A lot of pple has come up with some good points.

But dat doesn't mean u should just walk up to a girl and ask such. In Naija today especially in d universities things like this happens a lot. We guys need to stop complaining about girls.. Infact me I'm tired, most girls are very difficult to understand. My advice to all guys though its something I'm working on is to not give girls too much attention at the beginning. The more u ignore a girl the more she would want u.
