As a teacher, I have the previledge to say that
1. Gov Fashola is trying on education but it can be better
2. Education should not be totally free for all. They should collect at least 2000 per term and scholarship should be given to outstanding students. The 2000 can be the registration fee.

If education sector generates revenue for govt, I think it will be given better attention

I am a bit computer literate. I am good at using Microsoft word but as a teacher, I need to be able to draw some shapes which I cannot do with Microsoft word. I don't know how to use Corel draw. Is there any other simpler package that can help me draw 2d and 3d shapes? If not which Corel draw package should I go for that is easy to learn on my own. Pls I need meaningful comments and advice. All those whose children call by their first name got the rude idea from their mother. It is only a bastard child that lacks home training when it comes to showing respect. A well-trained child will not even try to call his/her elder brother/sister by name not to talk of parent.
What is this world turning to in the name of civilization?

Technocrats are not politicians. We need sound and transformational policies like this in health and education sectors. Agricultural sector in Nigeria is not bad too. The constitution is not in favour of economic development. Nigeria needs only one parliament. The salaries and entitlement of all government officials must be fixed and the rate of increment stated to avoid strike and fraud. EFCC should be free to investigate anybody including the president. The local governments should be strengthened and monitored. Finally government, must as a matter of urgency tackle corruption, medical facilities and education. Local and state govt should tackle primary healthcare , agriculture, road and security.

It is a welcome development. It would bring governance closer to the people. We are not interested in politics , politicking. We are interested in good governance that would provide good roads, electricity, economic empowerment and affordable health care.

pls do not insult God almighty. He has given us the free will to live our lives the way we want since our first parent had agreed to be like God. I am not going into bible lessons but I want you to know that God does not pre-determine our destiny. God is not partial, He does not distribute wealth, poverty, sickness and good health.
All the things that happen to us are either by our own cause, by accident or by wicked spirit forces. God sometimes prevent and protect HIS loyal ones but sometimes permit them to go through some difficult situations.

In conclusion, God does not pre-determine our destiny. Pls read the bible book of James chapter one.
