Ravon: Nigerian Publisher, Chidi Nwaogu, Just Broke A Fresh Guinness World Record For The Longest Credit On A Book
When it comes to breaking world records, Nigerians seem to have a hack around it. The determination and focus of many Nigerians have led Nigerians to claim many world titles, including boxing, but this time, we didn’t just break an existing world record, but a fresh new record. On May 1, 2019, Nigerian publisher and serial entrepreneur, Chidi Nwaogu, posted on LinkedIn that his application to break the Guinness World Record for the ‘longest credit on a book’ has been accepted, and it was ‘time to break this fresh world title’. According to the screenshot of an acceptance email sent to him by the Guinness World Record, his application, with reference number 180410165252lcoa had ‘been accepted’.
The ‘Longest credit on a book’ is a world title given to any single book published with an ISBN, with a ‘Credits’ section that has at least 10,001 names of real people printed on it, who gave their consent to be credited. To achieve this, Nwaogu went on to LinkedIn to get the consent of at least 10,001 people to have their names printed on his book.
His post read: “Publiseer will be publishing a book written by me, and this book will hold the world title for the “Longest credit on a book”. It’s a fresh record, and we simply need at least 10,001 games to break this record. If you’d like to be part of this record-breaking event, simply comment on this post “Count me in” and your name (as it appears on LinkedIn) along with at least 10,000 others who comment on this post, will be published on the book as the credits. Let’s do this together, LinkedIn!“
Within 4 days, over 14,000 people had commented “Count me in”, thus giving the young Nigerian the consent to print their names on his Guinness World Record-breaking book titled “10 Laws of Finding the Right Co-founder”. With 1,516,662 views on his LinkedIn post, Nwaogu was able to amass 5,887 likes, 14,175 comments and 238 shares, as at Sunday, May 5, 2019, 8:18 AM GMT, and these figures are rapidly increasing as I write.
With a huge social following of 34,189 on LinkedIn, Nwaogu, has successfully met the conditions to the break the Guinness World Record for the longest credit on a book. This is a fresh Guinness World Record that hasn’t been broken before, so Nwaogu must be really adventurous to have ventured into this. Nwaogu’s book with at least 14,000 credits will hold the Guinness World Record for the ‘Longest Credit on a Book’, but the question on everyone’s mind is “For how long will he hold this record before someone surpasses his record?”
Nwaogu isn’t the only Nigerian to have broken a Guinness World Record. Wizkid, DJ Obi, Debbie Odumewu, and Kafayat Shafau-Ameh, are some of the Nigerians who have gone ahead in the past to break a world record.

3mmyz: We met at NASA.
It was a cold and partly humid that day, i felt cold and a bit hazy. I was newly employed there as a Software architect and had been there for 8 months and one very beautiful Lady being a Data scientist and a very dedicated colleague had chosen to offer me her leather jacket. At first i refused acting all manly and saying that i was totally fine but she declined my refusal and was persistent in convincing me to get warmed in her leather jacket.
I ended up wearing the sweater jacket and then she went out of her way and complemented my appearance in it. Saying i looked like An African Commando and that I'd make a good actor wearing a leather jacket. She sounded very brave and i was deeply swollen with the compliments, partly not because they weren't true but because a Lady i greatly admired had dawn down praises on me. This was the first time we had a conversation that lasted over 5 mins with chuckles and grinning faces exciting the atmosphere.
The next moment was way shocking for her. I told her she'd make the perfect wife. Based on her commitment, kindness and honestly towards her co-ops and me in particular. She in turn said that I'd make a good baby daddy. We both laughed and exchanged contacts
Six months later, we're yet to meet in reality because all I've been doing is wish that these stories happen soon enough. Thanks for stopping by, her name is Melody. guy you just broke my heart, I be Wan even say hi, mk I know if I fit get internship for NASA |

At the Council of States meeting recently, Gov Willie Obiano publicly registered his appreciation to President Buhari, for the level playing ground he made available during the election in his state. With do or die apostles, and a certain political party in power, such would never happen. Not with their garrison mentality. All states are territories that must be conquered, willy-nilly.

Ebullience: Fulani elders under the platform of concerned Fulani leaders forum (CFLF) have called Bello Bodejo, president of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, a “fraudster,” who lacked the mandate and credibility to speak on behalf of the ethnic group.
The CFLF’s censure comes on the back of a statement by Bodejo, during an interview with Saturday Sun, where he dismissed the possibility of Bola Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), succeeding President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
“What I know is that Tinubu cannot be the president of Nigeria. That is the truth. He is very old and maybe older than President Buhari,” he had said.
But Muhammad Musa Bawa, on behalf of the forum, issued a statement, on Sunday, where he questioned the credentials of Bodejo and slammed him for attempting to arrogate to himself the power of Nigerians to determine who leads them.
“We note with dismay a publication in The Sun Newspaper of Saturday April 27, 2019 and attributed to one Alhaji Bello Bodejo, the self- acclaimed President of MiyettiAllah Kautal Hore, an association mischievously conceived to serve some dubious interests. In the publication, Bello Bodejo was quoted as casting aspersions on the person of All Progressives Congress National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” the statement read.
“Bello Bodejo’s statement is unfortunate and repulsive in all ramifications. For one, he lacks the mandate and credibility to speak on behalf of the Fulani. He has lost the confidence of our people because of his criminal activities, which are well known to us. We challenge him to come out and tell the whole world how his younger brother was killed during an alleged robbery operation at Saminaka in Lere LGA, using his Hilux vehicle.
“Bello Bodejo is a known fraudster who has made a career out of duping poor members of his Fulani community. As at today, he leads one of the biggest cattle-rustling-gangs in the North central zone, a morally-depraved man who could not keep even a woman as wife in his house. Such a person cannot be taken seriously or be highly regarded as to speak for others.
“Bello Bodejo stands for everything unethical. His questionable antecedents speak volumes about him and his ways. When he realised he cannot actualize his nefarious activities under any decent association, he resorted to desperate moves, contacting prominent politicians, soliciting for patronage and claiming to be a leader of the Fulani under Kautal Hore, a handbag association where he is law unto himself.
“In 2015, he aligned himself with the then-governing PDP. To worm himself into the heart of the party, he headed for Aso Rock Villa where he endorsed former President Goodluck Jonathan in the name of Fulani in Nigeria, a crime the Fulani people are yet to forgive him for. He castigated General Muhammadu Buhari, calling him all kinds of unprintable names.
“In the run-up to the 2019 election, Bello Bodejo also made frantic efforts to align with the PDP Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, holding several meetings with him in his Asokoro residence. When all efforts to dupe Atiku Abubakar failed, he resorted to outright blackmail, again saying many unpalatable things about Atiku.
“He later made frantic efforts to reach out to Asiwaju Tinubu in January, 2019 to sell himself as someone with mass followers. But his satanic plans couldn’t sail through with a highly-intelligent Asiwaju, who can identify a fraudster when he sees one, hence Bello Bodejo’s unprovoked outburst.
“Nigerians should know Bello Bodejo through his past antecedents. He is worthless and must be seen as such. He does not command any decent followership as his criminal records speak volumes about him. He is a fraudster with questionable background who derives pleasure in intimidating people using his clandestine activities.
“It is instructive to note that the Fulani culture abhors shameful and disrespectful conduct, especially in relating to our elders. We call on Bodejo to desist forthwith from using the name of Miyetti Allah to spread his odious gospel of hate. He should tender an unreserved apology to Asiwaju.”
