ItsQuinn:Wait na, e go still reach 550. You never see chumchin. |
saxby:Which Tecno? The one that the processor is same with that of a calculator? |
Don't be fooled, the monikers hyping Infinix on the first page all belong to one person. S/he is typing and replying through various monikers which can be traced to him. Go to the front-page and check the dates they all registered. Some are on the 18th of March, 2016, 6th of Feb 2017, others registered yesterday (20th of March 2017). If you buy an infinix product based on their shady testimonies, you're on your own. I'm typing this with an infinix phone I bought after this kind of adverts. Bought the phone on 12th of December, the board got bad on the 24th. Had to get another board at almost half the price of the phone. |
frankloloko:Would the Igbos even support Obi? Even the governor of his state isn't even in his good books and you're asking outsiders to support him. |
In 2013, Aero sacked 95% of its workers. In 2017, 60% of the rest are sacked. In life, to fly high from a cliff, they either push you or you jump by yourself. The mother eagle teaches her eaglets to fly by pushing them from great heights high in the rocks. When you're in paid employment, each morning you wake up to go to work brings you one day closer to your exit from that company. Would you jump or wait for them to push you out? |
joycesims:Being a judge is also risky. However, just as we have witness protection programs for witnesses, there are also protective measures for jurors. Sequestration does a lot of good for the jurors and limits the ability of litigants from reaching the jurors, hence they are insulated from influence. |
joycesims:The Jury system is practiced in the US and some other jurisdictions, but it is NOT practiced in Nigeria. In Nigeria, only the Judge rules and gives judgement in contentious matters before him in court. To answer your questions, 1. The judge is like a legal adviser to the jury. S/he ensures that pieces of evidence adduced, witnesses summoned and testimony given are in accordance with existing laws. 2. Yes. 3. No juries in Nigeria. 4. Yes, participation is a must as it's a civic duty. However, a juror my be excused based on certain considerations. 5. No, they aren't paid. Accommodation and feeding during sequestration are taken care of by the government. |
Charles Ponzi was so adept at scamming people that while in prison, some people still gave him money to help them 'invest'. |
Johnson Suleiman bought a Range for this Daniella girl na. Let him come out to deny Daniella and he'll get more than he bargained for. |
dokyOloye:Makes us go back to the good old quote: 'pictures or...' |
Lest year, Daniella Okeke posed with some vehicles. The pics were on Nairaland front-page here. A poster ran an online check on the plate number of the vehicle and it was registered in the name of Apostle Suleiman. This screenshot is from another post this year.

Firstcitizen:I can confidently tell you that Keyamo doesn't win cases. He's just a noisemaker. He has bungled several cases due to his incompetence. From Bola Ige's case to others, he just disgraced himself. In Dimeji Bankole's case, this incompetent Keyamo asked the court to convict Bankole on morality even if he didn't do his job properly as a lawyer. |
The toilet in Oriental Hotel is better than this. See as the place be like where them dey do drinking competition. |
Not bad. |
satowind:Bro, you don't need this. Just type RIP or just exit the thread. |
iamkingzlee:You ignorant Arrow, the money spent on Kemen's billboard would have been better spent on your education. Unfortunately, you are one of those clowns referred to as leaders of tomorrow. |
signz:If the Governor of Akwa Ibom likes, he should vacate his office and hand it over to Kemen. It is because of ignorant misfits in leadership like the Speaker that they haven't been able to stop the mutilation of children for witchcraft in Akwa Ibom. |
Zhirinovsky:But if Fayose comes with Tinubu, you would shout 'hossana' abi? When the time comes, Tinubu knows what to do. The problem the SE has is that they have no leader to fight their battles. Hence, anyone who is against the north and APC is seen as a saviour. That is why they support Fayose, Fani Kayode and went on to adopt the Shiites. |
Since the time Buhari left, the daily actions of Osinbajo gives me hope that Nigeria has a bright future. |
Tinubu is a very smart politician. He wants Osinbajo as president but won't come out to reveal that as it would redirect the attacks to Osinbajo. He has simply tossed a red-herring to scatter the North and make them say what they are thinking. Meanwhile, Osinbajo is going from Aba to Warri to Akwa Ibom, stealing the heart of the SE and SS. He's not making the mistake of Gej and OBJ who did everything to pacify the north at the expense of their own people. In 2019, if the south presents one single candidate, the North is finished cos that can't stand that. They always scatter the south prior to elections, but can't believe the same dish would be served to them this time. They would fight Tinubu from now till 2018 only for them to discover in 2019 that Osinbajo is the main guy. By then, it would be too late. Interesting days are ahead. |
nnamdiokere45: |
Steal from one person and you're a criminal. Steal from everyone and you're a government. |
levi2:The thing really pain this one o! See as e wan kill himself! |
pannyman:The appreciation was artificially induced because the depreciation was artificially induced also. Don't you know that market sentiments play a big role in the Forex business? Banks turned themselves into speculators and were seriously involved in round-tripping. Unfortunately, the CBN governor can't do anything cos he's also a sleazy banker. Why should banks not have dollars to sell, but northerners have? It is because it it is more profitable to sell to abokis above the official price than to sell to those who need it at the official price. Instead of Banks to sell to you at 305, they prefer to sell to Abokis at 350, while the Aboki sells to you at 455. |
deflover:So much words but little sense. Even Dalung has better understanding of issues than you. Sometimes, the exchange rate is supressed artificially but the deal thing is to let it flow with the dynamics of the economy. What Osinbajo has done is to take the game out of the hands of the speculators and back into the control of the CBN. Now, speculators are unsure of the next move as they have dollars on their hands but are considering their options. You are offloading your own USD but advising others to keep theirs, wehdone. |
BabaCommander:You haven't even seen anything. You better go and sell your few dollars before the heavyweights start dumping theirs. They are waiting for it to fall around 399 before shoving it into the market. |
Really sad |
Gracis:Actually, I don't belong to the school of thought of those who carry their profession on their heads. People add Barr as a prefix to my name tho. What set and what dept did you finish from? |
Really cool, lawyers in equity. I hope they provide legal solutions with the same dexterity as they have come up with these costumes. The sky is their launchpad. I rep IfeLaw, Golden Set (2012) |
In Nigeria, when someone is going in pilgrimage, he is charged 197/Dollar. However, when an inventor seeks to buy equipment for his inventions, he would be charged 500/Dollar. That explains why Nigeria remains the way it is. |
BillDesmond2much:The Navy burning this has someone from Cross River State as the Chief of Naval staff. So, your analogy is defective. |
koolet:Do you operate alone or you have a gang? |
