Good bless the federal republic of Nigeria and its leaders. IPOB and its leaders. |
21st September, 2017 PRESS RELEASE: OPPOSITION TO SUKUK: CAN IS PLAYING ‘DOG IN THE MANGER’ The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) issued a press statement yesterday to protest against the Federal Government’s first ever sukuk (noninterest lease assets facilities) which was announced last week. The statement which was dated 19th September, 2017 was signed by CAN’s General Secretary, Rev. Dr. Musa Asake. The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) considers CAN’s position demeaning. It is not only infantile, petty and overbearing but also spiteful and egocentric. Our position is based on the fact that CAN has all it needs in Nigeria today because the whole system is Christo-Western: education, the judicial system, the economy, everything. Muslims who were deprived of all their Islamic landmarks and ways of life by the colonialists are constrained to start the struggle all over again by demanding Shari’ah, use of hijab in schools, Islamic banks, sukuk, etc. It must be made clear ab initio that Nigerian Muslims had all these before the advent of the British colonialists who changed everything in favour of Christianity. There is nothing the Muslims are demanding now that the Christians don’t have already on a platter of gold. It must also be stated that the Christians do not need the things that the Muslims are asking for. Why should somebody keep blocking his brother from getting his own share when he already has his own? The fable of the dog in the manger is quite didactic in this regard. A British dog in the 13th century was fed with meat until its belly was full. Then the owner took hay (dry grass which only the horse needed and it is useless to the dog) and gave it to the horse. The dog had eaten and it was now the horse’s turn. Surprisingly, the dog started barking. It jumped on the hay and kept the horse at bay. ‘Dog in the manger’ has since become an English idiom. We must now ask CAN why it is playing #dog in the manger. Shari‘ah is not for them but CAN screamed until the roofs nearly came down. OIC does not hurt any Christian but CAN shouted to high heavens. Hijab is for female Muslims alone but violent envy pushed CAN to shout itself hoarse. Islamic bank is for Muslims alone but CAN labeled it Islamisation of Nigeria. Can CAN give us a list of those who have been Islamised since Islamic banking started in the country? CAN leadership has become a professional false alarmist, a dog in the manger. To reject the existence of #sukuk pari passu with # Islamic # banking is like demanding that the agricultural sector should operate without bringing harvests to the markets or that hospitals should exist without pharmacies and laboratories. Having fought rigorously and bitterly against the establishment of the Islamic bank in Nigeria without success, our Christian neighbours seek to strangulate Islamic banks in the country. We are constrained to ask, “How Christian is the Christian Association of Nigeria?” Every good Christian wants to be like Jesus and he turns this idea of emulating Jesus to a song. We have no doubt that # CAN leaders also sing the song. But how sincere are they about emulating Jesus? Jesus says, “Love your neighbour according to thy self” ( #Mark 12:31) but #CAN leaders do the exact opposite. There are lots of good Christians in Nigeria and we interact very well but why must the petty ones always lead them? They are a belligerent lot, warlike and aggressive. Have they ever seen Muslims opposing a benefit going to Christians? We did not protest when you started going to Jerusalem even though we know that it is not mandatory for Christians. You enjoy Western banking system, Western education, common law, etc without any protest from us. Why is it that #CAN always cries foul each time we seek parity? #CAN’s claim that #sukuk is unconstitutional is false, baseless and misleading. How can laws made by the Federal Government be ultra vires? CAN is misleading |

THE MAN IS HUNGRY LOOKING FOR FOOD ( Nnamdi Kanu). Nnamdi Kanu attended University of Nigeria (Nsukka) with the help of Federal Government of Nigeria scholarship grant. 2) Nnamdi Kanu was born in 1972 implying that he never experienced Biafra- Nigeria civil war (1967-1970) and the resultant horrors 3) The father of Nnamdi Kanu is a village head in Abia State (Nigeria) who receive monthly salary from Federal Government of Nigeria. 4) Nnamdi Kanu's wife and children are british citizens who cannot speak Igbo language 5) Nnamdi Kanu is a british citizen. (Note): if there is war in Nigeria today, Britain will send warship to Nigeria and rescue Nnamdi Kanu back to London leaving behind his 'blind, deaf and dumb' supporters to suffer effects of war. 6) Nnamdi Kanu said he is of Jewish Religion. (Note): Reading books from two foremost Igbo historians (Professor Ifeatu Afigbo and Professor Kenneth Dike), i was made to understand that there is no place for Jewish Religion in Igboland. Rather, the Igbos are usually Catholics, Anglicans and Traditionalists 7) Nnamdi Kanu said he is greater compared to Jesus Christ. (Note): With this statement, it is glaring to state here that Nnamdi Kanu is mentally deranged. Thanks. Ibrahim Bello |

Who is trying to cause national unrest if not your so called believers? Who criticise everything as an act of Islamizing Nigeria? Who are ganging against Christians? What for? just concentrate on deceiving your followers one day your secrets shall be known. They cry everyday that someone is trying to Islamize Nigeria, everyday they cry this worthless cries, efforts they suppose to put in luring their so call believers to stop prostitution, kidnapping, armed robbery and using fellow human as sacrifice to build their mighty churches they're busy crying Islamization everyday. Mwteeech Iranu, abasha this is nonsense |
FEMI FANI KAYODE THE EVANGELICAL CRIMINAL Femi Fani Kayode is certainly insane. A real extremist which his fellow trouble makers and fellow fanatics never talk about but busy calling the likes of Prof Is-haq Oloyede an extremist. You're doom, evil, cursed and abrogated for calling President Muhammad Buhari is a son of perdition and a tyrannical servant of satan. You and your ancestors and your entire generation are servants of Satan, your thirst for sex is unhidden, OBJ once called you a woman rapper, an evangelist who can't live with a woman for five good years without divorce, the public looter evangelist, make sure you return those hundreds of millions, else. You father is a traitor to Yoruba race. We are no longer surprise of your insanity, I pray that may Almighty God forgive your sins and make you repent from your evil political tussle which you cover up in the name of Religion. “The hottest part of hell will be reserved for those who in times of moral crisis maintain their neutrality” – Dante Alighieri , Italian philosopher Nigeria is today facing the greatest moral challenge of all times , perhaps , in all of human history, in the name of a voluntary amnesty bill currently before the National Assembly . This bill is proposed by Linus Okorie, representing Ohaozara / Onicha/ Ivo federal constituency of Ebonyi State in the House of Representatives. This bill , as we write , has gone through the first reading (meaning that it is on the express way to being passed already ) . In a nutshell, the Voluntary Amnesty Bill seeks to provide amnesty for those with illicit (ill- gotten or questionable wealth) not only from prosecution , but also from being asked questions about the sources of their income . These could be Nigerians (or foreigners operating in Nigeria ) who either looted the treasury over the years , trafficked in hard drugs, kidnappers or armed robbers , as long as such persons can declare the money and pay a tax and surcharge of about 37 .5 per cent to the government . On receipt of this tax and signing of the declaration form, Nigeria and Nigerians are expected to shut up and forever keep their peace . No court in the land or persons can prosecute the declaration. One may ask, why has this bill suddenly come up ? The background to this bill , which some have aptly described as an “economic and moral terrorism ”, includes : 1 . The Executive Order given by the Federal Government which grants a time - bound amnesty ending December 31 , 2017 to people of legitimate means who however have not been paying taxes on such income wherever the assets may be located . This amnesty does not extend to people of questionable means; and, 2. With effect from January 1 , 2018, Nigeria ’ s membership of the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes Convention comes into force . This convention makes it obligatory for all member countries to declare all foreign - owned assets ( including moneys in any form and physical assets including buildings and so on ) in their jurisdictions . This will expose all Nigerians with legitimate and illegitimate assets and they are likely to lose all of these assets especially the ill- gotten ones . For those members of the National Assembly , and their collaborators- in - crime , who are involved in this coup against humanity and moral terrorism , it is a race against time to beat the December 31, 2017 deadline to find a legal means of bringing in their illicit money. There are other corrupt Nigerians who do not feel threatened yet by what is to come on January 1 , 2018 because the countries where they stashed away their own dirty monies are not yet signatories to this convention . One wonders what form of brigandage they will express when their own turn comes to be afraid. Will they not unleash Armageddon on Nigerians and probably the world ? It is amazing that these are people who worship with us in our churches and mosques . Our children see them as successful and hope to be like them . They are moral terrorists in our places of worship . It is not too late for us Nigerians to take action. 1 . Let us find and read copies of this bill and translate it into our local languages so that all Nigerians will understand it ; 2. Let us mobilise and march on the National Assembly to register our protest ; 3. Let us invite our representatives in the National Assembly to come and explain their parts in this heinous bill 4. Let us march on the embassies of all the countries we know harbour illicit wealth from Nigerians to sign into the Transparency Convention ; 5. And , let us demand that our religious leaders declare war on corruption and corrupt people . Enough is enough . We must take Nigeria back –Dr Azim ‘ Kunle Ashimi , President , Association of Professionals for Promotion of Civic Values , Lagos http://punchng.com/national-assemblys-amnesty-bill-of-evil/ |

Abuja – The management of the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC) says that Christian Religious Knowledge (CRK) is still being taught in schools as a separate distinct subject with the accompanying Teachers’ Guide. Pupils of Methodist Nursery/Primary School, Oshodi, Lagos resume for a new term after the Christmas and New Year celebration. Photo: Diran Oshe Prof. Ismail Junaidu, Executive Secretary, NERDC made this known in a statement in Abuja on Tuesday. Junaidu called on Nigerians to discard reports from some quarters that the subject had been removed from the schools curriculum. “The Management of NERDC hereby reiterates categorically and unequivocally to all Nigerians that the subject offerings (Civic Education, Social Studies, Christian Religious Knowledge, Islamic Studies and Security Education) under the Religion and National Values Curriculum are distinct. ” The subjects are as listed and taught separately on the time table. “In this Curriculum, no child should be coerced or compelled to learn or be taught in school any religious studies subject but only one (out of the two) that restrictively relates to the belief system professed by the child and his/her parents.” Junaidu added that teachers had been trained in the six geopolitical zones to be able to teach these distinct subjects. He said the teachers were also aware of the mode of teaching the Religion and National Values Curriculum as distinct subjects on the time table. “In view of the claims therefore, NERDC hereby states that CRK is still taught in schools as a separate distinct subject with the accompanying Teachers’ Guide. “CRK is not a theme in Civic Education. Civic Education is a distinct subject on its own which teaches the rudiments of good citizenship. “There is no subject in the Nigerian School Curriculum called Islamic Arabic Studies nor anywhere in the world as being speculated,” he said. He added that French was a compulsory subject from Primary 4 as dictated by the National Policy on Education Section 2, sub-section 23.7p 13. The executive secretary said efforts were in top gear to print the Christian Religious Knowledge and Islamic Studies Curriculum separately in order to maintain their characteristics and distinctiveness. “NERDC stands for integrity and excellence in educational research and development. “The management stands for education for human dignity, economic reconstruction and value reorientation. “We, therefore, sincerely appeal to politicians and fifth columnist to desist from dragging education into the political melee capable of destabilising the education sector and mortgaging the future of upcoming generation of Nigerians,” he said. He said that at the commencement of the present administration, the Minister of Education sought and obtained the approval of the National Council on Education to make CRK and IRK compulsory for Christian and Muslim students respectively. He, however, said that the claims peddled on social media platforms and a national daily are speculative, false and unfounded. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/06/nerdc-says-crk-not-removed-from-schools-curriculum/ |
