Some standard 10-inch tablets sell between $200 to $300 depending on the features; but converting that amount to Naira is always gonna be outrageous.

I didn't see any official information as about the Tecno Droipad 8 and Droipad 7. Anyway it was a tip of so we may be ahead of ourself.

LG is yet to officially announce the LG G4 Pro; don't fall for any device portraying to be so for now. The LG G4 is still the current flagship from LG.

After launching its first Android Lollipop tablet (and device); Tecno seems to have another bigger sized Windows OS tablet - the Tecno Winpad 10. 

The Tecno Winpad 10 features a 10.1-inch WXGA IPS display, powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot to expand storage up to 64GB. 

Other keys specs includes - 3G network support, micro HDMI port, 5MP/2MP front and rear camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Windows 8.1 OS and is backed by a 7000mAh battery. 

According to the email we received, the tablet is selling for N57,000 at Slot Nigeria in Lagos. It should be available on Konga and Jumia soon.

Just some days after unveiling the Innjoo Fire budget based phone, the company has teased the Innjoo Fire Pro which would bring some improvements. 

The Innjoo Note Pro is confirmed to come with 2GB of RAM, Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and support for 4G LTE networks. From the look of things we are dealing with a phablet here. 

What do you think the final specs would boil down to asides the 4G LTE and Android Lollipop OS? A bigger screen? Better Processor? Any guesses?

Tecno has tipped the likes of Innjoo and Infinix to launch the first Android Lollipop OS powered Android tablet in Nigeria - The Tecno DroidPad 8 or Tecno H8 is backed by a 5100mAh RAM. Two of its notable flaws is it doesn't have a memory card and uses just 1GB of RAM.

Innjoo has added another Windows running to its tablet line-up; the Innjoo Leap 4 as it is known runs Windows 8.1 OS (upgradable to Windows 10 when it goes commercial) and comes with a Single SIM slot thus supports cellular connectivity (3G).

The Innjoo Leap 4 looks like the Wi-Fi Only Innjoo Leap 3 with a SIM card slot added. In terms of dimensions it is more compact and heavier. Asides that it keeps the same 8-inch display, 4500mAh battery, Windows 8.1, 1GB RAM, Intel BayTrail SoC, 16GB internal storage, a microSD card slot and 5MP/2MP camera combination.

Problem with Tecno is that it isn't even a legit company, and if the phone Companies their stealing there models from catch them, they would be suied like shit. For example, does everyone remember the Tecno n3? the first smart phone? Well even that one wasn't original, they just took a phone called Q mobile smart s12, and scrapped off their logo and added Tecno. Just check google images and compare. After that they saw that Q mobile Company was also copying Blue dash mobile phone by just making slight body design(Blu is a famous company in Europe for making cheap phones, check gsmarena and compared all their phones with Tecno, you might see no difference, except from Logo.) changes.
And the listss of copy cats goes all the way to even Micromax, the proposed original makers. Micromax processors and RAM design are coppied by Blu Dash.

Q smart is based of Vietnam
Micromax is from China and mostly popular in India
Blu Dash s popular in Europe
And Tecno is popular in Africa.

Have any of you ever tried a ROM of any of the companies devices on a Tecno with similar features, well, they all RUN properly!!!!. Tecno Buy Q smart phones and just scrapp off the name and replace with theirs, this phones are very cheap in Vietnam going for less than $10 dolars. Tecno come to Africa and sell it at almost double the price, but we stupid Africans think it's cheap because their mobile features are almost as good as the so called midrange or some high range phones. EG Tecno H3 beats Samsung Galaxy Trend in processor and RAM, even Android version.

So, With all this, do you stlll think Tecno is a legit company?
NOTE: BLu although copying Micromax processing and RAM structure still offer open source updates to their phones. Their Blu Dash 3.5 counter part for Tecno N3 runs on Jelly Bean right now, but Tecno are selfish to make anything of theirs open source. It's like a small shitty version of Microsoft and a combination with Apple.

Lengthy but very reasonable.

Am not sure you will get something similar with that price; tablets from Samsung, Sony, LG and Apple cost more. Even the tecno phantom Gpad 2 cost around 37,000 but doesn't have this specs.

dosent have to be expensive..but you shouldn't be blinded by choosing the cheapest option.. Xiaomi make good and cheap phones...even lg to an extent have budget friendly phones

I tell people there is difference between affordable and cheap. Oppo makes affordable Chinese smartphones with worldwide credibility and there are companies like Elephone which hasn't got that global recognition yet.

Nobody is taking anything out on u. U see I was only asking some questions that will aid my buy-decision before u were like "bryte? Don't be blinded by these cheap devices and their specs". Of course I knew it was cheap ,but what do u expect from a budget tab now,to be above 90k?
Though it was a suggestion u made,but it sounded more like u thinking the person taking the decision is unwise and quite unaware of the far better products available elsewhere ,and that was why I sounded like that hoping u will point out tabs with similar specs made by the companies u mentioned. Of course I know xiaomi doesn't produce tabs for now( and if they do,it's not popular yet)
But don't worry we are cool now.

Actually Xiaomi produce tablets, but they are not readily available anywhere except China, India and maybe Asia.

What most people don't still understand is Nokia can continue making smartphones after 2016. The deal with Microsoft not to manufacture any phone till then is still in place.

Nokia however can collaborate with any company of its choice to make a device but it won't carry the nokia branding - there has been talks of a Meizu and Nokia smartphone coming which could have the Pureview camera and some Nokia inputs - the Meizu MX4 Supreme (Meizu MX supreme).

Let's no forget that, the recent tablet by Nokia made in collaboration with foxconn - has always sold out different batches in minutes on flash sales.

thanks for the clarification. I only want that one that is sim card enabled which is the Leap 2. Not making calls with it is not a prob. I get my touchlight phone. Just wanna use it to browse. We are not in a Wi-Fi country. So, getting Leap 1 and 3 is bad news.

Wiko has added a new smartphone - the Wiko Getaway into the Nigeria market and this time it is collaborating with Jumia Nigeria to being the smartphone into the country. The device has been available since 2014 in France and it is reminiscent of the way HTC designs it smartphone. 

Specs: 5.0 inch LCD screen, runs on Android KitKat with 1.3GHz Quad core, has an excellent 13MP auto flash rear camera and 5MP front camera with a 16GB in-built memory , 1GB of RAM and 2100mAh Li-Po battery.

it's lasts 2 days of usage but if you are a heavy smartphone user the 1GB of RAM on it might not serve ur mobile needs.

Comes with better specs but does it function better? You cant just take a decision when u dont have 1st hand user experience

If you need battery life over functions the hot Note is better but if you want a standard function smartphone - Innjoo one is ahead.

If you prefer a longer lasting battery then the Infinix hot note is what you need ; but the Innjoo one comes with better specs.

If after sales customer support is what you want, there are so many Chinese companies in Computer village with such solution. Even infinix which has been selling the Zero and Hot smartphones for a while barely needs any.
