Zagee:I think he confused the fintech market for the parallel market. The Abokis bought mine |
GeneralDae:I don't know where you pple get these figures. I just sold a few units following this post of yours. They bought at 1,530/1$. |
megawealth01:Today is Public holiday. Very funny that in Saudi Arabia, they don't recognise today as holiday. It's not too celebrated. But in Naija we took like holiday. |
Ginalex:Excellent result we expect a full bid and a return to over N40. I no know why I no add more of this one. I just pray the price movement goes slowly so that small money will be raised for a top-up |
https://www.nairaland.com/8512845/zenith-bank-eyes-ivory-coast Zenith bank is expanding into other African countries. It seems they are clear on the CBN forbearance issue. UBA approved dividends though they also expect CBN approval. This shows they took might be clear on the forbearance issue. Access has not slowed down with it's expansion... It seems those banks that have met the recapitalisation requirement are clear on the forbearance issue. Just maybe |
chimex38:Something tells me Access will have the best dividend yield this year. Disclaimer: the source is not always right. |
emmanuelewumi:They paid N2.5 for last year. They have maintained a steady rise in both interim and final dividends since 2018. They promised paying at least N1 as interim dividend this year (that was before the CBN directive on forbearance). We watch and see, but I think Access might have the best % dividend in the industry this year(if CBN does not intervene) I mean above 10% dividend yield |
Agbalowomeri:One banking result this new month with confirmation of interim dividend will just change the trend for the banking sector |
yMcy56:It the same result they posted last week they reposted.
|
yMcy56:The deal cannot be concluded until all suits are settled. They are still at preliminary stages of their suit. In fact the suit has been put on hold pending the determination of an appeal at the court of appeal. This their deal might not have SEC approval until that suit is settled. It is only when SEV approves that they can make the communication on NSE and then the MTO. Meanwhile e be like say Ellah don release another thing today by way of publication |
2zona:People have been dieing from accidents involving dangote trucks and other trucks including lafarge, BUA etc for years. Very unfortunate but I do not think it will affect share prices. It's more of an issue for the insurance companies and I am aware Dangote spends a lot on insurance. VDM has a very powerful voice but I doubt if his voice is powerful enough to harm dangote's interests |
emmanuelewumi:The problem with Access is that the managers are not just into pushing up of prices like UBA and others. Even when they did their RI, the refused to push it up for better outcome |
Ddll:Pls add Access to the analysis. E get why |
mikeapollo:lol. E shock you? 4×4 They want to kill this business |
handsomebolanle:Na yeye stock be that. I am heavy there sha. The thing is just giving me daily fall in portfolio value |
mikeapollo:If true, 1.3trillion might not be that much considering the companies on NSE with huge foreign based shareholder/ownership structure eg Lafarge, MTN, Nestle, etc |
SonofElElyonRet:Chai. Hope you know some pple bought at 90? |
Streetinvestor2:about N70 |
Seplat quarterly interim dividend just landed. Weekend begins immediately |
Streetinvestor2:Wow so you are into oil palm plantation. I have a small piece of land I want to use for same but pple just dey discourage me up to the low returns compared to the huge cost of setting it up. The one you said produces with 3-4yrs should be the Tenera variety. But I hear say wayo dey oil business. You may buy them thinking it's the NIFOR Tenera variety only for the thing to stay 6yrs before fruiting. But the real NIFOR Tenera with good spacing and fertilizer should start fruiting in 3yrs |
megawealth01:Wetin do first bank. Access sold over 80milliin shares yet no price appreciation abi somebody dey drop? Aradel also doing serious volume these days with falling prices. I am seriously confused about where to put small cash wey come my hand via beta glass. Should i go for more Aradel or add more Seplat. Both are tempting. Renaissance just increased production on their new asset by over 100%, while Seplat new ANOH plant will be commissioned next month, also with increased production of both gas and crude. |
Streetinvestor2:I am not in Ellah anymore but I doubt the projection of 1.2billion in Profit after tax, or 4billion Revenue. N250billion is not moi moi. If they buy a farm that expensive by year end, such plantation should yield way over that sum in revenue and profit after tax. If N250billion cannot give up to 25billion in revenue then they better invest the money in Bonds and make over 40billion per year. |
zendi:He did not quit as CEO. He is still the MD/CEO. He only left the board of directors in compliance with the new CBN directive on membership of the board. |
Beta glass, slow and steady movement. Now N486 Up by N37.15 |
mikeapollo:You are quoting Chathamhouse. Also add World bank and IMF. All those people that keep feeding us with lies and making us devalue since 1986. Meanwhile the Europeans and Americans do not take their advice or methodology in their times of crisis. What devaluation does to us is to make our raw materials cheap for the Americans and Europeans. It would have been beneficial if we were a producing economy and not an importer. With devaluation, it's now more expensive to buy the machinery needed to industrialize. Eg a block moulder that would have bought a block moulding machine from china at $1million, will now spend N1.5billion at current exchange rate of N1,500/$ as against N700million using the pre-devaluation rate of N700. If you also do the maths by calculating the money shared monthly between the FG, states and local governments you will realise that it has not really changed from the subsidy/ pre-devaluation era. In dollar terms, it is almost the same. The current government really need to explain the gains from the subsidy removal |
For the sake of investors in this platform, I just pray Transcorp power price does not fall to meet the Oga ( Transcorp plc) at sub 50. |
ogawisdom:They need to pay about half of the profit to match that N2 dividend for last year. I doubt if CBN will let them pay that much |
ojesymsym:Most movement in the last two years should go to Wema. But futurewise, one can gamble with Access despite the huge OS. Their current price is relatively a bargain |
ogawisdom:Fidelity should have over 70billion OS when they recapitalise. Them go sweat to pay N1 dividend. UBA should have about 44 billion OS after recapitalisation |
chimex38:They need to give us some respect. Why always using the same format like we don't know anything anymore. Watch and see, before the next election they will also come up with the same story: Naija fx hits $40 billion |
What is it with Nigerian Fx reserve and $40 billion. Since 2017, the fx reserve has been hitting $40 billion. Under Tinubu's regime, it has hit $40 billion over 3 times on the news. Na wa oh
|
Beta glass keeps getting better. Now on full bid. Maximum gain for the day |
