another question please. It was serviced a month ago with a wrong engine oil. I have not used the car since then though, as I am out of town. When changing the oil do I need to also change the filter?
I believe there's no harm in changing the filter since you are changing the oil. I could be wrong tho. my take

We currently accept the Joint Task Board form that has been duly signed by the appropriate authorities.

Kindly pair that with a valid means of identification (voter's card, national passport, national ID)

(feedback from bolt)

If your HP remittance starts January, you should use this opportunity to get acquainted with the job. January is not a funny month let alone for learners. Bolt will accept you with any paper from VIO.
what kind of paper can I get from them please?

Good afternoon my people.

please I need help on the attached picture.

I changed my car tires to 17rims from 16, since then this check light has been on. The car manual says its the Traction control system.

Took the car, balancing and alignment were checked and they were all okay. the guy loosed the battery, cleaned the top, fixed it back and the check light went off only for it to reappear yesterday.

car is a Pontiac vibe 2009 model

Ocar is the next big thing in town. I signed up and in my first day of working with the App, I completed 12trips worth 11k. The battle line between Uber/Bolt/ Ocar has been drawn. I'm not a forerunner of any of the Apps but as a businessman, I'll always go with maximum profit with security and Opay seems to be providing that because you'll be able to see rider's destination. Each rider is verified because their bank details are linked to the Opay App.
DL is just hindering me here. I have applied to get a Driving sch cert and was told it will be ready 15th, before I apply for the DL

Don't be afriad to quit! You have a good deal on board. If you have she funds, suggest a down payment so to give you room to explore the market and another room to ease pressure while at it.

Ehailing might not be a goldmine, but its quite better in some comparison with other everyday job out there. Your decision should be based on wjag works for you.
Thank you. Its nice being on this thread. Have learnt alot from you guys

Can you pay the monthly 100k with your current job? I advise you start with the weekend drive to get accustomed to the biz since work days might be impossible for you.
Once your get your ways around the biz and you feel it will bring you more money than your current job, you may quit and face this hustle squarely.

There is no limit to what you can achieve with the job if you put your mind in it. Always learn from positives here; recently we read a story of a man who got deported from UK and within a year with this job, paid for his MBA in Italy and had savings.

So, in essence, if after you test your ways around ehailing and you are cool with it and the income prospects, please don't be afraid to quit. After all a bro here quit his job with construction coy and now a full time driver, though 'village people' initially tested him, but baba don win. But if you think you have a future and passion for your current job, stick with it.

Na money we all dey find

Good luck dear bro
Thank you bro....

I was able to secure the deal this afternoon, car is in my possession now and owner gave me till January to start remitting, meaning I have now till December to test waters.

Thanks for the encouragement

You may not have time to drive except on weekend.

If you have your own car and the outsourced job is paying peanut, don't be afraid to quit.
yeah, I won't have the time except weekends. car is not mine though. It was given on HP to remit 100k per month until I pay up,..no number of years.. no down payment total of 2.4 to be remitted

won't even advise my enemy with 10 cars to quit for uber fulltime... After all, streams of income shouldn't be from ehailing ONLY
thanks for the advice. The actual reason for considering that is cos I have been on this job for 4years as an outsourced staff(hope you understand) and I leave home 5am, come back 9pm most times.

More so, I feel quitting will allow me focus on other things while doing the e-hailing business.

You can meet up with 100k in a week. But it means Uber/Bolt is what you do daily. You schedule a daily target and commit to it. You will even have extra ontop but it's not going to be that easy at the beginning, eventually you'll get used to it.
Also, how much is the H.P and the duration. You need to evaluate all these before quitting your job wey people dey find sef.
HP is 2.4, direct Belgium pontiac 2009 model. No duration, just remit 100k until u pay it off, that's the deal

The truth is that making 25k from Friday to Sunday is not feasible but it's possible. You can make it this week but next week you won't even see 15k for the 3days. The ehailing business is saturated and at a declining stage.
Yeah but in all this can one net 100k a month

Jus to answer ur question...anything is possible, it jus abt ur determination and d hours yhu put in...I'll tell yhu one thing though, abuja is not like lagos, we all know dat lagos is the centre of ehailling in naija.
To me i don't think dis question is necessary cos yhu might get negative feedback or positive feedback bt it all depends on yhu...yhu av to set a target and yhu av to position urself on strategy locations...like i said it all depends on ur determination and the hours yhu put in...
Myself i jus move to abuja(am staying wit my brother) while sourcing for a good job am running uber part/time wit my own car, my first day was a 13k gross and it was offline...i was on the road yesterday, my first rider was dis nice gentleman, infact the way he spoke on the fone got me excited to want to meet him... to cut a long story short we had a very good rapport and he even linked me up for a job interview today scheduled for 12noon.(a driving and personal assistance job).
Don't be surprised also dat somedays yhu might even make more than ur target...jus be positive and optimistic, don't forget to be prayerful also...
(My 2cent)...peace cheesy
Thank you bro.

Well there's an offer on ground for HP which i am considering, owner wants monthly remittance of N100k.

I presently earn less than 70k where i work and its one of these financial institutions.

I am considering taking the offer but still a little bit indifferent.
