as for poor people anywhere outside Africa, remember, just because you earn more than what a MD may earn in Africa, doesnt mean you have a great life as a poor person in the west. the way you are thinking is the reason why so many people fail abroad, you believe that because someone earns $3k abroad (for example) then you will translate that to 4.5m Naira in Nigeria (today) and therefore deduct that a person earning $3k in the west has a better life than a MD making 2m monthly (for example) in Nigeria... and thats how most of you people fail to understand anything.

the MD in Nigeria with his 2m monthly salary will be able to afford a maid, a cook, a driver, driving a luxury car, possibly lives in a mansion, his children will be going to private schools etc, something that the person abroad earning $3k CAN NEVER ATTAIN with that miserable $3k salary.
