Goodmorning fellow Nigerians, I posted this on meet-up section but it seems many people don't visit there, so I had to re-post it here for more exposure, so forgive me moderators.

I am somehow new on this forum, I am a guy, single and praying/hoping for the one. I also know that there are a lot of single guys like me, likewise single ladies but sometimes our nature of work or business or location don't always allow us to have enough time to meet/mingle with people of the opposite sex.

Many guys don't have the opportunity of meeting ladies; maybe as a result of their environment or lifestyle (introverts), so internet platforms like this becomes one of their options of finding a friend, partner and possibly a wife; same with the ladies.

So don't be shy, don't let ego or pride stop you from finding happiness in life, or discourage you from being free.

Don't conclude that u must meet your heartthrob in a particular environment because he/she may come from places you least expect; that's why u must be free in life as long as you are single.

Note for guys:
Only working class guys or guys who are doing viable business are allowed to join this group. So if you're a guy and u are a student, unemployed, or idle, pls don't bother requesting to be added because I won't add you, and once I discover that you lied, I will remove you from the group.

i quite understand your point especially if you are an APC supporter but you see this "siege mentallity and hate filled idiocy" is most observable in the north where APC is dominant. staying in kano for hw long i have has shown me that even if you remove ur head and drop it in the name of hard work; the moment sentiments for one reason or the other are raised you become a gonner -overnight. honestly tell me that the north even considered Jonathan to the extent of even 15%. even after all the infrastructure
he provided there. i have traversed the north enough to confirm to you that no administration has ever done as much for the north as his. but because there had to be alignments for sentiment sake. mind you i am a northerner and was also in the north during the elections. the slogan was "remove the kafir", it did make me wonder though.

Thank you 4 sharing dis thread with us. Most times, d dreams i had gives me srious cncern.
As am typing dis msage nw, ive not even said my morning dvotion because of a dream i had last nit.
I use to hv some dreams dat re unpleasant 2 me and each time i do, i wake up nd pray abt, bt somtimes, some dis dreams re rpeatd.
One of such dreams dat pain me most is seeing myself Eating in d dream.
Secondly, i c myself running or somone pursuing me in d dream. Like last nit i saw myself where someone i ws owing some money, gangd up wit abt 4 pple nd ws pursing me in d dream. And d truth is dat i dont hv d money 2 pay yet, bt it is my desire to do so.
And presently, things re nt realy ok wit me more especially financially. Though i hv dreams nd vision nd purpose 4 life, bt mayb because i dont rly have any1 to support me or could it b a rsult of spiritual influenc as may think somtimes. U can imagin being an only surving child of my poor mother in a poor home. I saw myself tru school nd sinc i graduted, ive bn able 2 raise money 4 my clearance cos i cldnt pay som of my tuition fees whil in skul. Am 36 nw nd sriously hungry 2 get married but no financial stability yet. But i strongly hv my faith in God as i keep pursueing my dreams.

Message

Prayer involves much more than asking God for our heart desires. It also involves praise and worship, both of which are very much related. While praise acknowledges God for what He has done, worship acknowledges God for who He is. We need to understand that God expects all creatures to worship Him ( Revelation 5:13). No matter what or who they are, as far as they exist, God expects them to worship Him.

Pretty much everybody in existence has received something from God ( Acts 17:28). However, only those who acknowledge what they have received as coming from God can be deemed worshippers. Among this group of people, there are those who feel contented with what they have received from God. If you are in this category, praise and worship God. On the other hand, there are those who feel they have not received enough from God . These are people who feel God has done much but not enough for them. Such people believe they need more blessings from the Lord, and some even feel that God has not done enough to warrant their praises. It's among this category of people you will find those who compare their wealth and other tangible achievements with that of those they think are more privileged than themselves. More often than not, people who engage in such comparisons conclude that God has not been fair to them. No matter how little you think the goodness of the Lord is in your life, it is imperative that you praise and worship Him.

Many people feel as though God has done nothing for them. In their opinion, God is not good at all. This kind of feeling is wrong and dangerous. If the devil is ministering to you that God is not good at all, resist the devil and worship God for who He is. It is easy to fall into this state when you are afflicted. Examples of those afflicted are bereaved,the sorrowful, the disappointed and the discouraged. We should worship God even when afflicted. A classical example of someone who did this is Job. Job was a man who worshipped God in prosperity ( Job 1:5 ) and he also worshipped God in the midst of satanic afflictions. Job 1:20-21 says :

'Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.'

Note that Job still worshipped God at the end of his trials ( Job 42:1-5 ). Worship characterises vessels unto honour. Are you a vessels unto honour? If your answer is yes, go ahead and worship God, whatever your situation might be.

Prayer Points :

Father, grant me the grace to worship you, no matter what I am going through.
