As for the differences, note 5 and[b] note 5 ai [/b]are the same as per this region and outside india. In India, note 5 is our redmi 5 plus, and their note 5 pro is our redmi note 5 ai, fyi note 5 ai is better because of better camera, android 8.0, and supports our lte bands.

I am so happy to inform you guys that i got another USB cable and the phone reached 25% in less than 20mins, not counting the booster charge that took 3 mins before the first 1%. In 1hr 35mins i have 98%. This was done by my car charger 5v2A.

It seams the issue is confirmed to be the cable.

The phones charger is 5.0v= 2.5A and i have tried my other chargers, my car charger and an Acer tablet charger. All are not charging. The only thing i have not done is use another USB cable and since the phone is c type, its not easy to find in my current location.

then check with another cord so as to save ur stress.

The note 5 has better chipset and better camera. I use Chinese version currently, no issues. Playstore and everything installed. The only problem u will experience is that the theme store is in Chinese... U may not get some themes. However, it has more features than global version.
