That pastor is a real teacher of God's word. He is not interested in the money he will make through offerings and tithe but in the congregation. He wants them to have the mind and attitudes of Christ. We all need to practise what we profess. We need to have love for God and our neighbour.

I have followed this discussion from page one. I think the most important thing for Christians is to draw close to God. We should avoid deliberate sin and we should not be hypocritical in our service to God.
All this going to heaven, the arc-angel etc are secondary. The basic truth of the bible:
1. God is our creator and we ought to worship HIM in spirit and truth with our whole mind and our whole strength.
2. Jesus Christ is God's only-begotten son. He was with God in heaven before he came down to earth to die for our sins in lieu of the animal scrifices offered back then in Israel.
3. We all will be judged. There is a reward for those that will be declared righteous. The unrighteous shall be destroyed.

If you want to gain everlasting life, first thing is straighten your life and let it comform with bible standard.

However the truth is that Jesus Christ is not our almighty God. He is our saviour, our king of God's kingdom, our redeemer, our mighty god. He was formerly the arc-angel before he came down to earth.

Christians are under the law Of love. We give God our best, not just money.

Some pastors no longer teach their congregation the most important aspects of the Christian obligations to God namely: love joy, peace, long-suffering, mildness, kindness,....
They prefer their members to use any means to get money so that they can pay large sum of money as tithe.
Have you noticed that rich people have special prayers from pastors and special seats in the church. Most pastors collect money before you can become a deacon or deaconess.

Why didn't the government use the court system instead of Agberos having informed them (the church) legally their obligation to the government as presumably required by the law?

In another development, what contribution is the government of Ogun State making to subsidise that Nursery and Primary School. 1. The tax officials are educated and well-informed, they know the law and registration procedures of schools and other organisations. Since the school is a fee-paying school, they must pay tax. Jesus Christ did that too.
2. Do not be too emotional about you so-called man of God and his business-church just because you are a member. We need to put sentiments aside and face the issue of attack on government officials.
3. Remember Jesus Christ respected the government officials who came to arrest him, he corrected one of his apostles who attacked one of the officials.
4. You mentioned Agbero, may God forgive you over-zealous, brain-washed church-goer. Ogun state IRS officials are professionals. I am sure you were not at the scene of the show of shame the violent criminals in your church.

If u see any church where the central theme is miracle or prosperity or seed-sowing or tithe, that is a fake and false church. Don't be fooled, read your bible and join a church that preaches the truth. There is no miracle anywhere in ALL these churches. If you are sick, go to the hospital and pray for God's holly spirit to fortify you to get well soon. God will never do what you can do for yourself. God will only help you on what you can not do if you have faith in HIM.
