emmanuelewumi:Actually, there is a difference between compulsory acquisition of land and revocation of Certificate of Occupancy. If Government acquires your land (usually for overriding public interest), you are entitled to compensation. If Government revokes your C of O, you won't be given a penny because you are in breach of the terms of the grant. |
Alagbole, Akute, Lambe, Ajuwon, Agbado, Sango, you're on this table. Ojodu Abiodun, na God save you. Ogun State but inside Lagos. |
Nnamz:Yes, without a penny as compensation. It's part of the terms of Grant that you develop within a specific period. Ambode did the same thing at Lekki Scheme 2. Land prices at Lekki Scheme 2 fell at that time cos because there was a glut caused by many sellers looking to offload. A lot of people have Certificates of Occupancy and don't bother to read the fine print from pages 2 to 5. That's where the government 'hides' the important info. |
He should select all the notes that their serial numbers are still visible and take them to his bank. The CBN through the bank would replace those notes with visible serial numbers. |
Just a little more salt, just a little more salt, Oya put small more. It ended in tears. |
Even Abba Kyari didn't get this kind of funeral. |
slex:Alright, I understand. Happy sales. |
mistamexzy:Multiply it by 380 and then factor in the clearing fees for it (brand new). How much do you get? |
silibaba:Who told you? Dangote that spent 50Million Dollars on a Yacht? Do you know the cars even Dangote's daughter drives? Dangote loves wristwatches and some of his wristwatches can set you up for life. |
silibaba:That is still because you can't afford it. There is a difference between being able to buy it and being able to afford it. When you can afford it, you won't see it as a luxury, it would be a mere security requirement for you. The horsepower helps you escape from assailants. |
Tiarababy:How far? What's the latest update? |
Theconglomerate:Hmmn. I've picked some important tips from your post. Thanks. |
sammyj:Keep waiting for the FG. I pity you. When the market becomes saturated, that is when you want to enter? Better start in your little way and be sewing both adult and kid sized masks. Call it Reusable Health Masks or something fancy. |
Explorers:Never say Never. God sparing your life and giving you good health and legit prosperity, you will buy more than this. |
Theconglomerate:If you fix the house up good, they would pay. Ordinary screeded sitting room walls and white paint would chase out low ballers. The major problem with traders is that you can rent a 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom and 7 guys be living there. It usually puts a strain on the facilities. |
emmanuelewumi:It's a good deal then. Besides, once they commission that Ikeja Along to Oshodi Expressway, it's a game changer for that area. The interesting thing is that as the days go buy, more fantastic deals would crop up. During the 2015/2016 recession, one of my clients bought 5 plots of land just opposite Dangote Refinery at Ibeju-Lekki for 8M a plot. The same man who sold to her sold 4 plots beside hers to a bank for 26M per plot last December. |
emmanuelewumi:Oh. I guess that's not Mafoluku proper? But is that good or bad? I'm asking because I feel the close proximity to Ladipo would make it more attractive to tenants, particularly those at Ladipo market. |
emmanuelewumi:The 6 units of 3 bedroom flats are at Sadiku, Ogundele Side. For the 6 units of 2 bedroom flat, I don't know the exact area cos I didn't pursue it further. If one looks deep enough, there would definitely be good deals on 4 bedrooms in Mafoluku. |
Emmanuelewumi and Stephen13, there is currently a block of 6 units of 2 bedroom flats for sale in Mafoluku for 35M asking. There is another newly painted block of 6 units of 2 bedroom flats at that same Mafoluku for 40M. Let me teach you something I do. If you want to buy something priced like 35M, write a cheque of like 25M, leave it unnamed, snap it and attach it to a Letter of offer for 25M. Even if the seller turns it down initially, he won't be able to sleep. I have told my clients not to buy any property yet. Currently have 3 of them I told to hold on till early July. Then, we would enter the property market for point and kill. |
I don't know about this but in my Estate, Police patrol came into my street 3 times between 11pm and 4am. We were awake but indoors, youths were outside. |
sanerugwei:Hi, good day. You've been trying to reach me via email but my responses to your email are not going through. |
Tiarababy:Please, send me a PM or send an SMS on Zero Eight Zero 63790773. I'll call you back. Already making some contacts with some of my friends in the Abia State Government. |
ThatPetiteChic:Lol. You noticed? Thanks so very much. I owe you cake and rice. |
Aquilapriscilla:I don't know about that but I have 2 Fidelity bank accounts, both savings. I also have 2 GTB savings (from different branches). But one of the savings, my individual Dorm and Corporate accounts are in the same branch. Maybe the elephant is tired of eating. I suggest you send a mail to their Customer care online. |
Tiarababy, where are you located? If in Lagos, send me a PM. If outside Lagos, I suggest you snap pictures of the baby and take the baby to a government hospital. Thereafter, get a Doctor's report and go report to the Police. Give the police copies of the doctor's report and pictures of your baby's injuries. Tell the Police the woman wanted to kill your baby but she got caught. Insist that the matter be charged to Court. If the police try to play games or delay things, pls send me a PM or let me know. |
There is someone I know on Nairaland who is currently building a house but posts his bank details on Nairaland begging for giveaways. Some of those he is begging don't even have a bag of cement in their names. Some people are in genuine need and require help, while others are greedy thieves. The problem is how to differentiate. |
The last time Nigeria was shut down this long was when Oshiomole was NLC President. He shut down Nigeria for 2 complete weeks because of 5 Naira increase in fuel price. Obasanjo was forced to remove the 5 Naira. |
Crazeworld:To have "cash at hand" or to have assets that can be easily converted to cash. |
504. The only car my father bought twice. The 2000 series were cool. The sound of the engine was madt. |
Erediauwa:You have been looking for a way to leave Nigeria for more than a year ago. Now, you are still here, throwing insults at those who can help you. I would remind you of this your post in 2021, a year from now. |
