Still from the same state of osun' cheesy

Osun State residents owe us over N1.4 Billion – PHCN
Most Nigerians are used to
complaining about the irregular –
if not altogether lack of – power
supply from the Power Holding
Company of Nigeria (PHCN), with
the outrageous bills coming in
regularly and promptly.
However, authorities of the
company in Osogbo, Osun State,
at the weekend, have lamented
the indifference of the people in
the state to the payment of
electricity bills, just as residents
and corporate bodies, including
the state government, are owing
over N1.4 billion. Yet, it has been
reported that despite complaints
by some states over seeming drop
in the energy supply from PHCN
to their residents, Osun, had
been enjoying sizable
improvement in the power
distribution from energy plants.
According to the Nigerian Tribune,
during an exclusive interview with
one of their correspondents, the
Business Manager, Osogbo
Business Unit of PHCN, Mr Banji
Fagbote, described the attitude of
the state to the payment of
electricity bills despite its services
as very worrisome, stressing that
there was need for the residents
and institutions to embrace the
culture of paying electricity bills.
Fagbote explained that there were
five districts of the PHCN in Osun
State, including Osogbo, Ikirun,
Ede, Ife and Ilesa, pointing out
that “Osogbo metropolis enjoys
electricity supply more than any
other part of the country, but
they did not respond to payment
of energy bills in the same way.”
He added that “the total amount
owed us in the state now is
N1.481,687,681, including Osogbo
district,” stating that the debt
profile represented outstanding
bills as of November.”

Meanwhile in The same STATE OF OSUN:

Osun Assembly To Summon PHCN Chiefs Over Power Outages In Osun

The Osun State House Assembly on
Monday expressed dissatisfaction on
the epileptic power supply in some
communities in the state and tasked
the management of Power Holding
Company of Nigeria (PHCN) to tighten
its belt in ensuring regular power
supply in the state.
The state parliament condemned in
strong terms the inability of the PHCN
to help out some communities that
were thrown into darkness for months.
The state legislators expressed their
displeasure at a session presided over
by the deputy speaker, Honourable
Akintunde Adegboye, when the House
summoned the Business Manager in
charge of Osogbo District, Ede, and Ife.
The invitation, among others, was to
investigate the reason for the
development, verify some of the
allegations against the PHCN, and
identify how the government can
intervene in finding ways out to the
poor power supply in the state.
Apart from poor power supply, the
lawmakers also frowned at some
allegations of crazy bills by the PHCN
for power not consumed, non-
availability of pre-paid meters and
extortion of customers by the PHCN
staffers.
Speaking on the matter, the Business
Managers in-charge of Osogbo and
Ede, Engineer Victor Okoligue, James
Oshunkoya, and Engineer Awoniyi
explained that inadequate equipment
and human accidents were responsible
for the power failure.
They also attributed the problem to
low power generation from the base,
which has led to rationing of power
supply in the affected communities.
The managers also complained to the
House on the level of vandalisation of
PHCN properties and illegal
connections, which always complicate
the problems and make their work
more tedious and difficult.
After the interactions between the
lawmakers and the PHCN managers,
the House unanimously agreed to
summon the zonal leadership of the
PHCN for more clarifications and
solution to the problem.
In a motion moved by Honourable
Ipoola Binuyo, representing Ife North
State Constituency, and seconded by
Honourable Biodun Awolola,
representing Egbedore State
Constituency, the House resolved that
the leadership of Ibadan Zonal office of
the PHCN, which controls the three
districts in Osun State, should be
invited for explanations on epileptic
power supply in the state.
However, during the plenary,
Honourable Kamail Oyedele,
representing Orolu/Irepodun State
Constituency, advocated for an
independent power project to be
facilitated by the state government in
order to get rid of the power supply
problem.

Freiburger: That's what a lot of guyz here don't understand.
Imagine if he has sold all these multi platinum albums in the us, some folks just want him to sit back and let these hits die. and the rest as pirated CDs the hands of steet hawkers.
D Banj has sold more albums than Big Sean, and j cole, wiz khalifa, combined, but there he is, being critized by his fellow Nigerias calling him a failure coz he is on the course of innovation. One more time, i rather fight to be a world best than fighting to be Nigeria's best in whatever in doing. F**K bigotry.
how has D Banj sold more albums than Big Sean, and j cole, wiz khalifa, combined. You people like misinforming yourselves and gullible ones.

Afam4eva: I never said D'Banj was bigger than Big Sean globally. I'm talking about Relativity here. Big Sean is not as big in the US as D'Banj is in Nigeria.
you said that indirectly but even at that Dbanj met BigSean in America where Big Sean holds the ace and not in Nigeria so I don't get your point exactly. You shouldn't have even compared two artists. Big Sean is an intl artist and even outshone dbanj at dbanj's show in Nigeria where you said he is popular. Big Sean can hold a concert anywhere in the world whereas dbanj can't.

Afam4eva: So, Big Sean is now bigger than D'Banj. How are the mighty fallen, tell it not in Ogbomoso, publish it not in the streets of Lagos. It seems as though D'Banj is starting from square one. Why not remain a king where you come from and where you're more appreciated rather than been a slave somewhere else.
Whoever told you Dbanj was ever bigger than Big Sean an international artist with a number 1 album in the US. 80% of Nigerians are unexposed. smh

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Is A Betrayer - Atiku by MrGlobe(m): 7:28pm On Mar 26, 2013
Gbawe: Ha ha ha. Liar wants to backtrack after being exposed. Joker. You are not bright enough to get away with lies when you engage me. Next time, stick with the airhead charlatans and know your level. M0r0n.
you got my point didn't you? bloody hypocrite. I would have been a liar if I didn't have another person in the rank of Ajimobi to replace him. And mind you Amosu's name was not entered in addition to Ajimobi meaning I had one governor in mind you ignorant brainless fvck. Its not surprise you are dieing to capitalize off that error like a drowning fool you are without help to butress his point.
Now go back to the topic bloody lie peddler and hypocrite. You have the names of PDP rejects turned ACN superstars. can you address it now instead of avoiding it like a plaque. Dubious element
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Is A Betrayer - Atiku by MrGlobe(m): 7:19pm On Mar 26, 2013
Gbawe: M0r0nic liar. This is becoming too easy yet what is to be expected from creting long on liars and extremely short on knowledge? Prove Ribadu was a card-carrying PDP member. Ajimobi was an AD Senator and Osoba an AD Governor. Show you are not a stark illiterate by proving any of the names you mention are "superstars" in the ACN when they hold no publci Nigerian office. Learn the meaning of words before you bandy them around unintelligently to shore up your disposition for lies and 419. You guys are Grade A m0r0ns I swear.
what are you saying? Audu Ogbeh is a chieftain in ACN, Ibikunle Amosun a governor so what are you saying. Both Atiku and ribadu have all walked into ACN, got the highest position dumped it and walked out which is not possible in PdP. you must be schizophrenic.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Is A Betrayer - Atiku by MrGlobe(m): 7:13pm On Mar 26, 2013
@Gbawe is just a frustrated old man. I don't blame him though, having the job of propagating Tinubu lies and repainting his image is in itself suicidal. It has turned the folk mad and senseless.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Is A Betrayer - Atiku by MrGlobe(m): 7:07pm On Mar 26, 2013
Gbawe: Lying bigot, look above. I have exposed your Ajimobi lie. Slink away low IQ, lying reptile.
Sorry for that mix up, I meant Senator Ibikunle Amosun, governor of ogun state. Am still right, I simply replaced someone on the list, the list is still legit.. I advice you learn from me and drop and renounce your mistakes and lies in your case, when busted as always.

I now understand some yorubas are more equal than others. While Gbawe is busy trying to laundry Tinubu's laundered image you are doing the same for him cheesy smh. Anyway I can't join issues with you as you have been put in your place by sensible forumites.

my advice, its in your best interest to stay off nairaland for now. Can we discuss the PDP rejects turned ACN superstars you raised earlier?

Gbawe: Get lost ugly, bigoted mumu neanderthal. Your mouth stinks when you open it. I have as much interest in your garbage utterance as a black person has patience to entertain the hateful rants of a ku klux klan supremo.
grin grin cheesy cheesy
Finally nairalanders can see how much of a liar and how weak you are. Take your lies out of Nairaland because it will be busted anytime you sell them here. The majority of Nigerians have concluded ACN is fraud. The leader Tinubu too - an awaiting trial criminal is fruad. Swallow that till it hurts you.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Is A Betrayer - Atiku by MrGlobe(m): 5:18pm On Mar 26, 2013
Gbawe: Shut up silly bigot and clear off. I have shown him, beyond doubt, to be a liar and fraudster who maligns others with false assertions just like you and your ugly brethrens. He is in good company being defended by a notorious bigot and empty barrel such as yourself.

Folks like you only understand sentiments, bias, inferiority complex, negative indoctrination and animal-like hatred. When told to prove your case with facts and logic, you are always found wanting because you have nothing upstairs aside the caveman hatred of others, routinely passed on to you, that motivates how you act and talk 100% of the time like unthinking savages.
This is your character, always finding solace by whooping ethnic sentiment. You are a fraudulent character. You asked for ACN superters who are PDP rejects, I gave it to you in black and white and you bypassed it like the fraud you are to raise ethnicism, totally alien to the subject at hand. You are very dubious a character. You are the problem with Nigeria. A double faced individual. A bigot. You have now turned to attack atiku, forgetting how you romanced him when he was in ACN. Keep eating thiefnubus stolen funds until it chokes you. Peddler of uncommon lies.
