Hey guys,this is where I really need tactically suggestions. I need a strategy to go about my transcript issues. Have applied and need to forward my transcripts but I need a strategy here. This is how it goes:
I have two transcripts to send,my BSC and my PGD. My BSC is from Michael Okpara Uni,while my PGD is frm Unical. Have applied into three schools. One requires evaluation,the other two want transcripts sent directly. Now how best do I send these transcripts to the two schools and to the one that requires evaluated transcript by IERF or WES? Please give me the best strategy to go about this plz.

Is it possible you send the transcript to IERF or WES, then let them send the evaluation report to those schools by themselves, or get a soft copy of the evaluation report and send it to the school via email. Try to relate with those schools to ask if it is OK for them

meanwhile my school's spring break trip to california, hollywood,miami bla bla bla is 2k plus per head for 1week .wen dem de talk am for d meeting few hours ago mhenn..i jus de shine my teeth de look dem til dem close d meeting o .(honestly i was disapointed because i tot it wud b like 100dollars,,den i go hold like 50dollars for shopping ,,evrytin 150dollars max )

everyone wants to move or school in the expensive states..why not start from the less expensive states and move to your choice states after graduation. I love my lone star state...Apartments are cheap,a one bedroom apartment start from 450usd and a two bedroom start from 725usd,Transportation is cheap,gas is cheap,metro buses are cheap 1.25usd..food is cheap,employment is readily available..That's why everyone wants to move in here..Am not advising anyone to move to Texas,just seek university admission in States where the economic living is not harsh.

Those that filled the DS-160 recently, did you actually upload a picture in your application or you skipped that part and went to the embassy with a passport photo instead. This new method get as e be.

Try uploading a photo, the application may or may not accept it. However, hold at least 2 passport photos. Goodluck

Yes. I got it, I had to defer cos resumption was close and foreign exchange is very bad as at now. Fall 2016 on my mind

rate is endless as far as there is cash in it, my neighbour uses the GTB platinum card to pay his tuition up until Governor Emiefiele ate his own words,so therefore get a domiciliary account in a "reliable' bank (maybe GTbank platinum card, or either diamond bank or fidelity bank dual currency cards), make sure you test run them a thousand times and request they left off the magnetic strip security(another CBN headache) so you can swipe(our Nigerian debit cards are over protected ) so do have a safe trip brother

Go to your bank and tell them u want to make use of Form A for ur tuition payment, they will actually request for all ur documents both visa and the rest. The procedure takes like 2 weeks at most.
That's what I used in making my own payment and the rate was 197 but my diamondbank charged me 1% of the naira equivalent

Pls can folks - sponsor do this on my behalf while I'm out of Naija. Thinking of dropping the copies of docs for them

Please, If I defer till Fall semester, when is it legally right to enter the states?

Use the one recommended by your intended school

Log on to ets.org, Register for the exam there, u should be able to pay with your visa or MasterCard, select your preferred exam centre. Goodluck

Did you get extension letter from your school? Didn't you have issues at POE since school has already resumed on your arrival to the US. I seem to be in the same issue with you.

well for me I learnt through the hard way. I am a college Freshman and have no relatives here in the US apart from the ones at home (Naija). I got a mouth-watering scholarship from my school but did not manage it well. First, I got a single which was $350 above my school's calculated average for housing (didn't know before hand that it was that expensive) and did not complete all the pre-departure medical requirements from home ( I paid dearly for this mistake!). I had to get a loan to pay off the total extra charges that accrued. My scholarship also covers the costs of feeding during the semester, but I work (15-18hrs) every week to raise enough money to cover the cost of books (not covered by the scholarship) and also help my family back home ( I be/was (a)  kpako guy ).
    Now, I have moved to a triple to drastically cut the housing cost. I  just opted out of my school's meal plan (very expensive ) since I can cook. I still use a laptop loaned from my school since I can't buy one yet. No hipster lifestyle for me o, every kobo sorry I mean cents means a lot to me. I basically starved as I didn't plan well for the winter break, but got help from fellow Nigerians   here.  I am doing pretty good now, my semester begins tomorrow and ends in May. I am kinda happy because I will get enough change from the scholarship and do hope to get a laptop from that. I also have to begin saving in prep for summer housing since I can't go home. I just love the fact that I am struggling to survive here on my own. Getting  to this place and managing well has not been easy, but I will say aluta continua!!
