PoliticsRe: Tinubu Is A Betrayer - Atiku by MrGlobe(m): 4:58pm On Mar 26, 2013
Gbawe: Yawn. Another discredited liar and time waster who cannot prove his case. Do I need to quote what you wrote with emphasis on "over and over" you now want to limit to Atiku alone. Own your utterance shameless person . You implied PDP reject control the ACN wholesale. Prove it factually and spare us the tedious mention of Atiku.

Why don't you prove ACN "superstars" are PDP rejects as you claimed? Shameless liar . This is how it always ends. Emotional and hateful folks deconstructed with facts.
you should really take his advice. You are fast turning into a nuisance on nairaland day by day with your Tinubu/ACN propaganda. How can a matured man like you keep trolling each thread with propaganda? Tinubu is a fraud. Atiku called him a betrayer, Same as Ribadu. Olu Falea called him a rascal but you insist on painting him as a saint because you are a paid agent. You want to know the Acn superstars that are pdp rejects? Audu Ogbeh, a former deposed PDP chairman now an ACN chieftain, Ajimobi of oyo state, Chris Ngige, Achike udenwa, Olusegun Osoba, Atiku and lots more all superstars of ACN. I think its high time you start getting banned for trolling. your nairaland reputation is dragging on the floor. You gbawe is a dubious character

It is genetic. Awo betrayed, Tinubu betrayed, Yoruba elders that went to collect parcels in Aso Rock betrayed. Only a fool trusts this people.

What do my Yoruba people think about this war of words between their new leader Tinubu and Olu Falea - the one time leader of yorubas and the favorite candidate of Yoruba for the 1999 presidential elections? who should we support now?
Anyway I think its time to put the house in order and stop fighting dirty in public like this.

https://dailypost.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Olu-Falae1.jpg

Chieftain of the pan-Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, Olu Falae, spoke at the weekend of how he can never again work with National Leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Bola Tinubu, because he (Tinubu) and some others “rebelled” against leaders of the group during the Alliance for Democracy (AD) days.

Falae, in an exclusive interview with Daily Independent, alleged that Governors elected on the platform of AD before the 2003 general elections had insisted that they could no longer be controlled by Afenifere leaders “and they said we were no longer their leaders. They broke away from Afenifere and became rebels.

“They teamed up with another rebel group within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to form the ACN.

“I am not a rebel. That is why I am not in ACN. Thank God, the youths they misled to form the Afenifere Renewal Group (ARG), many of them are now back within the fold of original Afenifere because they have seen the light. They now know that we are serving without selfish motive,” Falae said.

Tinubu, then as Governor of Lagos State, was a member of the AD.

But Falae claimed that Tinubu never won the AD primaries in 1999, and that God used him (Falae) to get Tinubu nominated as the governorship candidate to run on the platform of AD.

According to him, “Late Funsho Williams who won the primary election of the AD backed down after my intervention.

“I pleaded with Funsho Williams that by the grace of God if I become the president, I will give him legitimate recognition and opportunity to serve the country if he allowed Tinubu to become AD governorship nominee to save our leader, Pa Abraham Adesanya, the late leader of Afenifere, who announced him as the winner.

“Pa Adesanya was shot nine times by the late Head of State, General Sani Abacha’s men. His children prevailed on him to stop leading NADECO but instead he replied that the struggle had just started. Ironically, Tinubu turned round to destroy Afenifere.

“It was Williams who won the AD primaries but there were some disagreements in parts of Mainland Local Government and Ikorodu; Pa Adesanya settled for Tinubu as the winner of the governorship primaries simply because he (Tinubu) was a key leader during the NADECO movement against the military government under Abacha.

“Tinubu suffered in consequence and was in exile abroad while I was detained with others for two years in Nigeria. Pa Adesanya insisted that one of us who suffered should be governor so that he could rehabilitate others.

“General Alani Akinriade’s house was completely destroyed. My farm was over grown with weed when I returned from detention,” Falae stated.

While expressing belief that Yoruba land and Nigeria can still be better governed, he said “for 12 years, despite all Tinubu did to us, we tried to reconcile with them for the sake of our people.

“We have held more than 16 meetings both in Ijebu Igbo at the home of our late leader and thereafter in Akure, at the home of Chief Fasoranti, the current leader of Afenifere and again at Ibadan.

“We got late Justice Kayode Eso, Bishop Bolanle Gbonigi and Bishop Ladigbolu to reconcile us. Eso chaired a committee of eminent people to reconcile us but they never showed up.

“We tried through over 12 bi-lateral meetings. They did not make that possible. We got justice Eso, they never showed up. Finally, we got Mama HID Awolowo to intervene at Ikenne, they preempted the meeting by going there a day before the scheduled date.

“They vowed they would never sit with us on planet earth. Later, they themselves took an initiative to invite us to a meeting at Premier Hotel in Ibadan.

“Those who invited us to the meeting did not show up but we were there. Tinubu, Segun Osoba, Niyi Adebayo were not there. Only late Lam Adesina and Bisi Akande were there.

“So, when we endorsed Governor Mimiko for second term, they began to insult us. When they formed the ACN, we did not insult them.

“We have a right to belong to political association of our choice and we did. So can you now understand why we are not together? Very unfortunate, but they were the ones who were ready to run for governors as at 1999.

“They won election not because they were popular but on the strength of Afenifere. I was the one that raised the hand of late Adebayo Adefarati before he emerged as governor in Ondo State in 1999.

“The AD was formed by the Afenifere two months to the election. The South West people voted for the name Awolowo and because of Afenifere,” Falae explained.

Speaking on the newly formed All Progressives Congress (APC), Falae explained that as the National Chairman of Democratic People’s Alliance (DPA), he was the chairman of Muhamadu Buhari’s campaign in the South West.

“All I am saying is that I have personal links with the leading members of APC.

“We don’t rule out any possibility. But the Social Democratic Party (SDP) is the one we are trying to revive and by the grace of God when that is operational very soon, all options are open because the bigger the better.

These twitter apps are not stand alone because they still connect to twitter's server which is resident on twitter.com, so i think it still counts.
You know this is Alexa ranking? You understand these apps also have their stand alone websites like tweetdeck, writelonger, dabr etc which wouold also get their Alexa rankings? I'd like you to tell me when Alexa started tracking applications too. TNot trying to take anything away from nairaland traffic but the truth is most people don't access twitter though mobile or web as it is not interesting throuh those means. They rather use apps, unlike for facebook or nairaland. So judging Twitter traffic by its web analysis is a huge fallacy.

Did Alexa consider 90% of twitter users whether in Nigeria or elsewhere use Twitter apps to access twitter which does not rank in Alexa rankings against Nairaland which is strictly web based? This report may be true or false. Not definite!

ZUBY77: You dont need to rant and curse for you to be heard.
Which Igbo Market Did Lagos close? Ladipo would be my guess. Does Ladipo sound Igbo to you?
Ladipo Market is a spare parts market, not Igbo market. Ladipo market supplies spare parts to every part of Nigeria and beyond not just Igbo. Yoruba traders import spare parts and offlaod in Ladipo market too. I agree Igbos dominate in the market but that does not make it Igbo market.
Was it not your Peter Obi that bulldozed cattle market at Onitsha head bridge a few weeks ago? Was that an Hausa market or cattle market?

You also said that SW are secretly killing Igbos. Please tell me more about it.

You said that Northern Governors have never deported any non Northerner? Would you rather be deported or killed?
I dont remember Fashola deporting anybody to Enugu, Imo or Abia. It is your over bloated ego in Anambra state that is causing you problems everywhere.

At Mgbuka spare parts market here in Onitsha, it is a standing other that no non-anambra man will become the president of the market, why?

What of APGA party? It is your anambra state that are agitating against Rochas over his involvement with APC, why? Do you rascals believe you own anybody around here?
Isn't it you Anambra that led Biafra to unprepared war and blame Awolowo after?

Now that we are talking about how to move forward, you are still holding your generation down with hatred. person.

How many times have any northern governor deported a non Northerner. You think its only boko haram igbos should worry about. The problem with you is you are a lunatic. The same fool that always want to cause enmity between Anambra and Enugu. Are do we even ascertain you are indeed igbo. Is it because he was a nobel laureate? No
A literary icon maybe? No
An active socialist/freedom fighter? No
Just because he was imprisoned for the biafran war!
-------------------------------
Now, prof. Achebe on the other hand, why should I as a yoruba man like him? If I am to tow your line of reasoning!
Did he go to prison defending a yoruba man's honor? Fact, no ibo man ever sacrificed anything for the yorubas.
Should I like him because he's a world aclaimed writer?

I hope you can see what am driving at, am sure a day will come you'll need a yoruba man's help, please remember all you've said about us.
I don't really hate Yorubas, I hate awo. infact I think the rogue caused all these enmity between igbo and Yoruba. I would really appreciate if you awoist seperate the person awo from Yoruba. I have some Yoruba people that have really helped me, yes and I appreciate, I have Yoruba friends, had Yoruba gf but I also have others that have shown tribalism to me too. many. Unlike the primitive and uncouth sub human that you are,Africans with deeper insight knows that the enthusiasm of the west over " things fall apart" is simply their euphoria about an African writing and confirming their long held impression about Africa's backwardness and primitiveness prior to colonisation. Refences to the ibo evil forest, osu caste system,,killing ikemefuna in cold blood, okonkwo drinking with human skull, structural disorganisation of the ibo tribe as reflected in the book are the stuffs that tickled the fancy of the Europeans till this day. That is why there were so many educated yoruba peeps at that time. Though, I do not like awolowo because of his role in the civil war, I secretly admire those policies. Those kind of policies are policies our igbo leaders should explemify and also our national leaders in order to improve the standard of living in this country.

However, our leaders must truly sit down collectively and address this tribalism and move this country to true integration and greater height.

What did Achebe do to improve/advocate to better the life of an average Nigerian

Answer by Igbos bigots

He was an Icon, He wrote so and so book, he brought African/Nigerian Igbo culture to the international literature world, his book is translated to 1200000 languages etc

Has this answered the question I asked or the OP answered ? If indeed we have sensible people who are defending this man know what a direct question and direct answer is.

Look all, I did not see the doors of a university but if indeed this is what University education entails then it is good as I can see lots of wasted investments grin

Simple direct question, to answer it is difficult.
shut your dumbass up. ok, lets assume Achebe has not "contributed to Nigeria" what has you or the brain absent op contributed to Nigeria since Achebe is also a member of the masses like you both. 4chi: Do your research and go and read what Achebe said about Awolowo immediately upon his death in 1987. The crippled bigot was the ONLY major personality who made a derogatory remark against the man . Even ojukwu, a more major player in the civil war conflict showed enough grace and class not to denigrate a dead man. 25 years after, this patently bitter and bigoted man still went on to write a most asinine book making caustic reference to Awo and " his Yoruba people" against his so called "dominant ibos" Shows the extent of bile in the stomach of this ugly mofo ..
Achebes highest educational qualification was the degree in English language he received from the heart of Yorubaland .without which he would have amounted to nothing but a primary school teacher in ogidi. For exhibiting so much hatred and bigotry toward a land that made him whole,he was crippled by the gods, when he persisted I'm his ways, the gods deleted him.....the gods are wise grin grin grin
Awo was a criminal, murderer, clown, sadist, ex convict, tribalist and deserves no good remarks especially when he committed suicide." Achebe died a happy, fulfilled and accomplished man. why not another Yoruba person use the Yoruba school Achebe attended and get to his status
