rogerdavid: Thank you for your concern MrMann1. I have contacted the school admission office and I attached the Proof of Delivery from DHL in a mail to you. I hope it works! I do not think the evaluation is the problem because my Undergraduate transcript was delivered and receipt acknowledged by the Graduate school. Moreover, the evaluation on both undergraduate and MS transcripts was done on the uploaded/student copies of both. Good. I believe they will give you an update soon. Be positive. |

rogerdavid: HellO Good people
Please what can I do to fix this:
My official transcript sent over two months ago from my school was delivered by DHL but it is still not reflecting on my Application account as "received" Contact the school admission office via email. Tell them this experience. DHL tracking will show the exact office the transcript dey. Another thingy is have you been able to evaluate the transcript? It might be the issue, pls try to contact the admissions office of that school. Good luck. |

temi4fash: Please ogas at the top,
I hail ooo.
Please I need help as regards my application, the school is asking for an overall GPA over 4.0 and gave instructions on how to calculate it but there is no E on the scale and all the grades have + and -, A+, A, A- and the likes, Do I just use the the A's , B's and the likes because the scaling has no score.
Still preparing for GRE..
What do I do?
Thanks Your best bet is to get your transcript evaluated by the recommended firms the school advises. You wanna evaluate yourself and send to them |

somlaw213: my story goes like this. I am 25 years old. the last time i was at the embassy, was in october. An agent that filled my form form, he filled that i was studying economics and that i am in 3 hundred level and it was on the basis that i'm taking my sick father for operation in the usa. Although I studied computer and graduated june last year from babcock university. Now I've gotten admission in the community college texas to study computer science. I don't want to change my information to avoid any complication. with my interview scheduled for next week. hopefully when i get my visa, I can then apply for masters. I just saw a link to this forum last night and thought I should share my story with you. can someone advice me on the possible questions. Or what do you advice me to do ?? How do you intend to explain to the VO your reason of choosing a community college? You are a university graduate already, I wonder how u would convince the VO why you chose community college over thousands of US university that offers post grad programs. |

Rahmeek: Check "extended home stays". You can get a room for atleast $100 a week before you get a place. It is not advisable to just move into anyones place without knowing the person well. Our nigerians in yankee are something else especially the ones in houston,tx. Make sure you know the person very well before you move. Best of luck. Hmm... Thanks for your advice. aadeyi: Why not look for somewhere to stay in Houston for the first few days, and you look for room mates in school who lives closer to the school. Good advice. Thanks |

malory84: Hi dear. I want to apply to TSU for fall admissions. pls how is the school? Do they give financial aid, GA, RA OR TA to international graduate students? What what your GRE score? I am not yet in the school. By the grace of God, I will be attending the sch by fall semester. No financial aid for intl students but after a session, one would be eligible for GA, RA, TA. My GRE score is a bit low... 282 |

Senatorbee: Please what can an intending applicant take to the interview if his school does not issue transcript to its students by hand but only officially transcript to foreign universities for evaluation please kindly advice The VO will not ask for your transcript. However, try to hold the evaluation report you got from the company that evaluated your transcript. |

purplesummer: I don't think that section refers to who pays your flight ticket, I believe it's asking who your sponsor is, ie who sponsors the trip. If you are going to tell the VO that you are sponsoring yourself because you are a working class then your account statement should show it. If your uncle is your sponsor (nothwisthsatnding that you are paying for the flight yourself) then you have to indicate that accordingly. My humble opinion though. You are right. I believe the VO won't ask who will pay for flight, instead he/she will ask who is your sponsor, so she answer accordingly to the SOA doc she will be using to support her application. |

UNIVofTEXASatT: Hello, I am certain that you will get more than 50% slash in tuition and a stipend if you have a good undergraduate GPA. That said, if the professors think you are a research asset, you will get an assistantship which will cover many of your expenses. Hey, but the school website says "Award Amount: up to $1,000 per year" so how does 50% slash in tuition comes in |
