The Sony Entertainment Network thingy comes on the screen.
But that's where it ends, BROWZER and SYSTEM CONFIGURATION comes on.
If I try to play the game, I get " There is no data". |

Hi Guys,
I am having problems with my brand new PS 2.
When I power it shows me BROWZER and SYSTEM CONFIGURATION.
When I click a button it then shows me " there is no data".
I tool it back to Computer Village (where I bought it)
And it worked.
No Hassles.
Brought it home and tried it and I'm still having the same problems.
I have looked at the manual several times.
Could it be the TV?
The Cable?
Someone had his problem before or who can help me out?
Thanks. |

Music/Radio › What Is The Difference Btw A Rapper And Emcee by MrMurdah(op): 11:33am On Apr 08, 2010 |
Is a rapper an emcee?
Most people get this twisted and lump the two together.
Let me share my pennies,
In the early annals of Hip Hop I believe they were one and the same.
But when Hip Hop grew and the corporate corporations took over, it stifled the art form of Hip Hop.
And rappers were born.
Emcees are, a dying breed who choose to keep Hip Hop purified and unadulterated.
Rappers are not necessarily emcees. They do whatever it takes to make a hit record and make money. Even if it means operating outside the annals of Hip Hop through copycatting, mediocrity e.t.c.
Emcees are purists and refuse to conform to anything that is not Hip Hop no matter the incentives.
An MC, a lyricist, is considered by most to be more than just an ordinary rapper.
A step above just a rapper an emcee not only writes great lyrics, but also rocks the stage equally well, true hip hop style. |

You guys keep misinterpreting this thread. So cuz they are superstars (exaggeration) their music is not permitted to be wack? Did they clock their super stardom from individual talent or riding as roadies for D'banj and Jazzy? Which frontline shows have you seen them do their thing? Face it dude, if those guys were not in the Mo Hits academy, we won't even be having this discourse. There are hordes of guys, better talented without the Mo Hits clout. because they are not superstars, does not make them less talented. Because somebody has money does not necessarily make his music appreciable. If this was the case, we would probably consider Master P one of the greatest of all time. Yea we appreciate Master P's hustle, Yea he has money. But that don't mean he makes good music. Get your head outta your backside and think straight. |

This thread is not about how crappy these guys are.
I believe Wande is the only talent in the Mo Hits Crew. The rest are just riding in the passenger seat.
This is a case of the devil and the deep blue sea
These guys are beneath average at best. But we still have to choose between them.
In my opinion, The Prince put in more effort than fyne boy Dr Sid who is just content with riding roadie for Mo Hits.
Sid also thinks itz his fine looks that will sell his crappy music. Even Jazzy's midas production could not save him.
The Prince has worked on himself since the Mo Hits Album days and you can see his effort shine through his music.
These are artistes I can easily pass up. They are not in that caliber I usually attune to.
But the Mo Hits clout, has thrust them into our faces and eardrums, whether we like them or not.
It's on that basis I choose The Prince.
The doctor needs a better prescription for his music.

Sports › World Cup 2010: South Korean Pundit Analyses Nigeria by MrMurdah(op): 3:59pm On Feb 17, 2010 |
Whilst Nigeria is still jumping up and down waiting for entries for a theme song for our Super Chickens. The South Koreans (arguably the weakest in our group) have dissected the Nigerians through and through. Below is an interview with a South Korean football commentator: Hahn June-Hea. This guy is just a commentator not a coach, see how he x-rays our Eagles, sorry I mean chickens! I looked for a fault, could not find ANY! Read on! Goal.com spoke exclusively with KBS (Korean Broadcasting System) football commentator, Hahn June-Hea about one of the Korean national team's group rivals, the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Goal.com: What were your impressions of Nigeria as you were covering the Africa Cup of Nations?
Hahn: Nigeria's strength, first and foremost, is their attacking. It might not be as potent as it once was, but the individual quality of their forwards cannot be overlooked. The most impressive players were Peter Odemwingie, the ace of Nigeria's attacks, and Chinedu Obasi, who seemed dangerous when he started dribbling down the flanks with his pace. In addition, Obafemi Martins and Nsofor could also be game-changers when called upon in the second half.
Another one of Nigeria's strengths is the depth they possess in the striking department. On top of the players I've already mentioned, there are the likes of Ayegbeni Yakubu, Kalu Uche and Nwankwo Kanu, not to mention a few who didn’t participate in the ACN, such as Ikechukwu Uche and Michael Eneramo.
If [Ikechukwu] Uche returns to the national team and plays up front, Nigeria's attacking prowess can strengthen even further. Not only is he mobile, he's also very good at linking up with team-mates around him.
On the other hand, Nigeria's weakness is their inability to play as a team at both ends of the field. Most of their goals aren't created via organisation, but rather dependant on individual skills. In general, most of their players are not so effective when they’re off the ball.
The defenders also seem to be lacking positional sense and allowed space to the opponents, and there were a number of instances where they allowed the opposing strikers to get behind them.
Also, the tempo of build-up plays from defence to attack is rather slow. If Korea apply effective pressure on them, there is a good chance Nigeria will struggle to give the ball to their strikers.
However, once the strikers have the ball at their feet, Nigeria are no longer a slow team.
Goal.com: Nigeria manager Shaibu Amodu has been sacked recently in a controversial manner. While it's true that his leadership qualities have been questioned in recent years, it's a big risk for the Nigerians to go through a managerial change with just months prior to the World Cup. What are some of the positives as well as the negatives regarding this issue?
Hahn: Overall, Nigeria were thoroughly unimpressive throughout the Cup of Nations. They were inept against Egypt and were lucky to beat Benin. Against Mozambique, the quality of the opponents was poor. I thought they were far below expectations throughout the Cup of Nations.
With that in mind, it's surely a risk for Nigeria to change managers at this moment, but there's also a counter-argument as they're convinced to hire a new gaffer, since Nigeria aren't likely to be better than they were during the Cup of Nations any time soon with Amodu at the helm.
In that sense, I believe it's a gamble worth taking for Nigeria. Of course, it'll all depend on who they hire as their new manager.
Goal.com: Nigeria have been criticised for their poor defensive performances for quite some time. However, one of the biggest reasons behind their run to the semi-finals in the Cup of Nations was their defence. How would you assess Nigeria's defensive abilities?
Hahn: It's true that Nigeria conceded very few goals outside of the game against Egypt, but considering all aspects, their defence wasn't as impressive as the statistics indicate. There were quite a few defenders who seemed to lack positional sense and aggression. As far as defending is concerned, I'm guessing Taiwo, Nwaneri, Odia and a few others showed that they were lacking. On the other hand, Danny Shittu, Mohamed Yusuf and Uwa Echiejile assured everyone of their defensive qualities. Sani Kaita, who was their defensive midfielder, wasn't too bad either.
With Nigeria's defence seemingly lacking organisation and aggression, there are three rules you have to follow in order to expose them effectively. First, you have to take advantage of your forward making runs behind their defence by feeding him the ball on counter-attacks. Second, limit touches as much as possible in the final third and be quick when passing the ball. Also, when their defenders are allowing space, don't hesitate to launch long shots.
Goal.com: Nigeria's forward Peter Odemwingie has been rated quite highly with some impressive showings during the Cup of Nations. How would you assess his qualities?
Hahn: Odemwingie is undoubtedly Nigeria's most important player up front. Over the last few years, he has been hitting top form at both club and international level.
In theory, he has operated mainly on the right wing, but he isn't strictly limited to playing there by any means. He's capable of switching onto the left flank and could even play through the middle as an attacking midfielder.
His biggest strength is his individual ability to make plays as well as his technical qualities. He has the skills and athleticism to take on multiple defenders at once and his quickness and passing skills are also impressive. In addition, he's naturally right footed, but uses his left foot just as well. He also takes a large number of Nigeria's set pieces and is an all-round attacking player with a complete set of skills.
However, his explosiveness is below standards if we're to compare him with some of Nigeria's top stars from previous eras. He might struggle against an intelligent defender with mobility.
Goal.com: During the game between Nigeria and Ghana, you said: "Nigeria breaks down easily against top quality opponents". Why do you think that is?
Hahn: Nigeria somehow managed to beat Benin, Mozambique and Zambia but they were beaten by Egypt and Ghana, which convinces me that they aren't doing well against strong sides.
Also, neither one of Egypt and Ghana had their strongest squads in the Cup of Nations. Egypt didn't have Aboutrika or Zaki, both of whom are their key strikers and Ghana also didn't have Essien, Muntari, Paintsil and Mensah. This is exactly why Nigeria's run to the semi-finals isn't as impressive as it looks on paper.
The biggest reason for this is Nigeria's lack of team chemistry. Both Egypt and Ghana are well organised for African teams and Nigeria showed that they struggle against teams that are organised.
Another one of Nigeria's weaknesses is that they seem to lack focus from time to time throughout the game and both Egypt and Ghana were able to take advantage of this with their pace.
Goal.com: Last but not least, How would you rate Nigeria after watching them in the Cup of Nations?
Hahn: Individually, they aren't bad at all. However, they're definitely far from top level as a team and it showed during the Cup of Nations. I would say that Nigeria’s capacity as a team and their limits were exposed during this tournament |
