Music/Radio › Re: Nigerian Music Is Better Than America's by MrGlobe(m): 8:42am On Jan 01, 2012
I dont have a problem with singing in pidgin. I only do when its meaningless like those two I mentioned. One thing with american music is they are expanding their scope to satisfy the taste of different fans across the globe. What you call commercialization. You cant take the talent away from them anyway which is what is missing in Nigeria music. Without beat, can you listen to a music from nigeria?
Music/Radio › Re: Nigerian Music Is Better Than America's by MrGlobe(m): 7:49am On Jan 01, 2012
^ yeah, agree with you that american music is dropping in quality but it is stupid to compare it with Nigeria music. Folks who dont hear american accent and feel shortchanged are the ones hyping the noise called nigeria music that lacks value. The difference btw both worlds is that of heaven and earth. In a country where the best musicians sing songs like asampkokoto, akpako etc. Anybody that posted this doesnt even know what is american music in the first place
Music/Radio › Re: Nigerian Music Is Better Than America's by MrGlobe(m): 10:58pm On Dec 30, 2011
So this day will finally come when some low-life music taste individuals will put american structured music in the same sentence with Nigerian gutter music. Smh. Why not be objective with your comparison and compare the best 'nigerian music' with the wackest 'american music' overhyping rubbish is a bitch. Worst post on this forum EVER
Music/Radio › Tuface Denies Akon Signing Rumors by MrGlobe(op): 11:36am On Dec 24, 2011
to all the dummies that are waiting for the big break for their wack musicians in America. Another rumor busts!!!

“In Nigeria with my brothers about to take over Africa with @ 2faceIdibia and @wizkidayo, big up to P-Square,”

Nigerians on Twitter jumped to retweet this tweet,   and it became a trending topic in Nigeria in no time. The Media also went to report stories about Akon signing 2face, P.Square and Wizkid to Konvict music

Following media reports that the trio of, Tuface, Wizkid and P-Sqaure have been signed on to Akon’s Konvict Music, Tuface has debunked the story, saying it is false.

Speaking through his media man Bayo Omisere, Tuface said although he has maintained a fantastic relationship with Akon, there is however no existing ontract between them.

According to news reports, Akon was said to have signed Tuface, Wizkid and P-Square under his record label, Konvict Music. The information was allegedly by Akon himself through his Twitter page, where he expressed his happiness to have his Nigerian brothers on his label

The gist also had it that aside Akon making it known on his tweeter page, he was also said to have made mention of it to pressmen at Austin Jay Jay Okocha’s Club 10, during the unveiling of Citron energy drink, with Akon being a brand ambassador.

I don't get why folks don't want to understand that there is no space for these gutter music these artists produce in Nigeria in America. what is akpako? what is asamkpokoto? wiz kid? and people are dancing. smfh

Education › Re: United Kingdom Blacklists Nigerian Universities by MrGlobe(op): 4:47pm On Dec 21, 2011
I think since the so called 'topest' nigerian universities are all on the list, they should just go ahead and blacklist nigerian education. where is imsu and all the secondary schools called universities and the new universities they are planning to build. This Nigeria nawa.
Anyway I was never surprised. Sorting is university degree these days
Education › United Kingdom Blacklists Nigerian Universities by MrGlobe(op): 3:59pm On Dec 21, 2011
Medical graduates from nine universities in Nigeria will no longer be able to obtain licenses to practice in the United Kingdom, following a decision by the UK's General Medical Council (GMC) to ban the higher institutions.

The GMC, a body of independent regulators which registers medical doctors to practise in the UK, took the decision to bar graduates from the nine universities from writing PLAB.

PLAB is the UK exam that enables non-UK Medical graduates to undertake post-graduate medical training in the country.

The affected graduates are those who graduated after December 10, 2010 from Ambrose Ali University, Ebonyi State University, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Nnamdi Azikiwe University, University of Jos, University of Nigeria and the University of Port Harcourt.

It also applies to those who graduated on or after April 1, 2010 from Igbinedion University College of Health Sciences and the University of Benin.

Methinks that if the reason is legit then they should be blacklisted in nigeria too or else there will be disaster waiting to happen

The topic should rather be akon signs all nigerian musicians. dummmies.
Anybody that believed this is tripping and Nigerian musicians cannot break into american market with their no talent.

Politics › President Gej Administration Review by MrGlobe(op): 12:06pm On Nov 07, 2011
Just to refresh your memories, I just think this administration has been anti-people. Just a quick rundown
Oil subsidy to be removed
Toll gates to be reintroduced
Plate numbers and drivers license fees explode
No successful trail of any corrupt politician

^
is the nation broke and desperate for money?

6 year single tenure
kidnapping at all time high
Boko Haram - began activities at the highest level
Eagle square (national landmark) bombed
UN building (international landmark) bombed

On the good side
18,000 minimum wage (still staggering)
still more 4 years to go! Now I realize transformation is a two way thing. Positive or nagative

Politics › Re: GEJ On The Improved Human Development Index In Nigeria by MrGlobe(m): 2:06pm On Nov 03, 2011
WTF!!!! Yemen, myanmar and bangladesh are ahead of Nigeria and the president is popping champaign; refering us to his campaign speech and all. Last time I checked most of the countries in our grades are war torn, lack resources and all. Is this an improvement considering the number of countries entered is larger than the last one the president is referring to.
This is shameful! Nigerians is this what y'all bargained for?
Music/Radio › Re: Who Is The Best Musician In Nigeria: 2face Or Dbanj by MrGlobe(m): 11:26am On Nov 03, 2011
@ProudIgbo what soft drink is intoxicating you cos something must be wrong with your brain.
@TOPIC Tuface and Asa are the only true musicians in Nigeria with the whole package. Others are gimmicks.
However right now, DBANJ is the biggest gimmick in Nigeria. If thats what you are asking for. Its really working for him. His signing scam with Kanye West really put him as the biggest 'musician' otherwise known as gimmician in Nigeria right now.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Is Obama Likely To Win His Relection Bid In The States? by MrGlobe(m): 11:13am On Nov 03, 2011
Is not even close to call. Yeah Americans have lost hope in Obama but the Tea Party has not yet produced a candidate that can match him. Romney will not even get tea party nomination. Then cain, then perry. Even the tea party know they dont have that magic candidate yet. All there candidates have one controversy or the other that is not selleable so people can make all the noise and Obama will still win. He has everything at his disposal. His security success is there. Everybody knows congress is his nemesis. His campaign funding now cannot be matched by all that of the Tea Party joined. Obama will be reelected

Haha, abbey pls calm down, also understand there is too much illiteracy in the country some folks need x4 effort to properly learn and assimilate. Especially when their brains have been wrapped with ethnic sentiments
@publisher you must be a basic foo'l not to know Nigerian economy is not business oriented. A 'capitalist' economy the gorvernment majorly controls and funds. What is Nigeria's economic index. That may be too big for your iq so lets leave it at this topic. Understand the facts here first before we delve into other issues. You are one of the people that adores mediocrity.
Many people dont know that in 18 yr old in the west is considered an adult in a ramifications. He can get a decent job an all but in Nigeria 35 yr olds are enjoying away in their fathers house. At any way you look at it 85% rate in Nigeria is true. Less than 32 million Nigerians are comfy period

Nice one. It'll be a hit or miss however. First impression matters. You need to add politics into the mix for more hits since no single sector in Nigeria pull a very high interest online. It has to be in the model of huffingtonpost. It is needed. Am a passive blogger too. If you need consultation or advice or strategy hit me on

@Iolo maybe you didnt read that china recently drove majority of its poor into the middle class. There is no middleclass in Nigeria. None. You say the 'whites' are against your success but you collect aid from. We are not against a revolution in Nigeria but we must first understand where its pinching us. There are statistics on other nations but we must reject ours without bringing ours.
