities from Pension Fund Administrators.
Going forward, we expect the positive trend in the NSE-ASI to continue in anticipation of positive H1 2017 earnings.
Downside risk to our outlook on equities however remains from volatility in Brent oil price given its impact on reserve accretion, exchange rate stability as well as offshore investors’ confidence.
Our TOP PICKS are: Access, Dangote Cement, GTB, NB, Nestle, UBA and Zenith Bank.

We will be happy to take your mandates as you position for H2.
After them done buy finish dem come they pick for us. Me no fit buy GTB, Nestle and NB at that price oh, they can only come down.

Abeg make I ask, Is there anything wrong with Eterna oil? Its q1 result showed an over 180% increase in profit, with eps of 52k. and a projected year end eps of 220k yet no one seem interested and the share price does not really move despite its free float being just above 500 million. I too done follow dey run from this stock even though I no kw wetin dey pursue us. And even though every stock broker dey call him name.

But nobody can truly say why the stock is sliding down. I think it is beyond the sentiments we are expressing now. Conoil share price rose 100% after it declared dvidend last year. This year, it is been bashed right, front and centre. I think we will know the true worth in the next 6months. Let's see what its q2 will look like as it is likely to give an idea of the company's direction.
May be the share is going back to its true price. It was N20 around 2012-2013. Maybe that is its true price.

If Jonathan's regime did not indict oando and even went ahead to approve COP deal, I do not see much coming out of SEC investigation. People dont even consider the likely punishment which might be a fine or even a warning, theM just dey run to go sell others dey de wait at N1. Una go wait til oil finish for naija.

Is SEC also investigating FBNHhuh?
FBNH has a special relationship with oil companies especially oando. When oil price rises it rises and when the oil companies catch any kind of cold, it snizzes.
