fadilaMaikiriki: I would like to thank and appreciate some nairalanders here who gave me akamu when I asked for it. I made a thread here few weeks ago (see it here:https://www.nairaland.com/8062591/need-someone-giving-meakamuevery-morning) asking if there's anyone here who can give me akamu because I like it so much, and that's what I like to take in the morning. Some nairalanders offered to help, and they really delivered. They're so good. I really appreciate them. So Sweet. That period, I was just swallowing akamu like no man's business. Infact I was nearly overdosed with it. I was so happy that period and the time it lasted.
I would like to mention the nairalanders to show my appreciation, but I don't know if they'll be offended if I mention their monikers. But, wherever you are, I want to let you know that I really appreciate what you did that time. That period, I really needed it. Thanks so much you all. I appreciate it.
Please, if there's anyone here that would like to give me akamu, or has akamu to give me, I'm available to take it please, and would really appreciate that.
Thanks!

joemag: I recently went home to check on my parents. It happens that our lastborn who is in a boarding school also was around for a week break they were given at school.
On one of the evenings as I was talking to her and her dreams and aspirations this 16 old girl told me she wanted to become a Feminist. I was shocked but remained calm and gently asked her what she meant by being a Feminist. She told me that by that she aims to become an advocate of women's right. She started narrating how men are domesticating women and whole lots. I was marvelled at her passion and zeal and how convincing she was . Deep down I knew that I have a problem to solve and I needs pragmatic steps in order not to cause more harms.
This girl has written her JAMB with nice scores and will soon be in the varsity.
Please, is there anyone with concrete approach on how I will go about this?

Meektunz: I posted an issue about the Paternity fraud my wife hid away from me for the past 6years which she confessed two days ago, I've been taking care of someone's child all these years.
The truth right now is that i've informed her siblings one after the other and you know what? Each of them were siding her indirectly. If someone told me that as a man that i am, i'll be shedding tears for the past three days continuously, i would say it's a lie, the worst part is that i don't have anyone to talk to because i flushed my family out of my life just because of her because when i was about to get married to her, my family kicked against it because they don't like her but I insisted and that was the end of my relationship with my family till date. I just wish there's someone I could talk to..... This lady has really finished me.

Once upon a time, in the bustling heart of a modern city, there lived a young woman named Maya. Maya was like many others in her generation, she juggled a demanding job, battled with the pressures of social media, and often found herself lost in the chaos of urban life.
Despite her outward confidence, Maya harbored a secret longing for connection. She yearned for something more meaningful than the superficial interactions that filled her days. But in a world consumed by screens and status updates, genuine connection seemed like a distant dream.
One rainy evening, as Maya hurried through the crowded streets, she stumbled upon a quaint bookstore tucked away in a corner. Intrigued, she stepped inside, the scent of old books embracing her like an old friend. It was there that she met Gabriel, the owner of the bookstore, a kind and wise soul with a love for storytelling. As Maya browsed through the shelves, Gabriel struck up a conversation, effortlessly drawing her into his world of words and wonder. They talked for hours, sharing stories of love and loss, dreams and desires.
In Gabriel, Maya found a kindred spirit, someone who saw beyond the facade she presented to the world. Over the weeks that followed, Maya found herself drawn back to the bookstore time and time again, seeking solace in Gabriel’s company and the stories he shared. With each visit, she felt herself opening up, shedding the layers of pretense she had carefully cultivated.
One day, as Maya sat sipping tea with Gabriel, she confided in him her deepest fear, the fear of never finding true connection in a world that seemed increasingly disconnected. To her surprise, Gabriel simply smiled and handed her a worn leather journal. “Write your own story, Maya,” he said gently. “The power to connect lies within you.” Inspired by Gabriel’s words, Maya began to pour her heart onto the pages of the journal, weaving her own tale of love and longing, hope and redemption. And with each word she wrote, she felt a sense of liberation, as if she were finally finding her voice in a world that had long silenced it.
Interestingly, as the days turned into weeks and the weeks into months, Maya’s journal filled with the echoes of her soul. And with each entry, she found herself drawing closer to Gabriel, their bond growing stronger with each shared moment. And so, in the quiet embrace of a bookstore nestled in the heart of the city, Maya discovered that true connection was not found in the fleeting distractions of modern life, but in the timeless art of storytelling, a gift that had the power to touch the heart and soul, bridging the gap between strangers and kindred spirits alike.
