I saw this on facebook and decided to share it here. DRUG TRAFFICKING: Countries & Penance. Malaysia - Death Penalty (not negotiable) China - Death Penalty (Short & simple) Vietnam (above 1.3 pounds of heroin) - Death penalty (not negotiable). Iran - Very Large fine or death penalty. Thailand - death penalty (No strory) Dubai - Dealers-death penalty, Users - 4 yrs imprisonment & deportation, Saudi Arabia-death penalty (No story) Singapore-death penalty(dealer or user) Cambodia - Life imprisonment Indonesia - Death penalty (not negotiable) North Korea- Lengthy imprisonment with no contact with friends and family. Philippines - Death penalty (not negotiable) Turkey - Very Large fines and long prison sentence Costa Rica - Very long prison sentence Columbia - long time in very unpleasant prison. You will likely be killed by another prisoner. -------------------------- Advise yourself, your family members and your friends against drug trafficking. There is nothing heroic about being a drug peddler; as your major claim to fame is being responsible for destroying a lot of lives in any country you strike and succeed. And some countries will not tolerate it. They will put your to pasture when caught. There is nothing cool about been so greedy that your life means nothing to you; that you are willing to face a firing squad. An ignoble death. Those clapping for drug peddlers do not mean well for them. They are encouraging you to keep on doing what will lead to your shameful doom. Nothing heroic about it. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10208298528355007&id=1057749872&refid=7&_ft_=qid.6331348365675518606%3Amf_story_key.2178782793666507452&__tn__=%2As

The Police in Kogi on Thursday arraigned Mohammed Audu, son of the former governor of the state, the late Prince Abubakar Audu, for robbery and attempted cul pable homicide at a Lokoja Magistrates’ Court. You no get job, you just dey fire dey born and you went to another man country to be claiming right. Is this man alright at all? *Laughs* Are they (he and his wife) serious? That is the question The Sun UK asked. The man and his wife say what they need from council is a free 6-double-bedrooms for them and their eight children. Trust Oyinbo people in UK. They have lambasted him, some saying he should go back to Africa and tell his government to provide him with even a free one-bedroom flat and see what he'll get. Photos have emerged of one of the council houses turned down by the migrant family-of-10 because it was too small – and “didn’t even have a dining room”. Cameroon-born Arnold Mballe Sube, 33, came to Britain with his wife Jeanne and their 7 children four years ago because the NHS agreed to fund a £27,000 degree for him. The dad-of-eight has since bagged £108,000 hand- outs in a year. The family, since boosted by the arrival of a three-month-old daughter, now live in a four-bed house, kitted out with big flatscreen tellies , games devices and a Sky HD box. But Arnold, whose family ran up a £21,000 bill for food when the council put them in a hotel for four months, wants out of “the worst place they have ever lived.” Lol! He is furious at only being offered a five-bedroom property. He said: “ There wasn’t space for the things of ten people. It didn’t even have a dining room.” Arnold, who uses one bedroom as a gym/office, said: “Me and my family have been neglected. We are living in a three-bedroom house and there’s not enough room for us. “It’s so cramped and the conditions are terrible. My children are starting school and we can’t stay here any longer. The council is trying to make things hard for us. My wife is a full-time mother and I am a student. They’re just making excuses. “ We need a five or six-bedroom house with double rooms to comfortably fit our family.” Arnold moved to France at 18 and started a family with Jeanne, both from Cameroon. He wanted to study psychiatric nursing but failed to find a suitable course so moved to Britain with seven children. The NHS funded the annual £9,000 cost of his three-year degree at the University of Bedfordshire while they were housed in a five-bed council property in Luton. They were evicted when the landlord decided to sell. So the council booked them into two rooms at the town’s £160-per-night Hampton by Hilton hotel for four months at a cost of £38,400 . When Arnold refused to pay the extra £21,000 room service and restaurant bill run up by the family, the council coughed for that too. Arnold said: “We couldn’t cook. Children were eating on the carpet. We were ordering room service, chicken and chips, Chinese food. We had to order it twice per day for all the kids and all the family. “The council said I had to pay a bill for living in the hotel. That was very traumatising because we didn’t ask for them to put us there.” The couple were then moved into a four-bed house in Bletchley, Bucks, but complained because it is too small, especially with the arrival of their last daughter Mary, now three months. Arnold and Jeanne, 33, both have smartphones, a laptop, with a 60inch flatscreen TV and Sky HD box in their front room, plus a 52inch telly in their bedroom. Their children — Mejane, 16, Fabian, 13, Analia, 13, Prosper, 10, Dylan, nine, six-year-old twins Sharon and Stacy, and baby Mary — also have a TV and an Xbox with dozens of games. The family have received annual hand-outs worth £44,000 since their arrival. It is made up of housing and child benefits, as well as child tax credits and Arnold’s NHS course payments. But their hotel stay has pushed that total to £108,000 in the last 12 months. Yet unhappy Arnold, who was offered a five-bed property last month, said: “ We are entitled to six bedrooms. I believe that the council has to support me in order for me to become a positive person and contribute to the tax system .” UK citizens react A neighbour said last night: “They’ve got some cheek. I’d bite the council’s hand off if they offered me a five-bed house. They’re too fussy and they shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it.” Another said: “I think it’s a disgrace. There are people out on the streets in the city centre and ex- soldiers with nowhere to live. It is a struggle but don’t go on and moan about it.” Councillor Tom Shaw, responsible for housing at Luton Borough Council, said: “We have managed to find them a large four-bed house and then a five- bed which they turned down. “We can’t be any more sympathetic. We can’t just magic property that people want out of thin air.” Antonio Lambis said, "Send them back to their f@cking country. That is the right thing to do. Oh and by the way, I am a UK taxpayer." - Arnold should count himself lucky that he's in a country where there is a thing called 'government'.

WHY I CONVERTED TO ISLAM – Emmanuel Adebayor
I GOT 13 VALID REASONS WHY AND HOW MUSLIMS
ARE LIKE JESUS ( PBUH ) AND TRUER FOLLOWERS OF
JESUS THAN MOST CHRISTIANS BELIEVE :
1. Jesus ( Pbuh ) taught that there is only One God
and Only God should be worshipped as taught in
Deut 6:4, Mark 12:29. Muslims also believe this as
taught in the Qur’an verse 4:171.
2. Jesus ( Pbuh ) didn’t eat pork as taught in Leviticus
11:7 , and neither do Muslims as taught
in the Qur’an verse 6:145.
3. Jesus ( Pbuh ) greeted with the words “as salaamu
alaikum” ( Peace be with you ) in John 20:21. Muslims
also greet each other this way.
4. Jesus ( Pbuh ) always said “God
Willing” ( Inshallah ), Muslims say this too before
doing anything as taught in the Qur’an verses
18:23-24.
5. Jesus ( Pbuh ) washed his face, hands, and feet
before praying. The Muslims do the same.
6. Jesus ( Pbuh ) and other prophets of the Bible
prayed with their head to the ground ( See Matthew
26:39 ). Muslims do too as taught in the Qur’an verse
3:43.
7. Jesus ( Pbuh ) had a beard and wore a throbe. It is
Sunnah for Muslim men to do the same.
8. Jesus ( Pbuh ) followed the law and believed in all
the prophets,
( see Matthew 5:17 ). Muslims do
too as taught in the Qur’an verses 3:84, and 2:285.
9. Jesus’ mother Maryam ( Pbut ) dressed modestly
by fully covering her body and wearing a headscarf
( hijab ) as found in 1 Timothy 2:9, Genesis 24:64-65,
and Corinthians 11:6. Muslim
women modestly dress the same as taught in the
Qur’an verse 33:59.
10. Jesus ( Pbuh ) and other prophets of the Bible
fasted up to 40 days (see Exodus 34:28, Daniel
10:2-6. 1Kings 19:8, and Matthew 4:1-Muslims do so
also during the month of Ramadan.
Muslims are required to fast the full obligatory 30
days ( See Qur’an 2:183 ), and others take it a step
further by fasting an additional 6 days to increase
their rewards.
11. Jesus ( Pbuh ) taught to say “Peace to this house”
when entering it
( See Luke 10:5 ), and to also greet the people in the
house with “peace be unto you”. Muslims do exactly
what Jesus did and taught. When we enter our homes
and the homes of others we say “Bismillah” and also
greet with “as salaamu alaikum” ( Peace be upon you )
as taught in the Qur’an verse 24:61.
12. Jesus ( Pbuh ) was circumcised. Circumcision is 1
of the 5 fitrah in Islam, so Muslim men are required
to be circumcised. According to the Bible in Luke
2:21, Jesus was eight days old when he was
circumcised. In the Torah, Allah/God stated to the
Prophet Abraham ( Pbuh ) that it is an
“Everlasting covenant”
( See Genesis 17:13 ). In the Qur’an verse 16:123
Muslims are required to
follow the religion of Abraham. The Prophet
Muhammad ( SWS ) said, “The Prophet Abraham
circumcised himself when he was eighty years old.”
( See Sahih hadith Bukhari, Muslim, and
Ahmad ).
13. Jesus ( Pbuh ) spoke aramaic and called
God”Elah”, which is pronounced the same as
“Allah”. Aramaic is an ancient, Biblical language. It is
one of the Semitic languages that also include
Hebrew, Arabic, Ethiopic and the ancient Assyrian and
Babylonian language of Akkadian.
The Aramaic”Elah” and the Arabic “Allah” are the
same.
The Aramaic “Elah” is derived from the Arabic “Allah”,
and it means “GOD”. “Allah” in Arabic also
means”GOD”, the Supreme GOD Almighty. You can
easilysee the similarity in their pronunciation so this
concludes that the God of Jesus is also the God of the
Muslims, of all mankind, and all that exist.
Now tell me who is the real follower of jesus
( Pbuh ) ? Obviously Muslims. Now I believe am a
true follower of Jesus PBUH |

Turkey has allowed policewomen to wear the hijab as part of their uniforms for the first time. Female police officers “will be able to cover their heads” under their caps or berets with a headscarf “the same colour as the uniform and without pattern” while on duty, the official gazette said on Saturday. Rulings published in the official gazette come into force immediately, AFP reports. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s Islamist- rooted Justice and Development Party (AKP) has pushed for restrictions on women wearing the hijab to be relaxed and the move follows similar changes in Turkish regulation. In 2010, an official ban on headscarves in universities was lifted throughout the country. Three years later, women were allowed to wear the hijab in state institutions and the prohibition was abandoned for students in high schools in 2014. The moves have led some to accuse President Erdogan of attempting to reinterpret Turkey’s secularist constitution, the BBC. Turkey has been an officially secular state with no state religion since the Turkish republic was established in 1923. But the country’s pro-government media have noted that several Western nations have relaxed restrictions over wearing headscarves . On Thursday, Police Scotland announced the hijab will become part of its official uniform, with the hope of creating a more diverse force. Muslim blood donor won't take off her hijab or be driven by fear 'because then the terrorists win' The force said they hope the move will “encourage women from Muslim communities, who may previously not have seen policing as a career option to reconsider.” The Canadian government also said this week The Royal Canadian Mounted Police would allow its officers to wear hijabs as part of their uniforms in an effort to boost the recruitment of Muslim women. The announcement also follows a ruling by France’s highest administrative court that “burkini bans” enforced at some of the country’s beach resorts are illegal and a violation of fundamental liberties. www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/turkey-hijab-headscarf-police-officers-uniform-approved-muslim-women-a7213861.html?cmpid=facebook-post |

punchng.com/sexual-harassment-delsu-sacks-six-lecturers-2/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter |
Delta State University recently sacked six of its lecturers for their involvement in several offences including alleged sexual harassment of female students. The sacking of the lecturers at DELSU is a welcome development for stakeholders in the education sector. It is a step in the right direction and I believe it would sound a note of warning to all erring lecturers. It would also encourage other higher institutions in Nigeria to discipline lecturers who are found wanting. The challenge of sexual harassment in academic establishments has existed for generations, and sadly, it has become a norm despite the obvious iniquitousness in the act by lecturers. Recently, a female student at the Osun State University set up a lecturer who had been pestering her for sex. She gave in to his demands but unknown to the lecturer; she gave in because she wanted to obtain documentary evidence. She made a video of her and the lecturer in a room at a hotel. The lecturer described the video as a lie, but investigations are still on-going to unveil the truth. The tides have changed and lecturers must be aware that their acts would not be tolerated and are liable to face public ridicule if they are caught. Some lecturers in institutions flagrantly perform their heinous acts on mostly innocent female undergraduates and have turned their schools to brothels where sex trades for good grades. It is unfortunate that the so called ‘custodians of knowledge’ in our academic institutions have tarnished and degraded their sacrosanct role in the society for sexual pleasure. No wonder our academic institutions are not moving forward and making strides like other institutions globally. punchng.com/sexual-harassment-delsu-sacks-six-lecturers2/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter |
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission
(EFCC) says N1,956,007,975.81 has accrued to
government as interest from the public funds sized
from a former Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Tafa
Balogun, and other suspects under investigation or
trial.
N2.25billion was confiscated from Balogun alone.
The amount was deposited in 11 accounts, according
to records put together by the agency.
The EFCC document sighted by The Nation also shows
that seized properties from the founder of the
defunct Intercontinental Bank Erastus Akingbola,
former Edo State Governor Lucky Igbinedion,
former Plateau State Governor Joshua Dariye and
seven other highly-placed people under
investigation ,have yielded about N185.6million as
rents for government.
The other suspects in this category are: Alhaji Tukur
Muazu, Bayo Lawal, Kayode Ojuri, Timothy Akani,
Esai Dangabar, Aliyu Bello and John Yusuf Yakubu.
Similarly, the EFCC took over 75 money laundering
cases involving drug barons from the National Drugs
Law Enforcement Agency ( NDLEA) between 2006
and 2013.
EFCC sources told The Nation that the records were
put together following controversy generated by the
assets seized from the former IGP.
Balogun resigned his appointment as the IGP on
January 18, 2005 following the uncovering of a huge
amount in his accounts by the EFCC under its pioneer
chairman, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.
But 11years after, some critics alleged that cash and
assets seized from Balogun had been re-looted.
The EFCC records sighted by The Nation says in part:
“A total of 15 Spring Bank accounts were forfeited by
Mr. Tafa Balogun. Of this number, four accounts had
NIL (zero) balance.
“The total balance in the remaining 11 accounts as of
January 2005 was N1, 226,518,163.09. In addition to
this, seven treasury bills/commercial papers in the
same bank had a total balance of N1, 017, 178,
719.42.
“The two added together came up to N2,
243,696,882.51. With the addition of the accrued
interest of N14, 403,634.36, the figure came to N2,
258,100,516.87.
“This sum was what was paid to the commission by
Spring Bank and eventually remitted to the Federal
Government, through the Federal Ministry of
Finance.”
But the commission said that some assets of the
former IGP were yet to be disposed of because of
legal disputes.
Continuing, the EFCC says: “There were legal issues
on some of the properties recovered from Tafa
Balogun. Other claimants emerged, with claims to
the properties. The cases include the property at
Plot 2220 Suez Crescent, Zone 4, Abuja, which the
Commission eventually won in 2013, while the other
involved a property at Plot 1488, Fugar Street,
Asokoro which case the Commission lost in 2014.
"Apart from the Fugar Street Asokoro property that
is now a subject of appeal by the EFCC; three other
properties forfeited by Tafa Balogun are yet to be
disposed of. One of the properties is located at Plot
110, Tunis Street, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja.
"Meanwhile, the total sum of N46,358,393.15
generated from the management of the property by
Diya Fatimilehin & Co since 2009 was remitted to
the Commission at various times.
"The remitted sum is in the Commission’s recovery
account. The remaining two properties which
appeared on the forfeiture order as Plot 75, Asokoro
and Plot 2262B Maitama A6 District, Abuja, are also
subject of legal disputes.”
The EFCC also admitted that it raked in about
N1,956,007,975.81 from forfeited funds placed in
interest yielding accounts.
It says: “The placement of forfeited monies in
interest yielding accounts is not an entirely new
idea. The court in various rulings ordered some
funds to be placed in interest yielding accounts.
“Rather than warehousing forfeited funds in current
accounts for a long period, the commission lodged
such funds, including those of Tafa Balogun, in
interest yielding accounts.
“The interest element is always in line with CBN Cash
Reserve Ratio and not fixed. Not a single kobo is
taken out by the commission under this initiative."
It is interesting to note that under this initiative, as
at March 2015, the sum of N696, 590,765.36 was
generated as interest on recovered funds with
Access Bank Plc.
“Another sum of N522,807,543.83 presently stands
as interest generated from recovered funds with
Ecobank Plc, while the subsidy recoveries with
Enterprise Bank Plc has yielded the sum of
N736,609,666.62. All these monies are intact and
are held on behalf of the Federal Government until
all encumbrances to their release are cleared.
“For purposes of transparency and accountability, the
commission sought and obtained approval to
operate a dedicated interest income account vide a
letter from the Office of the Accountant General of
the Federation Ref. No. AGF/TRY/RB/441/VOL.I/128
dated 3rd December, 2012.”
Meanwhile, about N185.6million was collected as

Buhari Tells Emir Sanusi &
Others: "Advise Me In Writing"
Following blistering public remarks on his economic
policies by the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido,
President Muhammadu Buhari has requested top
traditional rulers in the country to henceforth put
their advice across to him in private written memos.
Buhari made the request through the Alaafin of Oyo,
Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, who visited him at the
Presidential Villa as follow up on a private memo he
wrote to him on the state of the nation.
The Emir of Kano, who is the immediate past
Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) had
on Wednesday used a public function in Kaduna to
blast Buhari’s handling of the economy, particularly
the unproductive subsidy on certain foreign
exchange transactions.
Emerging from his meeting with the President, Oba
Adeyemi told State House correspondents that the
President invited him over on the strength of the
advice contained in his written memo.
The revered monarch said “As a Nigerian and one of
the topmost traditional rulers in the country, I sent a
memorandum to the President which he
acknowledged and asked me to come and endorse
those things I have written.
“I think it was time for me to use the proper channel
to reach the President for suggestions and advice.
Where he deserves commendation, I should also do
that especially as it concerns the multi-dimensional
problems Nigeria is facing like the Avengers and
bombing of oil installations, MEND and Boko Haram
insurgency in the North East.”
According to the Alafin, “The President listened
attentively and has asked me to pass the information
to other traditional rulers in my domain to assist the
government by giving advice because he is a good
listener; but that such advice should be put in writing
so that he can then relate it to the problems
affecting Nigeria.”
He commended the President for acting swiftly to
flush out criminal elements that wanted to extend
militancy to Lagos and the rest of South-West. www.olufamous.com/2016/08/buhari-tells-emir-sanusi-others-advise.html?m=1 |

Think about this can Nigeria be better again? If yes who can make it a better Country? Starting from Babangida to Abacha to Abdulsalam to Obasanjo to Yar'adua to Jonathan to Buhari. Yet Nigeria is still not what we want it to be. Please is there anybody or party that can make Nigeria a better place? |
