I don't even know where to begin. This same BATE we beat over 9+ goals last season, a team that played its last competitive match last year ( fking last year!!!). Arsenal lost to that kind of team.

Well, I'm might be exaggerating, but I've seen enough of Unia's system. And, I can say with 100% confidence, we won't win or qualifying for UCL playing with it (except our luck is extremely good).

You'll know a top Manager when he is handling average players. Except Emery has a significantly better team than his rivals, I don't see his team edging out any of them in a 38 game season.

And, our style of play is painful to watch now. It's just to predictable (everybody packing themselves to one wing or the other) and there is no creativity at all. Playing 5 defenders (+ wingbacks) and holding midfielders is killing this team bad bad.

My item was delivered to me just now in great condition without any scratches, and properly packaged. I'm happy I got exactly what I asked for. A picture's been attached. However this is what I went through to get it.

A day later I didn't see it on the thread and I was worried, I asked here on Nairaland and they responded to me telling me they had "seen my payment" and answered with a meme. Still no info on the item. Mind you, I'm a first time customer. So obviously I would have fears of being scammed. All I wanted to see was my order on the thread like they did for other orders.

So I asked them privately again some days later what was taking long to post it on the thread (since I had been seeing other people's orders). And then on one of their lines they ignored me, on the other line they responded that it would be made soon. Maybe it was the same person.

A little bit of info, I made it clear that it wasn't my order, and the person I was helping, for some reason, needed it urgently. It was for this reason that I placed the order two weeks earlier than originally intended (even though it was an express service), since the customer service person told me "anything could happen" if I ordered it late. That probably should've been a red flag.

About two whole weeks after I made the transfer, they posted, "all good shipped 5 business days ago are ready for pickup". I messaged them privately again, asking if my item was among " after all, I sent the money more than two weeks ago, and that's more than 5 business days". They replied no. I said when? And they said "next week".


Just before the official second week finally ran out they FINALLY posted it on a thread, with a delivery time saying " between 5 - 21 February ". Obviously, I wasn't happy. I messaged them with screenshot again asking why my order had JUST been made despite paying then over two weeks ago. They told me again to " let patience have its way, I will surely get my order". But I was getting impatient- I had ordered the same item a a long while ago without any "service" and it got to me in one month. So why would I use an "express service" if it was going to take the same time?

Now the whole of "next week" that she promised passed and I got nothing. So I messaged them asking about my order. They told me to come to Lagos to pick it up. Angrily I asked if "that was what we discussed when I made the order." And I got the shock of my life. They suddenly called me, claimed I was "harassing" their customer service, insulted me in both English and Yoruba, and then threatened to get me arrested, tried at an "industrial court" with some fake judgement, and thrown into jail. I was at a loss for words. And furious. She also "swore" that I wouldn't get my item when I wanted, and for all the days it was left in their warehouse I'd be charged N500/day.

About 30 minutes later I was called back by the same person who made all these threats, and apologised to. She blamed it on "the atmosphere being hot". And the fact that "she didn't know the headphones would be so big, instead I should've been charged $35/$40 for shipping instead of $20".

At that point I was irritated but just wanted to get my headphones without all the hassle.

Today they finally arrived, after 3 weeks and two days. So this is what I had to go through to get my item just 5 days faster, and with a slightly reduced shipping rate.

Although I was apologised to, and the customer care agent was subsequently polite after the apology, what I went through has done further damage to your brand. I wouldn't have posted this here if it was a first time thing, but apparently I'm not the first customer to be treated this way and (maybe) I won't be the last. On previous pages of this thread, one even remarked that they act like this towards customers who make "low" orders. These headphones cost N33,000 including shipping. Maybe that's why I was treated like this.

If you're unhappy I'm posting this here, treat your customers better. If I hadn't been treated this way I never would've found out that you've done this in the past. Some customers will still take the risk of dealing with you and the way they are treated will determine who will still deal with you. As for me, your guess is as good as mine on whether I'd be willing to go through this again.

I'm also going through this hell with them, right now. Unlike you, the goods I ordered are for multiple clients who are putting intense pressure on my head (as in, serious pressure), and unfortunately, they are apathetic to my plight.

If my items don't show up, I'll have to refund my clients from my pocket, losing on both ends. The goods ordered, will be come useless to me at that point. Since no one will be paying for them.

One of their personnel told me that my order will be shipped last week, but up till now, they can't provide pictorial evidence that my order has been placed. Which is very bad. They don't know that their actions is giving them a bad name, as things stand, I can never, ever recommend them to anyone that I know.

Well, I'm waiting patiently for this week to be over. Then, I'll take legal action against them. Later, when people don't patronize Naija businesses, they'll say one thing one thing.

I blame myself for giving them a chance. They have really opened my eyes.

It's so easy to blame Kroenke stingy ways for Arsenal current woes, but Wenger and Gazidis were the chief culprits. Arsenal has been very poorly managed both on and off the pitch by both men. Wenger insistence on egalitarian wage structure meant that we have our fringe players on Big wages , which makes it hard to sell them to smaller clubs and recoup funds to finance transfers, for example, we couldn't sell Jenkinson because Wenger placed on too high a salary that other smaller clubs where he should be playing at, can not afford his bills, so the player insists on running down his contract At Arsenal, rather than take a pay cut and move to smaller teams.
When we point out the fact that Arsenal is currently suffering from Wenger and Gazidis mismanagement both off and on pitch, his fans say we are being senseless for stil trying to hold a man who is no longer here culpable for our current woes. But the truth is that he is. And it will take quite some time, before we sorted out Wenger and Gazidis mess.

Probably, but as a club, Arsenal should have forced them out while they had one or two years left. It's either you sign or you get out.

Arsenal allowed the players to hold them to ransom. In most big clubs, if their players are misbehaving and don't want to sign a new contract, they bench the player ( so that he'll rot) or force him out of the Club.

Look at Solanke that came free from Chelsea, how many matches did he play for Liverpool that he was sold for £20m+. Benteke sold for over £30m and sahko, too, was sold for over £20m (not too sure about this one).

We might not necessarily go for a big name to replace Rambo, we can try to unearth some gems. What do we have scouts for, if they can't do their job.

I'm just praying that the new set of players, will not be the typical injury-prone Wenger type of signings. Look at Guen, Lucas, Leno, even baba Lich, how many times have they gotten injured.

The only person that gotten injured among them is Papa, three or four times, but the rest have been almost injury free for months. Especially, Lucas who takes and dishes tough tackles each match.

He came back from injuries and was crappy, needing few games to regain sharpness, only to get injured again once he was hitting form. A very inconsistent player, yet we kept faith in him. Now because of Gazidis and Wenger stupidity, we are losing a player we spent years developing for free. The club will get nothing to reinvest in his replacement. Look at how much Liverpool got from Sterling,Suarez and Coutinho sales. And look at how much we are getting from selling our own best players, and you see why we declined and could no longer afford to compete in the transfer market for top talents.

Ramsey is a greedy SOF, I don't blame him though, I blame Wenger and Gazidis for allowing him run down his contract, when we could have sold him seasons ago and reinvest the funds, when he started stalling on his contract renewal.

If you don't know, know it now. Ramsey is only getting that much in weekly wages because Arsenal will get nothing for his transfer to Juventus, it was same for Sanchez. They purposely stalled contract negotiations with Arsenal by requesting for wages they know the club cannot afford, so that they could run down their contract, leave on free, and get fat wages in new clubs who would simply use the money they could have paid Arsenal in transfer fees to reward them with fat wages.

Ramsey put his own greed ahead of the club survival, and Gazidis/Wenger indulged him. I remember that Suarez had to renew his contract with Liverpool before they sold him, so that Liverpool could get so much from his transfer to buy a replacement, the same thing was applicable to Coutinho.
Ramsey shortchanged Arsenal.

Yeah, you made some valid points. But, I'm happy for the guy. Hopefully, we will replace him with a much better player.

I'm happy for him, too. Although Arsenal did not reward his loyalty, God has rewarded him with a fat pay check (among the top 10 highest paid players in the world). And, from next season baba will start winning league titles and have a shot at wining the Champions league.

If not for his injuries and inconsistencies, he would have been a very, very good player. But, on a personal note, I won a bet with my dad. The shaqiri you are talking about has not been world class this season. Baba has been on the bench for most matches. A good player, but definitely not in the same category as the 'then' Ozil, who was renowned as a world class 10.

Although I don't like him, Pogba, but his case is different. The coach forced most of then to play out of position or a very defensive game, which made most of them look useless.

The 'cracks' in Pogba's game sef, are self inflicted, because Baba always want to show off unnecessary. If he becomes a focused player, he will be far, far better than he is currently.

You can't compare their situation to that of Ozil's. Wenger did everything humanly possible to make sure Ozil delivered 100%, but the guy failed to perform. And it is the same thing playing out again under Emery.

Nobody is looking for who to scapegoat. When a player plays well, we praise him. If he plays rubbish, we lash at him, too. Was Mustafi not a Rock in his first 6 months? So, should be start praising him because of those 6-months, forgetting all the pain and sorrow the man has caused?

Apart from the Leicester City match, call any other two matches where Ozil had dominant displays. Please don't run away ooo...

Positives of Ozil.
1. Good passer of the ball.
2. Create Chances (assists).
3. Scores some goals ( usually under 12 a season).
That's all.

Negatives of Ozil.
1. Horrible without the ball.
2. Disappears for large spells of the game.
3. Contributes nothing defensively.
4. Easily becomes frustrated when things aren't going his way.
5. Usually disappears against big teams (note the word usually)
6. Easily Targeted in most matches (since they know he gets frustrated easily. Which turn makes him useless for the reminder of that match).
7. Work rate (both on and off the ball is zero)

That's what I can remember for now.

This Ozil argument is a very complicated one. But, the is that Ozil is not a modern football 10. The guy is an old school 10, those guys who do nothing but attack in a team. Unfortunately for him, football has evolved beyond that. Look at the 10's in other top clubs, then compare them to Ozil, it's doubtful that Ozil will bench anyone of them (based on current ability not past glory). I remember that United game, when Ozil was about to be introduced. I was fuming, while the other guy beside me was happy, he was like "it's about time he was introduced!"

At that moment, I told the guy " this Ozil you're cheering for, in a few minutes time you'll start cursing him".

And, Bam! The Pogba incident happened. See the way my guy was boiling. I was just there laughing, because I already expected it.

In modern they football, a player like Ozil is -1, unless the team is willing to spend heavily to cover his weakness (playing two defensive midfielders or having two midfielders who will carry his workload). Unfortunately, how many coaches will be willing to do that? When they can go for other 10s that are willing to put a shift in - like every other player.

Even if Ozil becomes a free agent today, I'm doubtful that the Top clubs in the world will come for him. Even if they do, will he be a starter in their team?
