Why do Nigerian artistes prefer to release EPs (4 track albums) or singles (1 - 3 versions of the same song) over a standard 10 - 16 song album? I’ve noticed this despite the song-making process being more forgiving these days than in the past. Songs today are 02:30 minutes as opposed to the standard 03:30 minutes of the 90s. Some songs are mostly a catchy hook and nothing else.

We still have smart people on Nairaland. This is the closest to what my friend said.

I just heard on national news that the senate are on a second motion to pass a bill to ensure that social media corporations open physical operations bases in the country. To note: I doubt the government wants a proper office with multiple workers. I believe a room with one man running operations is enough to qualify as a physical base.
