Am tired of these hungry people promoting paid agenda on this forum. There is Eko Ile - the one that has not seen development in his/her village supporting thief Tinubu and cronies and promoting useless yoruba agenda - that nobody wants to buy into - and then there is beef, the one that recieves monthly handouts from aso rock gate who would not allow Nairalandas to healthily debate the actions of their no direction President. These folks are a threat to this forum and taking healthy debates on this forum to the dogs. I think there are others too but am yet to notice them. Am tired of coming here to connect with minds and find these beggars defecating on every thread I open. Can we revolutionalize against them to leave the forum like gaddafi if seun wouldn't ban them? Enough is Enough

Exactly why I said most of you are new disciples. Who doesn't know Royce from way back, when he was beefing with eminem. For someone to get into a heated beef with eminem you how he has to be a sick lyrist or else Em will do you like he did Benzino. Royce has paid his dues. If you are a rap fan, you should know who he is

I will be the first to criticize but this here, I think is a master piece, what I thought you should be critizing the writer for is the start up capital. This is something that needs serious investment. Not just a million. Nigeria needs this business. Projector, games, books. The target market he proposed is classic. The economy is bad and people will embrace an ease of burden. Don't be surprised if this stuff get hijacked soon enough while you criticize. All business plans are geared for profits and the writer worked with that in mind. How would he know the amount of profit he would be making when it has not started looool,  You clearly no have point. Seriously. I like this stuff and am waiting for another person to come on and criticize it. You don't know what you are saying. I never knew you would participate anyways,  Lol.
Btw, Where are the phcking winners? Only seen 1
Seun please we are waiting for the second entry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or is it the business?
Business › Re: For-Profit Library (Media Rental) Business Strategy Essay Contest by MrGlobe(m): 9:39pm On Oct 20, 2011
Ok, I just went thru the essay again for the benefit of doubt and I can say @nateevs is reaching. You sound like you are bitter. That was what what ve been noticing from you this post essay period.
You now see people are no longer taking you serious.
You clearly pointed this out among the premise of the competition
'I'd like you to write an 'essay' on how you would start such a business, '
Now, seun asked for an essay not a business plan, he also said he'd prefer and essay to a businessplan.
Talking about profits, are you serious? So you expect the writer to know how much profit he will make already? I keep telling you, you must be nostrademus. The business will generally produce profits and I deduce that was the mindset of the writer. Talking about renting a book, the writer, I see put up websites of the same business pattern and I think they are making profits and people are renting above the rate.

^ STFU!!!! All these new 'rap fans' no go cease to amaze me. Royce was on the creative tip. He first wanted to reach out to rihanna cos she said she loved his music. The guy is a sick lyricist; obviously you have not heard his album with Eminem or his other songs because you don't know rap
'we rock like the outside of a guitar school'
Are you too dull to decipher the meaning of this word play? Go back to your Terry and stop disgracing yourself here

wtf!!!!! Damn, that was splendid. wow, so this competition produced this type of entry. The guy was on point. I wouldn't have given this away for 15k. obviously, I think his proposal will need a serious investment but it can still work small scale though. A very nice business plan and he gave out all details. I'm impressed and can only wonder what the next two will be like. Can we get the second? Give us the opportunity to compare the runner ups. we asked for second and third. Btw, I thought you said the #3rd was Emmanuel Promise? Now Emmanuel I? You might have to explain that.
Thank you, waiting for the second, let's assess your judgement

I tell you, the gop has not gotten that candidate that will beat obama. What is happening now is all noise. Mitt has the mormon stuff working against him, Perry lost the support of the high and mighty because of his stand on social security and he barely can take care of his state. For cain, no comment. I know when the time comes they'll dig up something against dude. Even republicans know they have not gotten that candidate yet. Obama will be re-elected
Foreign Affairs › Re: Black Republican Candidate Herman Cain Vs Obama In The Presidential Election by MrGlobe(op): 7:18am On Oct 19, 2011
The Black America he is talking about does not support him. He is only a puppet. At the end of the day either the repulblican does not pull out support from him and allow him fall like a pack of cards like they did Mitt and Rick or they allow him to go on and get beaten black and blue by Obama
Foreign Affairs › Re: Black Republican Candidate Herman Cain Vs Obama In The Presidential Election by MrGlobe(op): 8:00pm On Oct 18, 2011
Hahaha, These satanists are busy projecting their agendas. They withdrew support from Rick Perry because he was against social security, now cain is more like a puppet. Saying all sorts of rubbish again blacks. I just hope obama is successful with getting mrs clinton as vp. That will shut this whole debacle down. As for gop ticket, i think these satanists will leave it with cain. Election in less than 3 months and he is getting all the shine

@Nateevs I really had a great laugh over your post - in the positive sense though. First you can't make your opinion of me generic. Its just your opinion because I don't agree with your points since I think they are half baked. YOu must not try to make me think towards your direction before you rate me as a business person. I believe the people who have been watching this debate from the sidelines would judge us better.
nateevs:
A business executive never ignores figures. A Business Executive reads and interprets market decline, market threats, financial statements, percentage sales, revenue, profits and losses. A business executive understands global trends.
Yes, that's true but if everybody has gone by the things you posted above, we wouldn't have had many multi national companies today, we wouldn't have had twitter, we wouldn't have had great innovations today. Remember in the bible of entrepreneurs risk taking is inevitable, it now hovers on you to put your work right, create your ideas, weigh it , develop it and bring it to the table (which is what seun wanted to do with this essay until he lost focus). Yes can't do without figures and trends but what you count as failure might not be the same to another man, that's why we have different brains and IQS. That's why when Jesus told was it Lot in the bible and Abraham to pick a land, lot went for the trend and beauty but Abraham went for the substance. (sorry if I took you into the bible but you have to read that up). Maybe the strategy that brought in the figures were faulty and another man sees there is a future where people have written off. If we all looked at figures and statements, there would not be any innovation. The ability to look through figures and create your own ideas and bring it to the table is the diffrence between an entrepreneur and a business executive who manages ideas of an entrepreneur. And entrepreneur DOES NOT FOCUS ON TRENDS. They can be very fickle. You gotta think through. In the case of books and ebooks. Yes Ebooks are touted to be taking over but its still on paper. It has not reached to the common man in Nigeria who has yet to feed well to go on buying a kindle. The Common Nigerian who does not have regular access to electricity and internet. And you think they will do so any time soon. Many countries have 24/7 power supply but Nigeria still has nothing and it has spanned over decades. Now don't tell me power has no role to play in ebooks, especially if you have to consider educational purposes. the world you talk about have not even fully embraced ebooks. Books are still selling and renting worldwide. Infact people are still making money from books. Should we abandon this market and go for ebooks? even in America? No. Books still have a decent future so a Nigerian businessman need to live in the now and make money in the now. The market will change its self in the future, afterall the people who were selling CDs transformed to digital when that time came but even with 'hurricane digital', CDs are still selling, artist are still selling a million copies first week with all the itunes and free downloading online.
nateevs:
We are still waiting for the following from you:

1. That profitable Library in the UK.
2. That profitable Library in the US.
3. Proof that the physical book market is not a declining one.
4. Proof that by Ebooks won't overtake physical books in 50years.
Since you will not believe me if I say it, but this lady in the US shares her experience and don't worry, its not back dated. Its from this month and year

http://keligwyn./2011/10/03/a-sure-sign-that-the-printed-book-is-not-dead/

Here is a list of both private and public libraries in Los Angeles alone

http://getlosangelesonline.com/la-libraries.php

I told you if you do a bit google, you will find numerous libraries, I don't want to flood this place with links
Ebooks won't overtake books in 50 years? common, what can I say? Even if it overtakes it then it will be both sides. people are making money from both ebooks and books this day so from whatever proportion it comes in future people will still be making money from both sides. The market is large enough to accommodate everybody. And am not God, neither is anybody that can see the future. If I give you money to set up an online ebook store in Nigeria today, i bet you would never want to involve yourself with that.
Foreign Affairs › Black Republican Candidate Herman Cain Vs Obama In The Presidential Election by MrGlobe(op): 4:45pm On Oct 18, 2011
Obviously, this is not getting a lot of interest here but this issue is beginning to be taken seriously. Black republican candidate Harman Cain - the pizza lord might be facing up with Obama in The presidential election. The republicans are trying at all cost to get back the white house and they have planted this dude to do the dirty job so the Presidential election will be Black on Black.
People took this as a joke initially but stuff is getting bigger than it looks. This dude is leading obama in a recent poll that was conducted.
Now here is the twist and the reason why I dislike this man, he is proposing a 9-9-9 tax plan. Now flip that upside down and what do you get? 666!!!! And he did not come up with this plan, it was given to him according to reports. These people are bent on taking over the world and I hear the billionaires in America are rooting for this guy hard. hmmmm
Say the conspiracy

These boys no go kill person, what was that crotch grabbing jumpology X-O was doing on a cypher? shocked Since last year everybody has been telling XO the same thing. Eni a wi fun, oba je o gbo.

Funny how them 'folks' kept quiet and didnt say nothing until someone posted Modenine's lyrics and then they felt they had a point to criticise and then ended up getting put in their places.

Its a cypher, nobody cares if you are talking about your grandmother's best friends sick puppy, they care however about the way you tell are telling it.

the last time I was out rhymed I was about 9 . . . . . .the delivery of that line alone killed everybody on that cypher

In other news, Saucekid still dey flow o. cool
Exactly, but that does not give you the right to spit nursery rhymes like "am fly like a bird, no caging" lmao at ice prince. Are you serious? Why was rugged man not there, I mean, I know he is wack and all but he can hold his own among those guys.
Many people still don't understand what cypher is all about and the amount of talent it exposes. Now every tom, dick and harry comes to comment on cypher> smh. How can anybody in his right frame of mind compare mode 9's bars with all the random rubbish that some people were saying there? How can somebody in his right frame of mind bring up ice prince in this debate. smh, People really don't know rap. and after reading mode 9's ryhmes and the so called XO some people still want to debate XO is better. SMDH. I mean, its not by force, there is a big difference between what you saw there and Terry G, Dbanj and PSquare. That's the type of music most of you listen to and adore and all of a sudden, you want to bring those songs mentality to the cypher.
I mean, I was trying to ignore this but I keep getting updates on my mail. Go to youtube and watch American cyphers then when you are done educating yourself, you can come here to debate. NUFF said.
Mode 9 killed it and the distance between him and the second is that of heaven and earth. Its not even about opinion anymore, its very clear. Y'all can dead this.

Why are you always on one side of the divide? So in your books, one cannot be an entrepreneur and a biz executive at the same time? Smh. You are damn shallow but am tired of going back and forth with you. You can never be what you are not. I don't even want to brag about my 'familiar' here so lets just let it go.
I don't have a problem with people who ignore my idea. The only problem is when they come back to cry wolf.

BET America aired the hip hop awards on last tuesday without the Nigerian cypher while BET INTERNATIONAL aired on saturday. Common, you know those lines were pretty weak for the American audience. If I give you a million bucks to start media business in Nigeria today, from a business and profit point of view, would you start with ebooks or online?
