Started my building last year May, today by the grace of God it's 80% complete (windows installed, plaster done, security doors installed). I hope to celebrate Christmas in there.

Is it safe to use this "water proof seal cement in plastering?"

I was told it helps protect wall from rising water and all but I have never heard of it until recently.

I specifically asked if heater n ac would not be too much for 2.5mm and he said it will be fine but I am not comfortable

4 coils of 1.5mm Red

The house I presently live in has this, unfortunately with every wind that blows, it literally scatters the ceiling.

The owner used it both inside and outside and as I type now the veranda is open.

How can this be rectified, is there a glue/adhesive that can be used to hold it?

I’ve really not explored its usage in residential buildings but I don’t think it’ll be a bad idea is if creatively infused into your design

I’ll avoid using it in wet zone and other areas where you need adequate security.

Roof person grossly underquoted most of the materials, but In all thank God.

Such advice is not correct.... You are free to cover any wooden rafter after installation....
it has no meaning.... the best time to drive a nail into a wood is when it is fresh so that the grip to the nail forms a kind of grip when it drioes...

Makee sure the woods are well treated with wooden chemicals preservatives in a right ratio.. ( Solidgum, anti termite, engine oil and the rest)...

Good evening experts in the house,

I'd like to seek your advices, I am at the roofing stage of my building, I have bought most of the materials except woods and workmanship.

I decided to get quotations for burglary, front and back door as well as windows. (Mhen prices were kinda high especially the windows)

Now my question is, would it be advisable to divert the little fund I have now into the burglary and windows because I learnt the prices of these materials keeps going up almost on daily basis, or should I just roof the house.
