Barely two days after an angry mob lynched two suspected robbers in Calabar, another suspected robber was killed on Thursday morning, October 22, in the state capital, Reports.

From The Information Gathered By , The latest incident happened at Ikot Ansa bus stop by Four Squared Gospel Church, Murtala Mohammed highway Calabar.

According to online witness, Who Notify News Crew, the suspect was caught in the early hours of Thursday morning by angry mob while trying to carry out illegal operation.

In a video that has gone viral As Obtained By , the man who did not give his name and neither did he hide his face, said he cannot stand by and watch as people kill his brothers and sisters whom he left behind to fight Boko Haram.

''You can't be killing my brothers and sisters. I left them behind to find Boko Haram. You can't be killing them and you want me to have joy. I don't have joy in this country. Whatever the youths are doing I am in support of them.

I am a soldier but I can't support bad thing'' he said

A 38-year-old Catholic priest, Fr. Francis Ighorurhie drowned at the flooded area of Kaiama Community in Kolokuma-Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State on Thursday night, October 15, Reports.

From The Information Obtained By , Fr. Francis Ighorurhie, a Missionary of St. Paul (MSP) from Warri, Delta State, was until his death the Parish Priest of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kaiama.

It was gathered that the deceased fell into the water on his way to his residence from a wooden bridge popularly known as “Monkey bridge.

According to reports Obtained By , a section of the wooden bridge had been submerged by the rising water making walking on the slippery structure a difficult task for users.

A priest who confirmed the incident said,

“This is a sad moment for us, Father was on his way back from Bomadi in Delta State when he met his untimely death. But for the flood, he could have driven his car straight to his residence instead parking same by the road,"

“It was as he was walking on the wooden bridge part of which had been submerged that he slipped and got drowned. Those staying at his residence had to raise alarm when they saw his car by the roadside and he was nowhere to be found. They, however, became suspicious when they saw a bag containing some provision floating on the water not far from the bridge. Divers were contracted and his remains were recovered.”

He added that his remains had been deposited at the morgue of the Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa.

In a similar incident, two school pupils also drowned along the good news area of Azikoro Town in Yenagoa local government area of the state.

The two dead pupils, primary and nursery levels, were reportedly swept away by the flood on their way home from school.

A couple has been accused of subjecting their 10-year-old son, Goodluck to physical abuse in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital over food theft and witchcraft allegations, Reports.

From The Information Obtained By , According to Facebook user, Chigozie Effe who found the boy roaming on the streets, the latest abuse happened on Wednesday, October 14, after the boy took food from the pot without his parents' permission.

The parents, who are said to hail from Akwa Ibom reportedly punished Goodluck and sent him out of the house. When contacted, the mother said a pastor told them the boy is a witch.

Effe wrote On Facebook As Obtained By Below;

"For fetching a plate of food from the pot without the consent of his parents, 10year old Goodluck had his body redesigned and sent to the streets," the post reads.

"The incident happened yesterday along Ereaka Road, Port Harcourt. Investigation revealed that Goodluck has been on constant brutality by his parents . Thie constant brutality makes one doubt if actually Good luck is their son, sadly he is,"

"A native of Akwa Ibom State and currently residing in Rivers State, Goodluck is not school as his Dad claimed he doesn’t have the money to finance his education,"

"Goodluck was visited on the streets of Port Harcourt where he confirmed that he was beating because of stealing food.

"He said his Dad tied him and used nail on him as can be seen in photo below. When contacted this morning, the mum of Goodluck said “ My son is a witch , that is why he is behaving this way,"

"Asked how she arrived at that conclusion, she said her pastor told her that the boy is a witch. When contacted earlier today, father of Goodluck was dead drunk and could not answer questions posed to him."
