American R and b singer Keri Hilson posted on her page eight years ago that she listened to a nigerian artiste song and he kept repeating the same lyrics "Make you leak yaa speakers http://www./2011/10/keri-hilson-takes-shot-at-nigerian.html#ixzz1c6Oih3Nx According to a report, the Nigerian music industry was worth $40 million in 2011 and $47m last year. By 2020 this figure is expected to reach $86m.Unarguably, the Nigerian Music Industry is Africa’s largest depot of talented, industrious, creative, budding and evolving musicians who have taken Nigerian music to the world stage. Such names as the renowned Fela, Tu Face Idibia, Don Jazzy, Davido, Olamide, Wizkid, Flavour, Dbanj, Psquare, Banky W, Tiwa Savage, Asa, M.I, Ice Prince, Wande coal, et al are household names making waves in Africa and the world. The quality and style of music being dished out by upcoming and established acts can only be A-classed. Can keri hilson whose music career is burning away like a candle stick still go to twitter and post such comment about Nigerian music today? Cc.. Lalasticlala

The pull out method involves ejaculating outside the vagina during sex to prevent pregnancy. Obviously, it is not a good protection against STDs and its effectiveness with regards to preventing unwanted pregnancy has always been a topic of controversy. I would like our skin to skin brothers to share their experiences with us.. Does it really prevent pregnancy? Cc.. Lalasticlala |
We are in the middle of the rainy season and these creatures called mosquito are in abundance. You know the female anopheles mosquito gives malaria. Only female mosquitoes take mammalian blood. They use the protein and iron found in blood to make their eggs. While the male only feeds on nectar and water. There is one thing about these creatures that i find hard to understand...Why do they buzz in our ears??

Clothing: Members of the nbm have a uniform of sorts that consists of black, white and yellow clothing (black trousers, white shirt, yellow tie, yellow ribbon on cap) which symbolizes the following: Black signifies identification with the black race and the dignity thereof, white signifies peace and purity of mind and body, yellow signifies intellect. The color of the regalia depends on the rank of a member. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mqC0n8wzwg |

So when i saw the Brisket vs Biscuit Bone argument on Nairaland i decided to go check and confirm if my English teacher whom i first heard the word from didn't know that he was making a mistake. Today it’s the so called proper word for a Nigerian coinage of soft bones from beef called ‘biscuit bone’ So some smart by half internet user, decided that the word was brisket bone and not biscuit bone and it has as usual caught up, again with no one bothering to verify the veracity or otherwise. Me? my data is not only for Facebook or Instagram (my two favourite apps) Google is my indispensable one, so here goes: ‘Brisket is a CUT OF MEAT (emphasis mine) from the breast or lower chest of beef or veal. The beef brisket is one of the nine beef primal cuts, though the precise definition of the cut differs internationally. The brisket muscles include the superficial and deep pectorals. As cattle do not have collar bones, these muscles support about 60% of the body weight of standing/moving cattle. This requires a significant amount of connective tissue, so the resulting meat must be cooked correctly to tenderize the connective tissue. According to the Random House Dictionary of the English Language, Second Edition, the term derives from the Middle English brusket which comes from the earlier Old Norse brjósk, meaning cartilage. The cut overlies the sternum, ribs and connecting costal cartilages.’ So there you have it, there’s nothing like brisket bone. Whoever coined that phrase must have had a reason for that, mine would be probably the soft nature of the bones which is akin to biscuits. Don’t thank me, use your internet for intellectually stimulating questions and issues too! https://dailytimes.ng/education/actually-biscuit-bone-not-brisket-bone/amp/ |
There is this thing about the men in black now:they respond swiftly to cases of armed robbery attack and cult clashes.. The case of mr E(name witheld) is a good example. But will they ever stop collecting bribe at checkpoints? Will we ever wake up one day to hear that the Nigerian police has adopted modern methods of investigating crime rather than torture suspects, some of whom ain't guilty, to make say what is contrary to reality. Will our police stop chasing armed Robbers on foot? Someone would quote me by posting that we will get there cos Rome wasn't built in a day but its obvious that if Rome was built at the speed and attitude with which we are building our country then its Construction wouldn't have been completed at all.. |

Good development but i think there other areas that need urgent attentions.there is a stadium in eket alredy and the state government is still indebted to Julius berger after the construction of the giant stadium in Uyo, a project which i think is just an edifice as the facilities are yet to be fully utilized while our one-wing super eagles have lost virtually all the matches they played there. senator Godswill Akpabio, his predecessor was fond of embarking on white elephant projects in the name of good governance.. Go to the interior parts of the state and you will see abject poverty and complete abandonment by government.Good government must not only be measured by what we hear from the mouths of our modern day slave masters called politicians but what is obtainable at the grassroot level because that is the root of democracy and good government. While the north is busy taking giant steps to reduce unemployment through the introduction of state npower programme like what is happening here in kebbi as well as reduce mass illiteracy through the payment of students bursary and granting of scholarships to indigenous students of tertiary institutions, southern governors are still bent on getting cheap popularity through white elephant projects like the proposed eket stadium. I think the already constructed eket stadium shud be renovated and its capacity increased if need be in the light of the growing rate of unemployment and recession.. Posterity shall judge us well if we do the right thing now |

My respect for this woman is now at an all time low.. |
ipobarecriminals:.. I was once like you insulting and cursing the Ipob guys not until i studied closely their goals and methods of making their grievances known. If only you studied the history of this country deeply to know how oppressive the northern elements are and what they have done to the igbos and Niger Deltans then you wouldn't have posted such comments.. |
tosyne2much:I think u shud have answered her question or ignored it rather than attack her for not clearly stating whom is the victim. |
tosyne2much:So the idea of Internet anonymity is still strange to you? Or u deliberately did that to get cheap popularity? |
simplyhonest:Does this also apply to the Nigerian political environment or its just a theory in one of our textbooks? |
Obviously, Shehu sani is the brain behind the move. I think El Rufai should be shown the way out of the government house for the killing of hundreds of Christians in southern kaduna as well as the so called kaduna declaration which was only made to cause fear and discourage the secessionists. Justice can be delayed atimes but it is inevitable. |
